Abstract:
A sight structure of the invention includes a seat; a lens mounted to the
seat and comprising a surface; a plurality of electrodes disposed on the
surface to form an aiming pattern and connected to a power source; and a
light emitting member disposed on the surface and connected to the
electrodes, wherein the light emitting member emits light when the power
source provides power for the electrodes.Claims:
1. A sight structure, comprising: a seat; a lens mounted to the seat and
comprising a surface; a plurality of electrodes disposed on the surface
to form an aiming pattern and connected to a power source; and a light
emitting member disposed on the surface and connected to the electrodes,
wherein the light emitting member emits light when the power source
provides power for the light emitting member through the electrodes.
2. The sight structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lens further comprises a groove formed on the surface by etching, the groove has a shape corresponding to the aiming pattern, and electrical conductive material is filled into the groove to form the electrodes.
3. The sight structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein electrical conductive material is coated on the surface to form the electrodes so as to form the aiming pattern.
4. The sight structure as claimed in claim 3, wherein the aiming pattern is a reticle.
5. The sight structure as claimed in claim 4, wherein the light emitting member is disposed at a center of the reticle.
6. The sight structure as claimed in claim 5, wherein the electrodes on two opposite sides of the light emitting member have different polarities.
7. The sight structure as claimed in claim 2, wherein the aiming pattern is a reticle.
8. The sight structure as claimed in claim 7, wherein the light emitting member is disposed at a center of the reticle.
9. The sight structure as claimed in claim 8, wherein the electrodes on two opposite sides of the light emitting member have different polarities.
10. The sight structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the aiming pattern is a reticle.
11. The sight structure as claimed in claim 10, wherein the light emitting member is disposed at a center of the reticle.
12. The sight structure as claimed in claim 11, wherein the electrodes on two opposite sides of the light emitting member have different polarities.
13. The sight structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the light emitting member emits white light.
14. The sight structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the light emitting member emits light at the time that the power source provides power for the electrodes.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] The invention relates to a sight structure, and more particularly to a sight structure including an aiming pattern which actively emits light.
[0003] 2. Description of the Related Art
[0004] Referring to FIGS. 1 A and 1B, a conventional sight includes a lens 10. The lens 10 has a surface 12 on which an aiming pattern 14 is formed. The aiming pattern 14 is, for example, a reticle. In operation, light from an external light source enters the lens 10 through an entrance 16 to illuminate the aiming pattern 14. The aiming pattern 14 becomes visible by reflecting the light to a user. The sight can be used even at night or in dim light. The aiming pattern 14 shows different colors through illuminating light of different colors.
[0005] In the described structure, an external light source is necessary to provide light illuminating the aiming pattern 14, and light loss may happen when the light is introduced into the lens 10 and thus may cause insufficient brightness problem.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0006] The invention provides a sight structure. The sight structure in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the invention includes a seat; a lens mounted to the seat and comprising a surface; a plurality of electrodes disposed on the surface to form an aiming pattern and connected to a power source; and a light emitting member disposed on the surface and connected to the electrodes, wherein the light emitting member emits light when the power source provides power for the electrodes.
[0007] In another exemplary embodiment, the lens further includes a groove formed on the surface by etching, the groove has a shape corresponding to the aiming pattern, and electrical conductive material is filled into the groove to form the electrodes.
[0008] In yet another exemplary embodiment, electrical conductive material is coated on the surface to form the electrodes so as to form the aiming pattern.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0021] The following description is of the best-contemplated mode of carrying out the invention. This description is made for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention and should not be taken in a limiting sense. The scope of the invention is best determined by reference to the appended claims.
[0022] Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, a sight structure of the invention includes a seat (not shown), a lens 100, electrodes 120 and 140 and a light emitting member 200. The lens 100 is mounted to the seat and includes a surface 110. The electrodes 120 and 140 are formed on the surface 110. The electrode 120 is connected to an anode of a power source 300, and the electrode 140 is connected to a cathode of a power source 300. The electrodes 120 and 140 form an aiming pattern. In this embodiment, the aiming pattern is a reticle. The light emitting member 200 is disposed at a center of the reticle. The electrodes 120 and 140 are disposed on two opposite sides of the light emitting member 200 and connected to the light emitting member 200 respectively. The electrode 120 constitutes a set of two adjacent arms of the reticle, and the electrode 140 constitutes another set of two adjacent arms of the reticle. Thus, the light emitting member 200 emits light when current flows to the light emitting member 200 through the electrodes 120 and 140. Specifically, the light emitting member 200 emits light at the time or after the time that current flows to the light emitting member 200 through the electrodes 120 and 140.
[0023] In one embodiment, electrical conductive material is coated on the surface 110 to form the electrodes 120 and 140 so as to form the aiming pattern. In another embodiment, a groove is formed on the surface 110 by etching, and the groove has a shape corresponding to the aiming pattern. Afterwards, electrical conductive material is filled into the groove to form the electrodes 120 and 140.
[0024] In this embodiment, the light emitting member 200 emits white light. However, the invention is not limited thereto. On the contrary, different light emitting member 200 emitting different color light can be used according to requirements. For example, a plurality of light emitting members 200 can be utilized and controlled by an integrated circuit and programs. The light emitting members 200 can be disposed in different positions on the lens 100 to emit different color light for providing different functions and meanings
[0025] In the invention, the light emitting member 200 is disposed on the surface 110 of the lens 100 and the aiming pattern is composed of the electrodes 120 and 140. Thus, no external light source is needed, the size of the sight structure can be reduced, and a higher brightness can be provided. In addition, a plurality of light emitting members 200 can be disposed in different positions of the lens 100 to provide different functions.
