Description:
BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE
Field of the Disclosure
[0001] The disclosure relates to loose hair removal devices and more particularly pertains to a new loose hair removal device for removing loose hair from a person.
SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0002] An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a housing that has a body section and a venturi section. The venturi section has a distal end with respect to the body section and the distal end defines a nozzle. The nozzle has a first end and a second end and the nozzle is elongated between the first end and the second end. The nozzle is open such that the nozzle is in fluid communication with an interior of the housing. The body section has an outer wall and the outer wall has a slot extending therethrough. The slot is in fluid communication with the interior of the housing. A blower is positioned within the housing and the blower urges air outwardly from the nozzle. The blower removes hair clippings from a person.
[0003] There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
[0004] The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0005] The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
[0006] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a loose hair removal assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0007] FIG. 2 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0008] FIG. 3 is a bottom view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0009] FIG. 4 is a cross sectional view taken along line 4-4 of FIG. 3 of an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0010] FIG. 5 is a perspective in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0011] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new loose hair removal device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
[0012] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the loose hair removal assembly 10 generally comprises a housing 12 that has body section 14 and a venturi section 16. The venturi section 16 has a distal end 18 with respect to the body section 14 and the distal end 18 defines a nozzle 20 that has a first end 22 and a second end 24. The nozzle 20 is elongated between the first end 22 and the second end 24 and the nozzle 20 is open such that the nozzle 20 is in fluid communication with an interior of the housing 12.
[0013] The body section 14 has an outer wall 26 and the outer wall 26 has a slot 28 extending therethrough. The slot 28 is in fluid communication with the interior of the housing 12 and the slot 28 may be one of a plurality of slots 28. The body section 14 has a back end 27 and a hook 29 is attached to the back end 27. The hook 29 may removably support the housing 12 from a hanger or the like. A blower 30 is positioned within the housing 12 and the blower 30 urges air outwardly from the nozzle 20. The blower 30 removes hair clippings 32 from a person 34.
[0014] The blower 30 comprises a motor 36 positioned within the body section 14 and a fan 38 rotatably coupled to the motor 36. The fan 38 is aligned with the slot 28 and the fan 38 is rotated by the motor 36 when the motor 36 is turned on. The fan 38 urges air inwardly of the housing 12 through the slot 28 and outwardly of the housing 12 through the venturi section 16. The fan 38 may be a cylinder fan or the like. The venturi section 16 increases a velocity of the air between the fan 38 and the nozzle 20 such that the air exiting the nozzle 20 exerts sufficient force to remove the hair clippings 32 from the person 34.
[0015] An actuator 40 is positioned on the body section 14 and the actuator 40 is electrically coupled to the motor 36. The actuator 40 is actuated to turn the motor 36 on and off. A cord 42 is coupled to and extends outwardly from the back end 27. The cord 42 is electrically coupled to the actuator 40 and the cord 42 has a distal end 44 with respect to the body section 14. The distal end 44 of the cord 42 comprises a male plug 46 and the male plug 46 may be electrically coupled to a power source 48. The power source 48 may be an electrical outlet 50 or the like.
[0016] In use, the male plug 46 is electrically coupled to the power source 48. The actuator 40 is actuated to turn the motor 36 on. The nozzle 20 is directed toward the person 34 so the air urged outwardly from the nozzle 20 removes the hair clippings 32 from the person 34. The assembly 10 is utilized in a salon setting, a barber setting or other setting involving hair clippings 32. The assembly 10 eliminates the possibility of cross contamination between people through the use of an object to physically remove the hair clippings 32 from the person 34.
[0017] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0018] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word "comprising" is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article "a" does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
