DESCRIPTION
[0004] The present invention is an improving game competition system made up of sub systems and methods that will advance the talented Martial Art amateurs to professional. It also relates generally to games and more particularly to games of physical skill wherein balance, coordination and physical speed are required.
BACKGROUND IN ART
[0005] A well-known game utilizing the hand and foot is Tae Kwon Do. In the game of Tae Kwon Do, two or more participants compete on a mat for two or three rounds that last two minutes per round, the object is to score as many points possible by landing kicks to the torso, head and punches only to the chest, in a given time to be called winner. This game requires skill, balance, coordination, stamina and agility. It takes three to four years for a student studying tae kwon do to achieve black belt status. The students from beginner to black belt train three to five days a week, travel to tournaments and compete against one another to win a trophy.

[0009] FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the competition system results page of the present invention;
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0010] Referring now to the invention in more detail, FIG. 1 is shown a sub system known as qualifier one to be utilized in the game system of the present invention. A-1 through A-8 is made up of athletes that have met the pre-set minimum standard. The competitors B-1 through B-4 have successfully advanced from first bout. C-1 and C-2 have successfully advanced from second bout. D-1 has successfully defeated contenders.
[0011] in further detail, still referring to FIG. 1, competitor A-1 will compete against A-2, A-3 against A-4, A-5 against A-6 and A-7 against A-8. The winners are noted B-1 through B-4, these winner will compete again against one another which will reveal the winners C-1 and C-2. There will be one last match between C-1 and C-2 in order to find D-1 week winner who will qualify to compete in a series final match, see FIG. 4 (M-1). The S-1 on the lower left hand corner represents the use of a specific scoring method for this subsystem.
[0012] Referring now to FIG. 2 there is shown another sub system known as qualifier to be utilized in the game system of the present invention.
[0013] In further detail, still referring to FIG. 2, sub system known as qualifier. E-1 through E-12 is made up of the first sub system series winners; see D-1 FIG. 1. Competitors E-1 through E-12 will compete as described, each competitions will have three to five rounds lasting two to five minutes in duration to find winners G-1 through G-3, and finally they will compete using a bye.
[0014] The last three contestants will draw to find who will receive a bye in the rounds to follow. The last competitor that receives the bye will sit out while the other two compete; the competitor that loses the first round will fight the competitor that received the bye. If the competitor that lost the first match loses the second match they will be called third place and the winner will compete against the winner from the first match for first and second place. Now should the loser from the first match win the second match they will be called second place. In the event there are only two competitors at this point the original method shall be used. This will produce one first place winner, one second place winner and one runner up. The first and second place winners see FIG. 4, Q-1 and Q-2 will qualify for Championship see FIG. 3. The S-2 on the lower left hand corner represents the change in scoring method for this subsystem.
[0015] Referring now to FIG. 3, is the final sub system known as championship to be utilized in the game system of the present invention. I-1 through I-8 is the first and second place winners from FIG. 2, H-1 and H-2 (final qualifier). They will compete as described; each competition will have three to five rounds lasting two to five minutes in duration to find winners to advance to J-1 through J-4 see FIG. 3. Those winners will compete to find K-1 and K-2 and finally they will compete to find champion L-1. This final champion series will produce one first place winner, one second place winner and two third place winners see FIG. 4 U-1 through U-4. The S-3 on the lower left hand corner represents another change in scoring method for this subsystem.
[0016] Referring now to FIG. 4 there is shown the results from all sub system competitions. In further detail the list labeled M-1 through M-12 represents all the winners of the first 12 consecutive weeks known as quarter final. List N-1 through N-12 represents all the winners of the second 12 consecutive weeks known as semi-final. List O-1 through O-12 represents all the winners of the third 12 consecutive weeks known as quarter-final. List P-1 through P-12 represents all winners from the forth 12 consecutive weeks known as series final. The sub system in FIG. 1, is used to produce the winners for FIG. 4, M-1 through M-12 known as series quarter final, N-1 through N-12 known as series semi-final, O-1 through O-12 known as series three quarter final, and P-1 through P-12 known as series final. The subsystem in FIG. 2 is used to produce the winners for FIG. 4, Q-1, Q-2, R-1, R-2, S-1, S-2, T-1 and T-2. And finally the sub system in FIG. 3 is used to produce the winners for FIG. 4, U-1 through U-4.
[0017] An advantage of the present invention include without limitation, an opportunity to solve a specific problem by building a community for which the advanced amateur athlete can compete in on the professional level while playing a Martial Art game as in Tae kwon do. in further detail the specific problem the present invention will solve is it will give place for amateur athletes to advance to after reaching black belt status. Until now there has been no option available for the competing athlete. The present invention is structured systematically to advance athletes that are ready to compete on the professional level. The competition winners will be rewarded financially at the end of FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 making this the beginning of a lucrative career move. The present invention will produce the top four competitors (known as, concrete and tangible result) out of the 384 total competitors. The 384 competitors represent one of the six to eight divisions that will compete annually. FIG. 4, U-1 through U-4 represents the division winners that will advance and compete on the professional level.
[0018] Yet another advantage of the present invention is the method in which the competitors will be judged. This method will comprise mixed scoring systems to include manual and electronic scoring systems. The manual scoring system to be used will judge contestants technique and range of skill using a ten point system. The electronic scoring will include the use of two electronic systems the first will allow the judges to score kicks and/or punches as they accrue by depressing a button on the hand held controllers for the scoring competitor. The second electronic system to be used will not require judges as the competitors will wear a head and chest protector that have built in sensors to register the points as they are scored. The methods for scoring shall change only after all in the series have competed. See FIG. 1, S-1, FIG. 2, S-2 and FIG. 3, S-3.
[0019] While the foregoing written description of the invention enables one of ordinary skill to make and use what is considered presently to be the best mode thereof, those of ordinary skill will understand and appreciate the existence of variation, combinations, and equivalents of the specific embodiment, method, and examples herein. The invention should therefore not be limited by the above described embodiment, method and examples, but by all embodiments and methods within the scope and spirit of the invention as claimed.
