20150154979AUTOMATED PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY USING AUDIO WAVEFORM DATA - In order to play waveform data back at a variable performance tempo by using waveform data which complies with a desired reference tempo, the present invention performs a timeline-expansion/contraction control on the waveform data to be played back, according to the relationship between the performance tempo and the reference tempo. The present invention also determines whether to limit the playback of the waveform data according to the relationship between the performance tempo and the reference tempo. In the case that playback is to be limited, the present invention stops playback of the waveform data, or reduces the resolution of playback processing and continues playback of the waveform data. The present invention stops playback of the waveform data when, for example, the relationship between the performance tempo and the reference tempo is a relationship in which the waveform data would be played back at a performance tempo which would cause a processing delay or a deterioration of sound quality. As a result, it is possible to preemptively prevent a system freeze and solve problems such as the generation of music which has a slower tempo than the desired performance tempo, or the generation of music which includes the intermittent cutting out of sound due to noise, or a significant reduction to sound quality.06-04-2015
20150144420ACOUSTIC EQUIPMENT - A distal end of an inserted pole makes contact with a bottom surface or tapering surface of a portion corresponding to a bottom of an insertion hole. The ridge portions are positioned on both sides of the pole with the cross section along the line A-A therebetween as viewed in the axial direction. As the lever is rotatably operated in the tightening direction, the pressing position gradually approaches the central axis, thereby increasing the pressing force.05-28-2015

20150036464MODULATION APPARATUS, DEMODULATION APPARATUS, AUDIO TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, PROGRAM, AND DEMODULATION METHOD - A problem is to increase possibility of extracting data from sound in a system which transmits data using the sound as a transmission medium. Frames are transmitted while shifting the transmission timing among a plurality of frequency bands, whereby tolerance for multipath fading, noise mixing, or the like is obtained and improvement of a substantial transmission rate can be expected compared to a case where one frame is transmitted using only one frequency band. When selecting blocks forming a frame, since a block is selected under a condition that a time period necessary for collecting sound, on which the blocks to be selected are superimposed, becomes shorter, even if a phenomenon, in which a substantial rate of data transmission decreases, occurs, it becomes possible to suppress a decrease in rate.02-05-2015

20140260921ELECTRONIC PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT - An electronic percussion instrument includes a stand, a pad member with a head, and an impact sensor, a cover member, and a support member (e.g. a stay). The support member has an L-shape including a stand-attaching portion and a pad-attaching portion which are perpendicularly unified together at an inflection point. The stand-attaching portion is attached to the stand while the pad-attaching portion is attached to the pad member. The cover member is attached to the support member such that the cover member will not brought into contact with the pad member via a clearance which is maintained irrespective of an impact applied to the head with a beater. The pad-attaching portion is backwardly deflected about the inflection point relative to the stand-attaching portion due to an impact on the head. Thus, it is possible to reduce sound-box reverberations and to secure noiselessness.09-18-2014
20140260920ELECTRONIC PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT - An electronic percussion instrument includes a head, a frame, and an impact sensor. The back of the head is divided into a main area (e.g. a main strike area) and an auxiliary area. At least one connecting part is arranged above or below the main area in the back of the head and reduced in thickness compared to the auxiliary area, thus reducing vibration from being transmitted through the head. The impact sensor is attached to the back of the main strike area of the head via a cushion member. When the main strike area of the head is being struck with a beater, a vibration is caused to occur in the head and detected by the impact sensor to produce an electric signal which is used to generate an electronic musical sound while suppressing mechanical noise due to an impact between the beater and the head.09-18-2014
20140260919ELECTRONIC PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT - An electronic percussion instrument includes a stand, a support member (e.g. a stay), a pad member with a head, and an impact sensor. The support member has an L-shape including a stand-attaching portion and a pad-attaching portion. The stand-attaching portion is fixed to the stand while the pad-attaching portion is extended vertically from the front end of the stand-attaching portion at an inflection point. Owing to the elasticity of the support member, the pad-attaching portion is deflected about the inflection point in the rearward direction in comparison with the stand-attaching portion due to a striking force applied to the head being struck with a beater. Upon detecting an impact applied to the head, the impact sensor generates an electric signal so as to generate a musical sound. Thus, it is possible to suppress floor reverberation by absorbing an impact between the head and the beater via the support member.09-18-2014
20140260918ELECTRONIC PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT - An electronic percussion instrument includes a head, a frame, and an impact sensor, and a plate serving as a vibration-damping member. The plate is ring-shaped sheet, made of a harder material (e.g. a metal) than the head, with an elongated hole and attached to the head to encompass or sandwich the main strike area of the head, thus demonstrating a vibration-damping effect. When the main strike area of the head is being struck with a beater, a vibration is caused to occur in the head and detected by the impact sensor to produce an electric signal which is used to generate an electronic musical sound while the vibration-damping member suppresses vibration being transmitted through the head due to an impact of the beater on the head.09-18-2014
20140260917ELECTRONIC PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT - An electronic percussion instrument includes a head, a frame, and an impact sensor, and an air ventilation mechanism which includes a pair of cutouts which are distanced from each other and formed in the periphery of the head. Additionally, a pair of connecting parts with reduced thickness is linearly elongated across the back of the head in parallel. When the head is struck with a beater, a vibration is caused to occur in the head and detected by the impact sensor to produce an electric signal which is used to generate an electronic musical sound, wherein the air ventilation mechanism releases air from the back of the head so as to reliably secure noiselessness while reducing noise.09-18-2014

20130061734ACOUSTIC EFFECT IMPARTMENT APPARATUS, AND PIANO - An acoustic effect impartment apparatus detects striking of any one of strings by a corresponding hammer in an acoustic piano like a grand piano, and vibrates a vibration section with a driving waveform signal obtained by synthesizing sine wave signals of the fundamental frequency and harmonic frequency of the hammer-struck string.
