Description:

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to an architectural finishing structure for beautifully decorating an interior wall.

BACKGROUND ART

[0002] Recently, various interior decorations, such as replacement of furniture, installation of props, attachment of wallpaper or sheets onto a wall, or the like, are employed.

[0003] Attaching the wallpaper or sheet to the wall is the most popular one of the above interior decorations. In the case of attaching the wallpaper or sheet to the wall, customers will easily tire of the interior decoration due to the limit to expression of materials and the two-dimensional designs. Art walls are recently built by attaching real finishing materials, such as tiles, wood, stones, or synthetic resin, onto the whole or partial wall of the interior, or other finishing material similar to the real one to the wall.

[0004] In order to simply decorate the wall and make better use of a space, an art wall configured to install shelves to display objects thereon is disclosed in Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2008-0092743 (published on Oct. 16, 2008) entitled "wall finishing system and method of assembling the same".

[0005] The wall finishing system of the related art includes a coupling channel having a coupling plane extending vertically to be brought into contact with a wall and a protrusion coupler protruding from a side of the coupling plane to front of the wall and then extending laterally; and a planar panel having a lateral end parallel with the coupling channel in a vertical direction and a panel coupler engaged to only a rear surface of the lateral end and located at an inside of the lateral end so as to be engaged to the protrusion coupler of the coupling channel.

[0006] In the configuration of the wall finishing system according to the related art, the channel attached to the wall is provided with a hanging coupler with holes, and the shelves are hung from the hole of the hanging coupler.

[0007] However, the wall finishing system according to the related art has problems in that simple shelves can be hung from the wall, but a user cannot directly decorate customized shelves to his or her tastes, in that since the shelves are supported between the panels, a supporting force is decreased, and in that the panel is released due to movement of the shelves.

[0008] Also, since installation of the shelves is restricted, there is no good fit between the shelves and the panels, thereby lowering an aesthetic impression on the interior.

DISCLOSURE

Technical Problem

[0009] Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an art wall for customized installation of shelves which can allow people of all ages to easily decouple or couple the shelves at different locations, firmly support the shelves, improve an aesthetic impression on the interior by installing the shelves in various patterns, and provide an aesthetic sense even though the shelves are removed from the art wall.

Technical Solution

[0010] To accomplish the above-mentioned objects, there is provided an art wall for customized installation of shelves including: a plurality of guide members which are spaced from each other and installed to a wall and are provided with a plurality of bracket fitting holes in a longitudinal direction; a wall finishing material which is interposed between the plurality of guide members to cover the wall; a shelf which is detachably engaged to the guide members, so that an object is placed on the shelf; a fixing bracket which is engaged to the shelf to fix the shelf to the guide members, and is provided with a protruding boss to be fitted into the bracket fitting holes; and a bracket coupler configured to detachably engage the shelf to the fixing bracket.

[0011] The guide member may have support ribs which protrude in a direction opposite to the wall from both sides of the bracket fitting holes, the fixing bracket being interposed between and supported by the support ribs, and an end of the wall finishing material is supported by an outer side of each support rib.

[0012] The guide member may have finishing material seating portions which are positioned at both sides of the bracket fitting holes and extend from both sides, the wall finishing material being seated on the finishing material seating portions, a wall contact portion which is brought into contact with the wall to secure the guide member to the wall, and a connecting portion configured to connect the wall contact portion and the finishing material seating portion.

[0013] The wall contact portion may be provided with a protruding rib protruding from the wall contact portion along a longitudinal direction thereof to provide the guide member with rigidity and thus prevent the guide member from being bent.

[0014] A length of the support rib may be longer than a distance between the support ribs.

[0015] The bracket coupler may have a shelf fitting part which protrude laterally from the fixing bracket and are fitted into the shelf, and a bracket fitting member which is fixed to each of fitting member seating recesses formed on both sides of the shelf, in which the shelf fitting part is detachably engaged to the fitting member seating recess. The bracket fitting member may have a sliding hole along which the shelf fitting part is slid, and a resiliently locking portion configured to reduce a width of the sliding hole to lock the shelf fitting part which is slid along the sliding hole.

