REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0001] The application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application No. 62/625,833, filed Feb. 2, 2018, which is incorporated herein in its entirety.
FIELD
[0002] The disclosure relates generally to a bag for carrying one or more items. The disclosure relates specifically to a bag, which may have a removable pouch.
BACKGROUND
[0003] Bags are useful for carrying one or more items and allowing an individual to have their hands free. Many activities or events require that bags be clear in order to minimize the bringing of harmful items into the event. For example, the National Football League (NFL) currently has a policy that limits the size and type of bag that may be brought into a stadium. The current policy of the NFL is for the bags to be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12''.times.6''.times.12''; a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag; or small clutch bag, approximately the size of a hand with one of the clear plastic bags. The National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) required that bags being brought in the Final Four be a 12''.times.6''.times.12'' clear plastic bag; a gallon clear plastic storage bag; or small clutch bag (5.5''.times.8.5'' or smaller). The clear bag expedites fan entry by decreasing the amount of time needed for personnel to search bags.
[0004] The clear plastic bags available often do not contain compartments for cell phones, mobile devices, or personal items. They are also not conducive to having a secure attachment to the person. The current plastic bags may not be logically segmented to provide ease of storage of personal items or a mobile device with a separate access to the mobile device while still safely secured to the person carrying the plastic bag.
[0005] In addition, such bags while they may offer the ability for personal expression or to show team spirit, are often not aesthetically pleasing.
[0006] It would be advantageous to have an aesthetically pleasing bag that is capable of carrying one or more items, including a cell phone or mobile device and a removable pouch for personal items.

[0021] The following definitions and explanations are meant and intended to be controlling in any future construction unless clearly and unambiguously modified in the following examples or when application of the meaning renders any construction meaningless or essentially meaningless. In cases where the construction of the term would render it meaningless or essentially meaningless, the definition should be taken from Webster's Dictionary 3.sup.rd Edition.
[0022] Transparent, as used herein, means allowing light to pass through so that objects behind can be distinctly seen. Transparency requirements, as used herein, are transparency requirements of various entities, such as the National Football League,
[0023] Elasticity, as used herein, means the ability of an object or material to resume its normal shape after being stretched or compressed.
[0024] Disclosed herein is a bag that is capable of carrying one or more items, including a cell phone or mobile device and a removable pouch for personal items. Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, in an embodiment, the bag 10 comprises two handles 15, 16, one of which is longer than the other, for example, the handle 15 is longer than the handle 16. In some embodiments, each handle comprises an opening. Referring to FIG. 2, in an embodiment, two mirror symmetrical trapezoidal sides 151, 152 of the handle 15 form an opening 21, two mirror symmetrical trapezoidal sides 161, 162 of the handle 16 form an opening 22. Referring to FIG. 6, in an embodiment, the longer handle 15 can be inserted through the opening 22 in the shorter handle. Referring to FIG. 8, in an embodiment, the portion of the longer handle 15 extending from the opening 22 in the short handle can be place over an individual's wrist 50. In an embodiment, the handles 15, 16 comprise a material that possesses elasticity. In an embodiment, the edges of the handle portion are rounded. In an embodiment, the material is neoprene. A body portion 12 seamed to handles 15, 16 forms a chamber 23 to accommodate items such as a removable pouch 30. The chamber 23 has an opening 24 between the handles 15 and 16 through which items can be placed. In an embodiment, at least a portion of the body portion 12 is transparent. In an embodiment, the body portion 12 can include two or more layers to form a plurality of chambers, the chambers can have same volumes or different volumes. In an embodiment, the handle portion on the side of the bag with the short handle ends higher than on the side with the longer handle.
[0025] In an embodiment, the bag 10 includes a removable pouch 30. In an embodiment, the bag 10 and removable pouch 30 can be separated to allow an individual to use different pouches and different bags together or to carry the bag or removable pouch separately.
[0026] Referring to FIGS. 1-7, in an embodiment, one of the handles, for example, handle 16 comprises a slot 17 through which a cell phone 40 or mobile device can be placed in a chamber 18. In an embodiment, the cell phone 40 or mobile device can be used while still present in the cell phone or mobile device compartment. In an embodiment, the slot 17 through which to place the cell phone or mobile device is slanted. In an embodiment, the slant is such that the left-hand portion of the opening is higher than the right-hand opening.
[0027] In an embodiment, the bag comprises a vertical seam 25 to limit the volume of the chamber 18. In an embodiment, the seam is a heat-sealed seam. In an embodiment, the vertical seam 25 is slightly offset towards the cell phone or mobile device chamber. In an embodiment, the cell phone or mobile device portion is comprised of two or more layers. In an embodiment, the remainder of the bag is comprised of one or more layers. In an embodiment, the placement of the vertical seam allows for the bag to fold over itself. In an embodiment, the cell phone or mobile device compartment partially folds over the other portion of the bag.
[0028] In an embodiment, the transparent portion of the bag are heat sealed along the outer circumference. In an embodiment, the handle portions are stitched along the outer edges.

The connection structure 14 is stitched along the outer edges of the body portion 12 of the bag. In addition, while in an embodiment an attachment for the seam 27 between the body portion 12 and the connection structure 14 is sewing, other methods including but not limited to adhesive can be used.
[0031] In an embodiment, the seam 27 between the transparent portion 25 and the connection structure 14 is a horizontal straight seam, which means both the bottom of the connection structure 14 and the top of the transparent portion 12 of the bag are horizontal straight. One of the benefits of this kind of structure is easy fabrication. In another embodiment, the seam 27 between the transparent portion and the whole structure has a curved shape with the convex curve of the top of the body portion 12 and the concave curve of the bottom of the connection structure 14. The pull force between the transparent portion 12 and the connection structure 14 distributes alone the seam 27. Because the length of the curved shape seam is greater than that of the horizontal straight seam, if withstanding the same pull, the force on unit length of curved shape seam will be less than that of straight seam, such that the bag can stand wear and tear.
[0032] It is a benefit of the bag disclosed herein that it is capable of fitting wrists of a variety of sizes, especially related to circumference.
[0033] In an embodiment, the color of the handles can be used to show team spirit. In an embodiment, the material of which the handles are comprised is one or more of the team colors.
