Abstract:

The present invention relates to an electric circuit system for providing hygiene, which is designed to avoid and destroy, by the use of the UV rays, the harmful bacteria, which develop in a long time in the refrigerators and cold rooms.

Claims:

1- A hygiene system comprised by an electric circuit for ensuring that the harmful bacteria do not develop in the refrigerators and cold rooms and for providing hygiene characterized in that it comprises a UV ray supplier (14) integrated to the electric circuit, an outer casing (10) protecting the circuit from external factors, a switch (15) enabling the integration of the circuit with the refrigerator doors, the multivibrator (8-9) providing electricity saving owing to the intermittent operation of the circuit, a white led (12), a LDR (11) and a Triac (13).

Description:

[0001] The present invention relates to an electric circuit system for providing hygiene, which is designed to avoid and destroy, by the use of the UV rays, the harmful bacteria, which develop in a long time in the refrigerators and cold rooms (FIG. 1).

TECHNICAL FIELD AND THE STATE OF THE ART

[0002] It was realized that some harmful bacteria develop on the foods kept for long time in the refrigerators. With this invention, it is aimed to prevent the growth of bacteria within the refrigerators.

[0003] Said technique is aimed to be used in the white appliances sector.

[0004] According to the known system that is available, the refrigerators are used as the coolers. They lack a system to prevent the bacteria.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The electronic hygiene system for the coolers is comprised by an electric circuit (FIG. 1) and a UV lamp (14). When this system is disposed at an appropriate location inside the refrigerator, it will prevent the bacterial growth in the refrigerator. In order to ensure that the UV rays do not harm the individual, the switch (15) cuts off the network current at the instant the door of the refrigerator is opened. The UV lamp (14) goes out. The circuit is activated when the door is closed. Meanwhile, in order to provide electricity saving, the UV lamp (14) goes on and off in an alternating manner (e.g., it remains on for 1 minute and becomes off for the next 1 minute and so on), with the aid of a multivibrator (8-9). In this way, the UV lamp (14) is enabled to run 12 hours a day.

[0006] In the electronic hygiene system for the coolers, the switch (15) on the refrigerator door assumes the ON state when the door is closed, while it assumes the OFF state when said door is opened. There is a white led (12) at the outlet of the multivibrator (8-9). This led (12) flashes on and off according to the incoming square waves. Since the led (12) and LDR (11) are contained in a lightproof casing (10), the resistance of LDR (11) increases or decreases in parallel with the flashing on-off of the led (12). This causes the Triac (13) to switch between the conduction and insulation in an alternating manner. The UV lamp (14), connected with the Triac (13), flashes on and off rhythmically. In this manner, the bacterial growth inside the refrigerator is prevented owing to the use of the UV rays.

[0007] The transistors (8 and 9) in the figure generate a current in the form of square wave. The resistances (1 and 4) determine the supply current for the transistors. The resistances (2 and 3) and the capacitors (6 and 7) discharge according to the time that is the product RxC in order to determine the shape and frequency of the square wave current generated by the multivibrator.

TECHNICAL PROBLEMS AIMED TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION

[0008] The most important characteristic of the refrigerators or the coolers is their ability to preserve the foods contained therein in a healthy manner, by way of cooling. However, the moist and cold environment within these devices also constitutes the environment for the reproduction and growth of the bacteria. By means of the UV rays, it becomes possible to destroy these bacteria that directly threaten the human health. The invention comprises the discovery of a system that utilizes UV rays to avoid and destroy the bacteria threatening the human health.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY OF THE INVENTION

[0009] The inventive system is to be positioned into the refrigerators or coolers employed in the white appliances sector. Although the system remains the same, the UV lamp (14) and the electric circuit (FIG. 1) will be positioned by the electrical-electronic engineers at the proper locations of the refrigerators and coolers according to different brands and manufacturing processes in a manner that suits the physical structures of the refrigerators and coolers.

[0010] The electronic hygiene system for the coolers realized to achieve the object of the invention is illustrated in the enclosed drawings in which:

[0011] FIG. 1--A view of the circuit

[0012] The parts in the figures are assigned with the reference numerals the designations for which are indicated below:

[0013] 1-2-3-4-5) Resistances

[0014] 6-7) Capacitors

[0015] 8-9) NPN transistors