[0016] The shelf fitting part may have a head portion which is formed to have a circumference larger than that of the shelf fitting part, and the sliding hole is formed in such a way that one end is formed to have a size capable of receiving the head portion and the other end is formed to have a size equal to the circumference of the shelf fitting part, so that a size of the sliding hole is gradually decreased from one end to the other end.

[0017] The shelf may have a shelf cabinet capable of closing a receiving space which is formed in the shelf cabinet, and a bracket which hangs an object.

Advantageous Effects

[0018] According to the present invention, since the fixing bracket is easily attached to or detached from the shelf by the bracket coupler, a user can easily couple or decouple the shelves, without distinction of sex or age, to carry out the customized installation.

[0019] Also, the guide member is provided with the support ribs to firmly support the fixing brackets. The bracket fitting holes, to which the fixing brackets are fixed, are not exposed to the outside, thereby providing neat aesthetic sense.

[0020] Further, the shelves are customized-installed to improve the aesthetic impression on the interior.

[0021] In addition, even though the shelves are removed from the guide members, the wall finishing material can improve the aesthetic impression on the interior.

MODE FOR INVENTION

[0053] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0054] As illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6, an art wall 100 for customized installation of shelves according to the embodiment of the present invention may include a guide member 110.

[0055] The guide member 110 can fix the wall finishing material 120 and a shelf 130 to a wall W.

[0056] A plurality of guide members 110 can be spaced from each other and installed to the wall W in a vertical direction.

[0057] The wall W is a concrete wall, and if a surface of the concrete wall is not uniform, a finishing material, such as a plaster board or plywood, is attached to the surface of the concrete wall. In this instance, the wall may be an outer surface of the finishing material.

[0058] The guide member 110 may be provided with bracket fitting holes 111.

[0059] A fixing bracket 140 which will be described later may be fitted and fixed to the bracket fitting holes 111. The bracket fitting holes 111 may be formed in such a way that a plurality of bracket fitting holes are spaced apart from each other along a longitudinal direction of the guide member 110.

[0060] The guide member 110 may be formed in a bilateral symmetric shape around the bracket fitting holes 111.

[0061] The guide member 110 may have a finishing material seating portion 112.

[0062] The wall finishing material 120 for finishing the wall W may be seated on the finishing material seating portion 112. The finishing material seating portions 112 may be positioned at both sides of the bracket fitting holes 111. Both ends of the wall finishing material are seated on an outer surface of the finishing material seating portion 112.

[0063] The guide member 110 may have a wall contact portion 113.

[0064] The wall contact portion 113 is brought into contact with the wall W to secure the guide member 110 to the wall W.

[0065] The wall contact portion 113 may be disposed at both sides of the guide member 110 around the bracket fitting holes 111, and each wall contact portion 113 is provided with a plurality of fixing holes 113a spaced apart from each other along the longitudinal direction of the guide member 110, to which a fixing member for fixing the guide member 110 to the wall is fitted.

[0066] The wall contact portion 113 may be provided with a protruding rib 115 protruding from the wall contact portion 113 along the longitudinal direction thereof to provide rigidity and thus prevent the guide member from being bent in a shelf installing direction due to the weight of the shelves 130 when the shelves 130 are coupled to the guide member 110 engaged to the wall W in the vertical direction. A plurality of protruding ribs 115 may be formed on each wall contact portion 113.

[0067] The guide member 110 may be provided with a connecting portion 114.

[0068] The connecting portion 114 connects each wall contact portion 113 and the finishing material seating portion 112 so that the wall contact portion 113 is brought into contact with the wall W and the finishing material seating portion 112 is spaced apart from the wall W.

[0069] The connecting portion 114 extends in a vertical direction from an end of each finishing material seating portion 112 to face the wall W, and an end of the wall contact portion 113 is connected to an end of the connecting portion 114 so that the wall contact portion 113 is positioned at an outside of the connecting portion 114.

[0070] Since the finishing material portion 112 is formed to protrude from the wall W by the connecting portion 113, the guide member 110 has the rigidity to support the loads of the shelves. Preferably, a distance of the finishing material seating portion 112 spaced apart from the wall W by the connecting portion 114 is set to reach an interface between an adhesive 125 and the wall finishing material 120.

[0071] The guide member 110 may have support ribs 116.

