Abstract:

A restickable or reattachable mirror is provided. The mirror can be attached to, removed from and reattached to an electronic consumer product multiples times without leaving any perceivable residue. The mirror has a frame for providing a rear surface and a recess. A mirror part is mounted into the recess. An adhesive coating is applied to the rear surface of the mirror for allowing the mirror to be restickable. The frame also has a front surface in the form of a continuous stripe surrounding the mirror part. A plurality of decorates can be formed on the front surface.

Claims:

1. A restickable mirror used with an electronic consume product, comprising: a frame, wherein the frame defines a rear surface and a recess; a mirror part mounted into the recess; an adhesive coating applied to the rear surface of the mirror for allowing the mirror to be restickably attached to a surface of the electronic consume product.

2. The restickable mirror according to claim 1, wherein the frame further defines a front surface that is in the form of a continuous stripe surrounding the mirror part, wherein the mirror further comprises a plurality of decorates formed on the front surface.

3. The restickable mirror according to claim 2, wherein the front surface has a shape that is selected from a group consisting of rectangular, square, oval and heart.

Description:

BACKGROUND

[0001] This disclosure relates to a restickable or reattachable mirror that can be used with an electronic consumer product, including but not limited to smart phones, tablets, media players, PDAs and the like. More specifically, the disclosure relates to a restickable or reattachable mirror that can be attached to, removed from and reattached to the electronic consumer product multiples times without leaving any perceivable residue.

SUMMARY

[0002] The restickable mirror provides a convenient replacement of a pocket mirror or a bag mirror, which saves a user from the trouble of searching the user's pockets or bags. The restickable mirror is typically tightly attached to a surface of the electronic consumer product or an external surface of a casing of the electronic consumer product to provide the normal functions of a mirror. The restickable mirror can be attached to any suitable surface of the electronic consumer product or any suitable external surface of the casing of the electronic consumer product. The restickable mirror can be reused with all brands and materials of the casing or cover of the electronic devices. For example, the restickable mirror can be attached to a rear surface of a case of a smart phone. For example, before the user intends to take his/her own photos (also known as "selfie") using the smart phone, the user may want to check make-up or hair. Instead of searching for a pocket mirror, the user can simply turn his/her smart phone around and use the restickable mirror, which saves the user's time and also provides convenience to the user.

[0003] Furthermore, the restickable mirror can be reused. The restickable mirror has an adhesive coating, which can be provided on the rear surface of the mirror. The adhesive coating is properly selected to allow the restickable mirror to be tightly attached to, readily removed from and tightly reattached to different electronic devices or casings of the electronic devices, without leaving any perceivable residue. For example, as the user obtain a new smart phone, the user can still keep the restickable mirror and use it with the new phone. The adhesive of the coating is a restickable adhesive that is customized for the restickable mirror.

[0004] In addition, the restickable mirror provides decorations to the electronic device and thus, enhances the aesthetics of the electronic device. The restickable mirror can be of any suitable shape, color or size. For example, the restickable mirror includes a peripheral frame, which can be designed to show diamond-like ornaments that can be of any suitable color. The shape of the peripheral frame can be various, which includes but is not limited to oval, round, square, rectangle, triangle or any suitable polygon. The profile of the peripheral frame can be curvy, straight or the combination thereof. The profile and shape of the peripheral frame can also be representative of a letter, a number or the combination thereof. The frame can be made of any suitable material, such as, metals or plastics.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS

[0016] For clarity, the disclosure applies like reference numerals to like structures throughout the figures. Moreover, terms used for structures and elements of the embodiments are given their common meaning unless otherwise defined herein.

[0017] FIGS. 1-4 depict a restickable mirror 100, according to the first embodiment of the disclosure. The restickable mirror 100 includes a peripheral frame 120, which provides a rear surface and a recess of the mirror. A mirror part 140 can be mounted into the recess of the mirror and substantially surrounded by the frame 120. The frame 120 is provided with a plurality of ornaments 160, as shown. For example, the frame 120 can be formed to show a silver plated frame; the ornaments 160 can be designed and formed to show a plurality of crystal-like articles. The ornaments 160 can have any suitable color, including blue, silver, pink, red and so on.

[0018] The frame 120, the mirror part 140 and the ornaments 160 together provide novel and ornamental features to the restickable mirror 100. As shown in this embodiment, the frame 120 is substantially square having four sides substantially equal to each other.

[0019] The restickable mirror 100 also includes an adhesive coating 180, which is provided on the rear surface of the restickable mirror 100. The adhesive coating 180 is properly selected to allow the restickable mirror to be tightly attached to, readily removed from and tightly reattached to the casing of an electronic device, without leaving any perceivable residue.

[0020] FIGS. 5-8 depict a restickable mirror 200, according a second embodiment of the disclosure. The restickable mirror 200 includes a peripheral frame 220, a mirror part 240 surrounded by the frame 220 and an adhesive coating 260. The mirror part and the adhesive coating can be the same as those of the first embodiment. In the second embodiment, the frame 220 is plain, without any ornaments, as shown. The plain frame 220 and the mirror part 240 together provide novel and ornamental features to the restickable mirror 200. As shown in this embodiment, the frame 220 is substantially square having four sides substantially equal to each other.

[0021] FIG. 9 depicts a restickable mirror 300, according a third embodiment of the disclosure. The restickable mirror 300 includes a rectangular frame 320. The restickable mirror 300 also includes a mirror part and an adhesive coating, which can be the same as those of the first embodiment.

[0022] FIG. 10 depicts a restickable mirror 400, according a fourth embodiment of the disclosure. The restickable mirror 400 includes an oval frame 420. The restickable mirror 400 also includes a mirror part and an adhesive coating, which can be the same as those of the first embodiment.

[0023] The described embodiments of the present invention are intended to be illustrative rather than restrictive, and are not intended to represent every embodiment of the present invention.
