20160117010 | CONDUCTOR PATTERN STRUCTURE OF CAPACITIVE TOUCH PANEL - Disclosed is a conductor pattern structure of a capacitive touch panel. The structure contains two conductor assemblies with different directions, and each conductor assembly includes a number of conductive cells that are interconnected by conduction lines. Conductor assemblies with different directions are separated by an insulating material. An electrical field and induced capacitors are generated between adjacent conductor assemblies with different directions when giving control signals. Then the touched location is detected. The capacitive induced layer structure also contains a number of floating induced cells, distributed among the adjacent conductive cells. The floating induced cells generate new induced capacitors without connecting to any conduction lines and requiring any control signals. Therefore, the structure has advantages of improving the distribution of the electrical field and enlarging the touch sensing area. | 04-28-2016 |
20150255997 | SYSTEM OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN STACKED INTEGRATED CIRCUITS POWERED BY DIFFERENT VOLTAGE SUPPLY LEVELS IN MULTIPLE CELL-STACKED BATTERY PACK - A system of communication between stacked integrated circuits powered by different voltage supply levels in a multiple cell-stacked battery pack is disclosed. The system includes a number of battery cells and a number of integrated circuits. Each integrated circuit includes a battery detecting unit, a data transceiving unit and a power acquiring unit. Since the data transceiving unit transmits signals by toggling voltage level, current flow which causes higher power consumption can be avoided. Meanwhile, the system of communication can therefore be applied to many internal communicating protocols. | 09-10-2015 |
20150244193 | METHOD OF SEARCHING FOR FULL CHARGE CAPACITY OF STACKED RECHARGEABLE BATTERY CELLS IN RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PACK AND BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MADE OF THE SAME - A method of searching for full charge capacity of stacked battery cells in a rechargeable battery pack and a battery management system based on the method are disclosed. The method includes the steps of: predefining an end-of-discharge condition as a ratio of change of open-circuit cell voltage to change of state of charge; providing a full charge capacity for a rechargeable battery pack assembled of several stacked battery cells; charging the rechargeable battery pack until it is fully; discharging the rechargeable battery pack; measuring current values and open-circuit cell voltages periodically; processing coulomb counting based on the measured current values and zeroing a sum of coulomb counting values when a new discharging cycle begins; estimating state of charge during discharging periodically; calculating a running ratio; and updating the full charge capacity by the current sum of the coulomb counting values when the running ratio is equal to or greater than the end-of-discharge condition. | 08-27-2015 |
20150222137 | CONTROL METHOD FOR ACHIEVING POWER TRANSFER BETWEEN STACKED RECHARGEABLE BATTERY CELLS AND POWER TRANSFER CIRCUIT THEREOF - A control method for achieving power transfer between stacked rechargeable battery cells and a power transfer circuit are disclosed. The power transfer circuit includes an inductor, a first switch, a second switch and a controller. A loop of the rechargeable battery cell having higher power and the inductor is conducted so that the inductor stores power until the current flowing through the inductor meets the cutoff amount. Then, a loop of the rechargeable battery cell having lower power and the inductor is conducted so that the inductor releases the power saved in the inductor to the rechargeable battery cell having lower power until current flowing through the inductor changes direction. Therefore, balance between the rechargeable battery cells can be achieved. | 08-06-2015 |
20150221993 | MASTER-SLAVE TYPE BATTERY MANAGEMAENT SYSTEM FOR ACCURATE CAPACITY GUAGE OF BATTERY PACK - A master-slave type battery management system for accurate capacity gauge of battery packs is disclosed. It includes several battery management units linked to each other via a communication line. Each battery management unit is linked to a specified rechargeable battery set to manage the specified rechargeable battery set, detect a physical measurement data from the specified rechargeable battery set and calculates battery set capacity related value based on the physical measurement data. Each battery management unit has a unique battery ID. By assigning a battery management unit having a specified battery ID as a master battery management unit, the rest battery management units become slave battery management units. Each slave battery management unit sends the physical measurement data and battery set capacity related value to the master battery management unit via the communication line. The master battery management unit is in charge of calculating related values and transmitting them. | 08-06-2015 |
20120277931 | MICRO CONTROL UNIT FOR PROVIDING STABLE VOLTAGE OUTPUT TO ELECTRIC DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING ELECTRIC DEVICE - The present invention is to disclose a micro control unit for an electric device. It includes a charge pump regulator, connected to an external DC power source, for boosting and regulating voltage outputted from the DC power source; and a controller, switched between the external DC power source while a current of the DC power source is stable and the charge pump regulator while the current is unstable, for outputting a stable voltage to the electric device, thereby eliminating damage to the electric device caused by input surge current. | 11-01-2012 |
20100066444 | WIDE-RANGE AND HIGH-RESOLUTION PROGRAMMABLE GAIN AMPLIFIER - A first gain stage and a second gain stage having different gains are linked in cascade to construct a wide range and high resolution programmable gain amplifier. The second gain stage can be used only for low gain and low power consumption. Furthermore, two pairs of chopper circuits are used to shift flicker noise when the programmable gain amplifier is operated. | 03-18-2010 |
20090296780 | Temperature measuring system and measuring method using the same - A temperature measuring system and a measuring method using the same are disclosed. The method for measuring an integrated circuit temperature includes the steps of: detecting a first difference in output voltage values between a first transistor and a second transistor by providing a first current through the first transistor and a second current through the second transistor; detecting a second difference in output voltage values between the first transistor and the second transistor by providing the second current through the first transistor and the first current through the second transistor; obtaining an average value by averaging the first difference and the second difference; and determining the temperature by multiplying the average value with a predetermined value. | 12-03-2009 |