[0072] The support ribs 116 support both sides of the fixing bracket 140 fitted to the bracket fitting holes 111, and also support the ends of the wall finishing material seated on the finishing material seating portion 112.

[0073] The support ribs 116 may protrude in a direction opposite to the wall W from both sides of the bracket fitting holes 111, with the bracket fitting holes being interposed between the support ribs. A protruding length L2 of the support rib 116 is longer than a width L1 of the bracket fitting hole 111. The support rib 116 may be formed of a thickness equal to or less than that of the wall finishing material 120 seated on the finishing material seating portion 112 (see FIG. 5).

[0074] If the support rib 116 is formed to be longer than the width of the bracket fitting hole 111, the bracket fitting holes 111 become hidden by a shadow of the support rib 116. When the art wall 100 is seen from the outside, the bracket fitting holes 111 do not come into sight, thereby improving the aesthetic impression on the guide member.

[0075] A gap of the support ribs 116 may be about 5 mm in view of fitting of the fixing bracket 140. Since the gap is similar to a size (3 mm) of a general joint, it is possible to improve the aesthetic impression on the guide member (the term "joint" herein means an interval between the wall finishing material 120 and an adjacent wall finishing material 120).

[0076] With the above configuration, the guide member 110 can be fixed to the wall W by securing fixing members, for example, bolts, nails or screw anchors, to the wall in the state in which the wall contact portion 113 is brought into contact with the wall W to which the art wall 100 is installed.

[0077] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the art wall 100 for customized installation of the shelves according to the embodiment of the present invention may include the wall finishing material 120.

[0078] The wall finishing material 120 can cover the wall W to improve the aesthetic impression on the indoor.

[0079] Both ends of the wall finishing material 120 can be seated on the guide seating portion of each guide member 110 in such a way as to connect one guide member 110 and the adjacent guide member 110 among the guide members 110 which are installed to the wall.

[0080] The guide member 110 may have a horizontal length equal to a distance between the support rib 116 of one guide member 110 and the opposite support rib 116 of the adjacent support rib 110.

[0081] In other words, the guide member 110 can be formed of a size so that both ends of the wall finishing material 120 can be supported on the opposite support ribs 116 of the spaced guide members 110.

[0082] The wall finishing material 120 can be made of stone, tile, wood, metal, synthetic resin, etc. in the shape of a plate. An outer surface of the wall finishing material 120 may be formed with a desired pattern according to the interior design, and can be realized as various known finishing materials for architecture.

[0083] For example, the wall finishing material 120 can be made of marble, which is a kind of stone, to provide a luxurious sense of beauty, and can be made of the tile with a marble pattern, which is different from marble, to provide the sense of beauty like the marble.

[0084] A plurality of wall finishing materials 120 may be installed side by side along the longitudinal direction of the guide member 110, or may be formed to have different horizontal length in order to improve the aesthetic impression on the interior design.

[0085] Meanwhile, the wall finishing material 120 may be formed of a size to cover the whole area between a pair of guide members 110 installed to the wall W.

[0086] The wall finishing material 120 may be seated on the finishing material seating portions 112 in a state of being spaced apart from the wall W, and an adhesive may be applied between the wall W and the wall finishing material 120.

[0087] For example, if the wall finishing material 120 is made of the tile, the adhesive 125 may be a tile glue.

[0088] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, the art wall 100 for customized installation of the shelves according to the embodiment of the present invention may include the shelf 130.

[0089] The shelf 130 is installed to the front surface of the wall W to display or store various objects, such as ornaments, books, pots, etc.

[0090] The shelf 130 includes a planar shelf, a latticed shelf, a shelf cabinet 130' with a door to close a receiving space formed in the shelf cabinet, and various brackets which can hang or display, for example, a flat TV.

[0091] Also, several kinds of shelves 130 can be installed to one wall W.

[0092] As illustrated in FIG. 7, the art wall 100 for customized installation of the shelves according to the embodiment of the present invention may include the fixing brackets 140.

[0093] The fixing brackets 140 can fix the shelf to the guide member 110.

