[0006] There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
[0007] The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

[0008] The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
[0009] FIG. 1 is a top perspective view of a cylinder storage assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0010] FIG. 2 is a top view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0011] FIG. 3 is a left side view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0012] FIG. 4 is a cross sectional view taken along line 4-4 of FIG. 2 of an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0013] FIG. 5 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0014] FIG. 6 is a perspective in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0015] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 6 thereof, a new storage device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
[0016] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 6, the cylinder storage assembly 10 generally comprises a holder 12 that may have a cylinder 14 removably positioned thereon. The holder 12 may be positionable within a vehicle 16 to prevent the cylinder 14 from rolling around the vehicle 16 while the vehicle 16 moving. The cylinder 14 may be a compressed gas cylinder or the like and the vehicle 16 may be a vehicle of any conventional design.
[0017] The holder 12 comprises a panel 18 that has a primary end 20, a secondary end 22, a top side 24 and a bottom side 26. The panel 18 is elongated between the primary end 20 and the secondary end 22 and the bottom side 26 may abut a support surface 28 within the vehicle 16. The support surface 28 may be the floor 29 of the vehicle 16. A receiver 30 is provided that has a first side 32 and a second side 34. The receiver 30 is coupled to and extends upwardly from the top side 24 and the receiver 30 is positioned adjacent to the primary end 20 such that the first side 32 faces the primary end 20. The receiver 30 has a well 36 that extends into the second side 34 to insertably receive a neck 38 of the cylinder 14.
[0018] A saddle 40 is coupled to and extends upwardly from the top side 24 and the saddle 40 is positioned closer to the receiver 30 than the secondary end 22. The saddle 40 has a distal end 42 with respect to the top side 24 and the distal end 42 has a first groove 44 extending downwardly therein. The first groove 44 is aligned with the well 36 and the first groove 44 supports the cylinder 14.
[0019] A coupler 46 is coupled to the holder 12 to retain the cylinder 14 on the holder 12. The coupler 46 comprises a support 48 that is coupled to and extends upwardly from the top side 24. The support 48 is positioned closer to the secondary 22 end than the saddle 40 and the support 48 has a distal end 50 with respect to the top side 24. The distal end 50 of the support 48 has a second groove 52 extending downwardly therein. The second groove 52 may have the cylinder 14 positioned therein.
[0020] A strap 54 is coupled to the support 48 and the strap 54 has a break 56 therein to define a free end 58 of a first portion 60 and a free end 58 of a second portion 62. Each of the first portion 60 and the second portion 62 may be wrapped around the cylinder 14. A pair of couplers 64 is coupled to each of the first portion 60 and the second portion 62 and the couplers 64 are each positioned adjacent to the free ends 58. The couplers 64 may comprise hook and loop fasteners or the like. The free ends 58 of each of first portion 60 and the second portion 62 are matable such that the strap 54 retains the cylinder 14 on the support 48.
[0021] A stop 66 is provided that has a front side 68 and the stop 66 is coupled to and extends upwardly from the top side 24. The stop 66 is positioned between the support 48 and the secondary end 22 such that the front side 68 faces the support 48. The cylinder 14 abuts the front side 68 when the cylinder 14 is positioned within the receiver 30. Moreover, the stop 66 prevents the cylinder 14 from sliding rearwardly with respect to the receiver 30.
[0022] In use, the neck 38 of the cylinder 14 is placed within the well 36 in the receiver 30. The cylinder 14 is placed in the saddle 40 and the support 48. The strap 54 is wrapped around the cylinder 14 to secure the cylinder 14 on the holder 12. The holder 12 is positioned on the floor 29 of the vehicle 16. The holder 12 prevents the cylinder 14 from rolling around on the floor 29 of the vehicle 16 while the vehicle 16 is moving. The holder 12 additionally prevents the cylinder 14 from becoming damaged or causing injury while the vehicle 16 is moving.
[0023] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0024] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word "comprising" is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article "a" does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
