Description:
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to an auger, particularly to an anti-segregation auger and a paver with the anti-segregation auger.
BACKGROUND
[0002] As the road construction technology constantly improves and the requirement on the road surface quality constantly increases, application and status of an asphalt concrete paver get more and more attention, and segregation phenomenon occurred to the road surface by the asphalt concrete paver during construction also gets more and more attention. There are many reasons resulting in road surface segregation, and the road surface segregation caused by the asphalt concrete paver mainly includes: hopper segregation, auger mixing segregation, rammer compaction segregation, screed pavement segregation, and random segregation and so on.
[0003] For the asphalt concrete paver, transmission and distribution of the mixture are implemented by two important components, i.e. a scraper and an auger. The scraper is a translational layered transmission device with no re-mixing function to the mixture, thus it cannot improve the physical and temperature segregations of the mixture caused by previous procedures. Due to this, in recent years, a process, in which a mixture transferring vehicle is additionally provided in front of the paver, arises, and the temperature and physical segregations are effectively improved by the functions of heat preservation, heating and stirring and so on in the process. As for the paver itself, improvement of the segregation is mainly achieved by the structure design and kinematic parameters of the auger.
[0004] After the primary stirring for the asphalt mixture by a stirring machine, the secondary stirring for the asphalt mixture will be made by the auger during asphalt mixture transmission, and the effect of the secondary stirring will be influenced by the action of the inner friction force of the asphalt mixture and the action of the outer friction force between the mixture and an auger flight. However, a good auger of a paver should be capable of stirring the mixture well, so that the mixture segregation caused by previous procedures is effectively improved, and meanwhile, the required amount of the mixture at different parts of the paving width is satisfied, thereby ensuring the flatness. This is the ultimate object on the design of the auger, and is also the reasonable way to improve the performance of the paver.
[0005] During construction, it is easy for longitudinal segregation, that is, a strip-shape segregation band along a vehicle running direction appeared on the paving layer, to occur under the bottom of a center driving sprocket box of the auger. This is due to the space taken by the center driving sprocket box, and thus, the left and right basic augers are disconnected with a certain distance at the center joint. Thus, the mixture at the disconnected area cannot be spread and stirred evenly by the auger flights but can only be filled up with the natural flowing of the mixture, which will lead to accumulation and pressing under the bottom of the center driving sprocket box. Therefore, after paving, the paving compactness is low and the gradation is uneven, forming an obvious stripe-shape segregation band.
SUMMARY
[0006] Directed to the above shortcomings existing in the prior art, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an auger for a paver which can prevent segregation from occurring under the bottom of the center driving sprocket box of the auger.
[0007] To solve the above problems, the present invention provides an anti-segregation auger arranged on a paver and including left and right basic augers and a center driving sprocket box, wherein a plow-shaped distributing device for distributing the mixture entering into the anti-segregation auger to both left and right sides is provided in front of the center driving sprocket box.
[0008] Preferably, a left reverse auger flight and a right reverse auger flight for transmitting a part of mixture back to the bottom of the center driving sprocket box are fixedly provided on the left and right basic augers which are at both left and right sides of the center driving sprocket box respectively.
[0009] Preferably, the plow-shaped distributing device is connected with a steel plate on which a plurality of oblong through holes are provided, wherein the plow-shaped distributing device is fixed on the center driving sprocket box by bolts passing through the oblong through holes.
[0010] The present invention also provides a paver with the above-described anti-segregation auger.
[0011] Beneficial effects of the anti-segregation auger and the paver of the present invention lie in several aspects as follows: its plow-shaped distributing device can effectively regulate the flowing of the mixture, so that the asphalt mixture is stirred effectively, which reduces the accumulation and pressing of the mixture under the bottom of the center driving sprocket box and reduces longitudinal segregation of the asphalt mixture, thereby improving the paving quality of the road surface after paving.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENT
[0017] The present invention will be described in further detail hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings and the specific embodiment, but it does not limit the present invention.
[0018] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a plow-shaped distributing device 1 of an anti-segregation auger of the present invention has a shape similar to a nose, and the front central portion thereof is a plow beam 10, wherein a steel plate 9 is connected with the plow-shaped distributing device 1, and a plurality of through holes are provided on the steel plate 9. As shown in FIG. 5, in the top view of the plow-shaped distributing device 1, it is generally in a shape of an inverted triangle.
[0019] In the present invention, the plow-shaped distributing device 1 is provided in front of the center driving sprocket box 8. As shown in FIG. 1, in a preferable embodiment of the present invention, by a bolt 6 passing through the through hole on the steel plate 9, the plow-shaped distributing device 1 is fixed on the center driving sprocket box 8 of the anti-segregation auger and is located in front of it. The through hole on the steel plate 9 for the bolt 6 to pass through is preferably an oblong through-hole, so that the bolt 6 can slide up and down in the oblong through-hole, and therefore, the plow-shaped distributing device 1 can be regulated up and down according to the requirement of working conditions. The plow-shaped distributing device 1 can also be directly welded on the steel structure of the center driving sprocket box 8, and moves up and down by regulating a lifting cylinder 7 and the center driving sprocket box 8.
[0020] With continued reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, when the paver works, the asphalt mixture enters into the anti-segregation auger from the feeder (not shown) on a paver frame 13 side, and is distributed to both left and right sides of the plow-shaped distributing device 1 via the plow beam 10 of the plow-shaped distributing device 1, and after being sent to a left blocking plate 4 and a right blocking plate 5, it is conveyed to the two sides of the trough formed by the left blocking plate 4, the right blocking plate 5 and the screed 14, with the rotation of an auger flight 11 and an auger flight 12 on the left and right basic augers.
[0021] The plow beam 10 of the plow-shaped distributing device 1 transits to the two sides of the device by smooth arcs, which can reduce the flowing resistance of the mixture and facilitate the flowing of the mixture, so that the mixture is evenly scattered on the two sides along the plow beam of the plow-shaped distributing device 1, thereby avoiding the mixture under the bottom of the center sprocket box being forcedly pressed by the sprocket box due to accumulation. Meanwhile, a left reverse auger flight 2 and a right reverse auger flight 3 arranged on the left and right basic augers at the left and right sides of the center driving sprocket box 8 can reversely stir the asphalt mixture, and transmit a part of mixture distributed to the two sides by the plow-shaped distributing device 1 back to the bottom of the center driving sprocket box 8 while sufficiently stirring, thereby avoiding the asphalt mixture being space-interfered by the plow-shaped distributing device 1 and disconnected by a certain distance at the center joint.
[0022] As for the paver with the anti-segregation auger of the present invention, at its center driving sprocket box 8, after the asphalt mixture passes the plow-shaped distributing device, there is no phenomenon of low compactness and uneven gradation, which can effectively reduce the occurrence of longitudinal segregation of the asphalt mixture at the center driving sprocket box 8.
[0023] Certainly, the above description is only a preferable embodiment of the present invention, and it should be noted that a person skilled in the art can also make various modifications and variations without departing from the principles of the present invention, and these modifications and variations are also considered to be within the scope of the present invention.