[0094] The fixing brackets 140 are detachably engaged to both sides of the shelf 130 to couple the shelf 130 to the guide member 110. Plural fixing brackets 140 may be arranged in a vertical direction of the shelf 130 according to the size of the shelf 130 and the weight of the object to be received.

[0095] The fixing bracket 140 may be formed in the shape of a plate, and may have fitting bosses 141.

[0096] The fitting bosses 141 are formed on an end of the fixing bracket 140 to be fitted to the bracket fitting holes 111 of the guide member 110, so that the fixing bracket 140 can be detachably engaged to the guide member 110.

[0097] The fitting boss 141 is formed in an L-shape so that the fitting boss is hooked to the bracket fitting hole 111. At least two fitting bosses 141 are spaced from each other and formed on the end of the fixing bracket in a vertical direction so that two fitting bosses are simultaneously fitted to the bracket fitting holes 111 (see FIG. 4).

[0098] A corner formed by the fixing bracket 140 and the shelf 130 when the fixing bracket 140 is engaged to the shelf 130 may be provided with a protective cap (not shown) to prevent a user from being wounded by the corner of the shelf 130.

[0099] As illustrated in FIG. 9, the art wall 100 for customized installation of the shelves according to the embodiment of the present invention may include a bracket coupler 170.

[0100] The bracket coupler 170 allows the fixing bracket 140 to detachably engage to the shelf 130.

[0101] The bracket coupler 170 may have a shelf fitting part 171.

[0102] A plurality of shelf fitting parts 171 protrude outwardly from the side of the fixing bracket 140 in a direction perpendicular to the fixing bracket 140, and are fitted into the shelf 130, thereby engaging the shelf 130 to the fixing bracket 140.

[0103] In the case where shelves 130 are engaged to both sides of the fixing bracket 140, the shelf fitting parts 171 may protrude from both sides of the fixing bracket 140 (see FIG. 7b).

[0104] The shelf fitting part 171 may be formed in the shape of a cylinder on both sides of the fixing bracket 140, and a head portion 171a is formed on an end of the cylinder to have a circumference larger than that of the bracket coupler 170. The shelf fitting part 171 can be engaged to the fixing bracket 140 in a direction perpendicular to the fixing bracket 140 so that the head portion 171a is disposed at the outside of the fixing bracket 140.

[0105] The shelf fitting part 171 may be engaged to the fixing bracket 140 by welding or fastening means such as bolt. In the case where the bracket couplers 170 are disposed at both sides of the fixing bracket 140, a fastening means penetrates the bracket coupler 170 positioned at one side and then is fastened to the bracket coupler 170 positioned at the other side, in the state in which the bracket couplers 170 positioned at both sides of the fixing bracket 140.

[0106] As illustrated in FIGS. 8 to 11, the bracket coupler 170 may have a bracket fitting member 180.

[0107] The bracket fitting member 180 is fixed to the shelf 130, and the shelf fitting part 171 fastened to the fixing bracket 140 is engaged to the bracket fitting member 180.

[0108] The shelf 130 is provided with a fitting member seating recess 131 at a position where the shelf fitting part 171 is engaged, and the bracket fitting member 180 is seated on the fitting member seating recess 131. The bracket fitting member 180 is fixed to the shelf 130 by the fastening means, such as a bolt.

[0109] The bracket fitting member 180 may be provided with an elongated sliding hole 181, and the shelf fitting part 171 is slid along the sliding hole 181, so that the shelf 130 is slid in a forward or backward direction from the wall finishing material 120 to be fitted to the fixing bracket 140.

[0110] The sliding hole 181 may be provided with a resiliently locking portion 183.

[0111] Supposing that the shelf fitting part 171 is slid from one end of the sliding hole 181 to the other end and then is locked to the other end, the resiliently locking portion 183 protrudes inwardly from the sliding hole 181 so that an interval of the other end becomes narrow. Therefore, when the shelf fitting part 171 is positioned at the other end, the position of the shelf fitting part 171 can be locked.

[0112] For example, as illustrated in FIG. 11, when the shelf fitting part 171 is fitted to the sliding hole 181 and then is slid to the other end, the interval of the resiliently locking portion 183 is widened by the shelf fitting part 171 passing through the resiliently locking portion 183, since the resiliently locking portion 183 has a resilient force. After the shelf fitting part 171 is slid beyond the resiliently locking portion 183, the interval of the resiliently locking portion 183 becomes again narrow, thereby locking the position of the shelf fitting part 171.

