Abstract

A carrying assembly for PURPOSE includes a harness that may be positioned on a person. A pair of straps each has a primary end and a secondary end. The straps are coupled to the belt. Each of the straps may be looped over shoulders of the person. A pair of pads is provided. Each of the straps has one of the pads coupled thereto. The pads may abut the person's shoulders. A plurality of hooks is coupled to the harness. Each of the hooks may have an object coupled thereto.

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

Field of the Disclosure

[0001] The disclosure relates to carrying devices and more particularly pertains to a new carrying device for providing hands-free carrying of multiple objects.

SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

[0002] An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a harness that may be positioned on a person. A pair of straps each has a primary end and a secondary end. The straps are coupled to the belt. Each of the straps may be looped over shoulders of the person. A pair of pads is provided. Each of the straps has one of the pads coupled thereto. The pads may abut the person's shoulders. A plurality of hooks is coupled to the harness. Each of the hooks may have an object coupled thereto.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0012] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 6 thereof, a new carrying device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

[0013] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 6, the carrying assembly 10 generally comprises a harness 12 that may be positioned on a person 14. The harness 12 comprises a belt 16. The belt 16 has a break therein to define a first end 18 and a second end 20. The belt 16 has a first portion 22 including the first end 18. Additionally, the belt 16 has a second portion 24 including the second end 20.

[0014] Each of the first portion 22 and the second portion 24 has an outer surface 26. The belt 12 has a middle portion 28 positioned between the first 22 and second 24 portions. The first portion 22 and the second portion 24 may be comprised of a rigid material. The middle portion 28 may be comprised of a resiliently stretchable material.

[0015] A pair of buckles 30 is provided. Each of the first end 18 and the second end 20 has one of the buckles 30 coupled thereto. The buckles 30 are releasably mateable to retain the belt 16 around the person's waist 32.

[0016] A pair of straps 34 each has a primary end 36 and a secondary end 38. The belt 16 has a top edge 40. The primary ends 36 are coupled to the top edge 40 corresponding to the first 22 and second 24 portions. The primary ends 36 are positioned adjacent to the middle portion 28. The secondary ends 38 are coupled to the top edge 40 corresponding to the first 22 and second 24 portions. Each of the secondary ends 38 is positioned adjacent to an associated one of the first 18 and second 20 ends. Each of the straps 34 is configured to be looped over shoulders 42 of the person 14. The straps 34 may cross each other above the middle portion 28.

[0017] A pair of pads 44 is provided. Each of the straps 34 has one of the pads 44 coupled thereto. The pads 44 may abut the person's shoulders 42. The pads 44 may be comprised of a resiliently compressible material to absorb pressure from the straps 34.

[0018] A plurality of hooks 46 is coupled to the harness 12. Each of the hooks 46 has a foot 48 coupled to and extending away from a leg 50. The leg 50 has a back side 52. The back side 52 of the leg 50 is coupled to the outer surface 26 of the first portion 22 and the second portion 24. The hooks 46 are distributed around the belt 16. Each of the hooks 46 may have an object 54 coupled thereto. The object 54 may be a bag.

[0019] In an alternative embodiment 56 as disclosed in FIG. 6, the harness 12 may comprise a panel 58. A single one of the straps 34 is coupled to and extends upwardly from the panel 58 to form a closed loop. The hooks 46 are coupled to an outer surface 60 of the panel 58. The panel 58 abuts one of the user's hips 62 when the strap 34 is worn over one of the user's shoulders 42.

[0020] In use, the person 14 wears the harness 12. The person 14 couples the objects 54 to the hooks 46. The assembly 10 allows the person 14 to transport multiple objects 54 in a hands-free manner.

[0021] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Claims

1. A carrying assembly configured to allow a person to carry a plurality of bags, said assembly comprising: a harness configured to be positioned on a person; a pair of straps each having a primary end and a secondary end, said straps being coupled to said belt each of said straps being configured to be looped over shoulders of the person; and a pair of pads, each of said straps having one of said pads coupled thereto, said pads being configured to abut the person's shoulders; and a plurality of hooks coupled to said harness, each of said hooks being configured to have an object coupled thereto.

The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said harness comprising a belt, said belt having a break therein to define a first end and a second end, said belt having a first portion including said first end, said belt having a second portion including said second end, each of said first portion and said second portion having an outer surface, said belt having a middle portion positioned between said first and second portions.

3. The assembly according to claim 2, wherein a pair of buckles, each of said first end and said second end having one of said buckles coupled thereto, said buckles being releasably mateable such that said belt is retained around a person's waist.

4. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said belt having a top edge, said primary ends being coupled to said top edge corresponding to said first and second portions, said primary ends being positioned adjacent to said middle portion.

5. The assembly according to claim 4, wherein said secondary ends being coupled to said top edge corresponding to said first and second portions, each of said secondary ends is positioned adjacent to an associated one of said first and second ends.

The assembly according to claim 2, wherein each of said hooks having a foot coupled to and extending away from a leg, said leg having a back side, said back side of said leg being coupled to said outer surface of said first portion and said second portion, said hooks being distributed around said belt

A carrying assembly configured to allow a person to carry a plurality of bags, said assembly comprising: a harness configured to be positioned on a person, said harness comprising: a belt, said belt having a break therein to define a first end and a second end, said belt having a first portion including said first end, said belt having a second portion including said second end, each of said first portion and said second portion having an outer surface, said belt having a middle portion positioned between said first and second portions; a pair of buckles, each of said first end and said second end having one of said buckles coupled thereto, said buckles being releasably mateable such that said belt is retained around a person's waist; a pair of straps each having a primary end and a secondary end, said belt having a top edge, said primary ends being coupled to said top edge corresponding to said first and second portions, said primary ends being positioned adjacent to said middle portion, said secondary ends being coupled to said top edge corresponding to said first and second portions, each of said secondary ends is positioned adjacent to an associated one of said first and second ends, each of said straps being configured to be looped over shoulders of the person; and a pair of pads, each of said straps having one of said pads coupled thereto, said pads being configured to abut the person's shoulders; and a plurality of hooks coupled to said harness, each of said hooks having a foot coupled to and extending away from a leg, said leg having a back side, said back side of said leg being coupled to said outer surface of said first portion and said second portion, said hooks being distributed around said belt, each of said hooks being configured to have an object coupled thereto.
