Abstract:
The present invention relates to an aid for making it easier to knit by
hand, and more particularly to an aid for knitting a band accessory by
hand. The hand knitting aid includes: a main body which is formed in the
form of a plate; a fixing portion which is formed on one upper portion of
the main body and fixes one end of yarn for a band accessory; a holder
which is formed on one lower side portion of the main body and spaced
from the fixing portion and aligns and fixes the other end of the yarn
for a band accessory in accordance with a pattern of the band accessory;
and an elastic pressing portion which elastically presses the holder and
provides a constant tension to the yarn for a band accessory.Claims:
1. A hand knitting aid for a band accessory, the hand knitting aid
comprising: a main body which is formed in a form of a plate; a fixing
portion which is formed on one upper portion of the main body and fixes
one end of a yarn for a band accessory; a holder which is formed on one
lower side portion of the main body and spaced from the fixing portion
and aligns and fixes the other end of the yarn for the band accessory in
accordance with a pattern of the band accessory; and an elastic pressing
portion which elastically presses the holder and provides a constant
tension to the yarn for the band accessory.

The hand knitting aid of claim 1, wherein the fixing portion is comprised of a fixing plate which is coupled to the main body and has a fitting groove formed therein in a longitudinal direction thereof, and comprises an elastic clip which is coupled to the fitting groove of the fixing plate and has a catching portion protruding from a central portion of the elastic clip.
3. The hand knitting aid of claim 1, wherein the holder is formed by forming a plurality of yarn fixing blocks in parallel by means of a shaft and the yarn is fitted and fixed among the yarn fixing blocks.
4. The hand knitting aid of claim 3, wherein an inclined plane is formed such that a portion of the yarn fixing block, to which the yarn is started to be fitted, is formed relatively lower than other portions.

The hand knitting aid of claim 4, wherein the elastic pressing portion is formed on both ends of the parallel formed yarn fixing block, has a compression spring formed therein, and provides an elastic force to both end sides of the yarn fixing block, so that the yarn fixing block moves about the shaft in accordance with the size of the elastic force.

The hand knitting aid of claim 5, wherein a guide groove is formed within the elastic pressing portion, wherein the compression spring is inserted and fixed to the inside of the guide groove, and wherein a transfer plate is formed by contact between one end of the compression spring and one side of the yarn fixing block.
7. The hand knitting aid of claim 6, wherein the elastic pressing portion is screw-coupled to the main body.
8. The hand knitting aid of claim 1, wherein a scale capable of measuring the length of the band accessory is further formed on a front side of the main body.
9. The hand knitting aid of claim 8, wherein a suction plate is further formed on a back side of the main body.
10. The hand knitting aid of claim 8, wherein the suction plate has a catching portion formed on an upper portion thereof and is inserted to an insertion hole formed in the main body, and is coupled attachably and detachably to the main body.
11. The hand knitting aid of claim 8, wherein any one of or at least two of a series of numbers, alphabet, engraved marks, and symbols are mixed and displayed on the top surface of the yarn fixing block.
12. The hand knitting aid of claim 2, wherein a scale capable of measuring the length of the band accessory is further formed on a front side of the main body.
13. The hand knitting aid of claim 3, wherein a scale capable of measuring the length of the band accessory is further formed on a front side of the main body.
14. The hand knitting aid of claim 4, wherein a scale capable of measuring the length of the band accessory is further formed on a front side of the main body.
15. The hand knitting aid of claim 5, wherein a scale capable of measuring the length of the band accessory is further formed on a front side of the main body.
16. The hand knitting aid of claim 6, wherein a scale capable of measuring the length of the band accessory is further formed on a front side of the main body.

TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to a hand knitting aid which fixes each yarn in such a manner as to maintain a constant tension of the yarn in doing hand knitting on an accessory like a wish bracelet, and thus, prevents the yarns from being interfered with each other and being tangled with each other, thereby making it easier to knit by hand.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Generally, hand knitting is to manufacture a band accessory for human body such as a necklace, a bracelet, a belt, etc., by twisting or braiding thread in a certain shape or form by using fingers without using a knitting needle.
[0003] In particular, misanga bracelet, etc., which is recently in vogue, is a representative hand knitted band accessory and is known to be derived from the fact that Brazilian soccer players take part in a game with their arms wound with thread to pray for victory. The misanga bracelet has a meaning that when the misanga bracelet is worn and cut itself, wishes are come true. For this reason, the misanga bracelet is called a wish bracelet.
[0004] The misanga bracelet is manufactured by twisting or braiding colored thread (hereafter, referred to as yarn) like cross-stitch thread. The yarn may be braided in the form of four lines, i.e., in the easiest form. When the misanga bracelet is required to have a larger width or a particular pattern, more yarn is added and is twisted or braided.
[0005] In general, even in the case of braiding in the form of four lines, one ends of the yarns are tied and fixed to one side, and then the yarns are braided with being somewhat pulled, and then have a certain length. When a variety of patterns having a wider area are intended to be added, a larger number of yarns are added and arranged in order in consideration of the patterns, and then fixed.
[0006] In this case, there is a requirement for a process in which the yarns should maintain a constant tension among them and should be arranged in such a way as to be easily identified and interference among the yarns is minimized. For the purpose of supporting the process, a hand knitting aid is generally used.
[0007] An existing aid is formed in the form of a plate and has a fixing hole for simply tying and fixing one end of the yarn and a fixing groove for fixing the other end of the yarn. The fixing groove is formed on the opposite side to the fixing hole.
[0008] However, in this case, the tension may not be maintained constant by simply putting the yarn into the fixing groove. When the hand knitting is stopped for a while, the tension is not maintained constant, and thus, an aesthetic sense is reduced, for example, a desired pattern is not created or is not uniform, and besides, knitting efficiency is degraded.
[0009] Also, when the hand knitting is stopped for a while, the used yarns may be tangled with each other and the yarns may be hereby interfered with each other, so that the knitting efficiency is more degraded and it is inconvenient to start the hand knitting again.
DISCLOSURE
Technical Problem
[0010] The object of the present invention is to provide a hand knitting aid which fixes each yarn in such a manner as to maintain a constant tension of the yarn in doing hand knitting on a band accessory like a wish bracelet, and thus, prevents the yarns from being interfered with each other and being tangled with each other, thereby making it easier to knit by hand and efficiently performing the hand knitting.
Technical Solution
[0011] To accomplish the above object, the present invention provides an aid for doing hand knitting on a band accessory. The hand knitting aid includes: a main body which is formed in the form of a plate; a fixing portion which is formed on one upper portion of the main body and fixes one end of yarn for a band accessory; a holder which is formed on one lower side portion of the main body and spaced from the fixing portion and aligns and fixes the other end of the yarn for a band accessory in accordance with a pattern of the band accessory; and an elastic pressing portion which elastically presses the holder and provides a constant tension to the yarn for a band accessory.
[0012] Also, it is desirable that the fixing portion should be comprised of a fixing plate which is coupled to the main body and has a fitting groove formed therein in a longitudinal direction thereof, and should be comprised of an elastic clip which is coupled to the fitting groove of the fixing plate and has a catching portion protruding from the central portion of the elastic clip.
[0013] Also, it is desirable that the holder should be formed by forming a plurality of yarn fixing blocks in parallel by means of a shaft and the yarn should be fitted and fixed among the yarn fixing blocks. It is desirable that an inclined plane should be formed such that a portion of the yarn fixing block, to which the yarn is started to be fitted, is formed relatively lower than other portions.
[0014] Also, it is desirable that the elastic pressing portion should be formed on both ends of the parallel formed yarn fixing block, should have a compression spring formed therein, and should provide an elastic force to both end sides of the yarn fixing block, so that the yarn fixing block moves about the shaft in accordance with the size of the elastic force.
[0015] Also, it is desirable that a guide groove should be formed within the elastic pressing portion and the compression spring should be inserted and fixed to the inside of the guide groove and a transfer plate should be formed by contact between one end of the compression spring and one side of the yarn fixing block. The elastic pressing portion is screw-coupled to the main body.
[0016] Meanwhile, it is desirable that a scale capable of measuring the length of the band accessory should be further formed on the front side of the main body. It is desirable that a suction plate should be further formed on the back side of the main body. It is desirable that the suction plate should have a catching portion formed on an upper portion thereof and be inserted to an insertion hole formed in the main body, and thus, be coupled attachably and detachably to the main body.
[0017] Also, it is desirable that any one of or at least two of a series of numbers, alphabet, engraved marks, and symbols should be mixed and displayed on the top surface of the yarn fixing block.
Advantageous Effects
[0018] According to the technical solution of the present invention, the yarn can be fitted and fixed and pulled out rapidly and easily in a repeating manner and a constant tension of the yarn is maintained when the yarn is fixed, so that it is possible to minimize the interference among the yarns, to improve the uniformity of the pattern and quality by maintaining a constant tension of the yarn, and to produce high-quality hand knitted goods.

MODE FOR INVENTION
[0022] The present invention is intended to provide a separate hand knitting aid so as to make it easier to knit by hand in doing hand knitting on an accessory like a wish bracelet, thereby fixing each yarn in such a manner as to maintain a constant tension thereof and preventing the yarns from being interfered with each other and being tangled with each other, so that the knitting efficiency is further improved.

[0025] As shown in the drawings, the hand knitting aid according to the embodiment of the present invention is used to improve the knitting efficiency in doing hand knitting on an accessory like a band accessory. The hand knitting aid largely includes a main body 100 which is formed in the form of a plate; a fixing portion 200 which is formed on one upper portion of the main body 100 and fixes one end of yarn 10 for a band accessory; a holder 300 which is formed on one lower side portion of the main body 100 and aligns and fixes the other end of the yarn 10 for a band accessory in accordance with a pattern of the band accessory; and an elastic pressing portion 400 which elastically presses the holder 300 and provides a constant tension to the yarn 10 for a band accessory.
[0026] First, the main body 100 of the hand knitting aid according to the embodiment of the present invention is formed in the form of a plate and has an appropriate shape in consideration of the length or width of the band accessory. Also, the main body 100 is formed to have a quadrangular shape. The material of the main body 100 includes paste board, plastic, wood, etc., and is appropriately changed in consideration of a knitting environment or the size or shape of the band accessory, etc.
[0027] Meanwhile, it is desirable that a scale 110 capable of measuring the length of the band accessory should be further formed on the front side of the main body 100. This intends to perform the hand knitting as much as a required length of the band accessory while braiding the yarn 10.