[0113] The sliding hole 181 may be formed in such a way that the interval becomes gradually narrow from one end to the other end. One end of the sliding hole 181 is formed to have a size so that the head portion 171a can be inserted into the sliding hole 181, and the other end is formed to have a size so that the shelf fitting part 171 having the circumference smaller than that of the head portion 171a.

[0114] The bracket fitting member 180 may have a head guide groove 185.

[0115] The head guide groove 185 is formed on the side (a side opposite to the insertion direction of the shelf fitting part 171 to one end of the sliding hole 181) of the bracket fitting member 180 provided with the sliding hole 181 to guide movement of the head portion 171a, and when the shelf fitting part 171 is positioned at the other end of the sliding hole 181, the head portion 171a prevents the shelf fitting member 171 from being released from the sliding hole 181.

[0116] For example, since the sliding hole 181 becomes gradually narrow from the one end to the other end, if the shelf fitting member 171 is positioned at the other end of the sliding hole 181, the head portion 171a is caught by the head guide groove 185, and thus is not released in a direction opposite to the insertion direction, thereby preventing the shelf fitting member 171 from being released from the sliding hole 181.

[0117] The operation and effects of the respective components described above will now be described.

[0118] According to the art wall 100 for customized installation of the shelves according to the embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of guide members 110 are installed to the wall W in the vertical direction at regular intervals.

[0119] If the wall W is not even, a finishing material, such as a plaster board or plywood, can be installed to the wall, and then the guide members 110 can be installed to an outer surface of the finishing material.

[0120] In order to cover the wall W, the wall finishing material 120 is interposed between one guide member 110 and the adjacent guide member 110 among the plurality of guide members 110.

[0121] After the adhesive 125 is applied on the rear surface of the wall finishing material 120, the wall W is finished by placing both ends of the wall finishing material 120 on the finishing material seating portion 112 of each guide member 110.

[0122] In the case where two shelves 130 are connected to each other, each shelf 130 can be engaged to both sides of the fixing bracket 140 with the shelf fitting members 171 at both sides thereof (see FIGS. 7b and 10).

[0123] When the shelf 130 is engaged to the fixing bracket 140, the shelf or the fixing bracket 140 is slid in the state in which the shelf fitting member 171 of the fixing bracket 140 is fitted to the sliding hole 181 of the bracket fitting member 180 which is engaged to the shelf 130.

[0124] The sliding hole 181 is formed in such a way that the interval becomes gradually narrow toward the other end, and is provided with the resiliently locking portion 183. If the shelf fitting member 171 is positioned at the other end of the sliding hole 181, the position of the shelf fitting member is locked. And, the head portion 171a is caught by the head guide groove 185, so that the shelf fitting member 171 is firmly fixed not to be released outwardly.

[0125] When the shelf 130 is replaced or the position of the shelf 130 is changed, the shelf 130 and the fixing bracket 140 are separated from the guide member 110, and then the fixing bracket 140 is slid and separated from the shelf 130 in a direction opposite to the engaging direction thereof. The fixing bracket 140 is slid and engaged to a new shelf 130, and the fixing bracket 140 is fixed to the position of a new guide member 110.

[0126] Therefore, the art wall 100 for customized installation of the shelves according to the embodiment of the present invention can install the shelves 130 for receiving various objects at various positions according to the user's taste to make better use of a space, and further improve the aesthetic impression on the interior, as well as improving the sense of beauty for the wall finishing material 120.

[0127] Also, since the fixing bracket 140 is easily attached to or detached from the shelf 130, and the fixing bracket 140 is easily fitted to the guide member 110, the user can install the shelves 130 to his or her lifestyle without distinction of sex or age.

[0128] Further, the guide member 110 is provided with the support ribs 116 to firmly support the shelves. Innumerable bracket fitting holes 111 do not easily outstand, thereby improving the aesthetic impression on the guide member.

[0129] Furthermore, even though the shelves 130 are removed from the guide members, the wall finishing material 120 can improve the aesthetic impression on the interior.

[0130] While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
