The pulse circuit includes a pulse transformer that may be connected in series with the transmission lines or artificial lines with a turns ratio chosen to match the load impedance to primary circuit impedance or to generate the optimum pulsed voltage source. Multiple switches can be employed to increase the repetition frequency of the pulses.
