Abstract:
The SnowSqueeg is a tool used to simplify removing snow for residential
and commercial use. It makes the process much faster and can be used on
many different surfaces due to its RUBBER STRIP AND RAISED BACKING. Its
design eliminates the tool from getting caught up on cracks and can be
used on many surfaces. It relieves the strain and pressure on your back
that you often get from lifting with conventional snow shovels.Claims:
1. The main and foremost important claim of the SnowSqueeg is using the
tool with a RUBBER STRIP and RAISED BACKING to clear away snow from
sidewalks, driveways, and municipal areas including but not limited to
uneven surfaces, soil, grass, wood and any other surface that snow needs
to be cleared away. The rubber contacts the surface with pressure
removing the snow as needed in a smooth and even stroke. The RUBBER BASE
also protects the surface that is being removed from snow. Although this
tool is not made for large amounts of snow, but merely is a supplement
for removing lesser amounts of snow in quick and easy manner although
depending on the comfort and ease of the user, the amount of snow may
vary. The SnowSqueeg helps the environment by eliminating the use of
costly snow throwers saving time, money gasoline, oil, and the burden of
using unnecessary resources to remove snow. This product puts ease on
your body by eliminating heavy lifting and prevents hitting uneven
surfaces that could thrust the handle into your stomach. More work can be
done in less time saving money for anyone who needs to remove snow. A
typical household driveway can be done in ten minutes or less. The
purpose of this tool designed wider makes it much faster to remove snow
than your typical shovel.Description:
BACKGROUND
[0001] The problem I am solving is removing snow easily from driveways, sidewalks, and high traffic areas where snow accumulates and needs to be removed without the backbreaking work involved. Many experience these conditions during the process of removing snow. I have created a device to easily remove snow by simply pushing it away using 1. A RUBBER STRIP on the bottom to glide easily over cracks and uneven surfaces such as; rocks, gravel, soil, grass, and even wooden decks. 2. A RAISED METAL BACKING to catch the snow from toppling over continuing to push the material forward.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The SnowSqueeg easily removes snow from sidewalks, storefronts, municipal complexes and can be used for including but not limited to businesses, residential homes, landscaping and snow removal companies that need to remove snow quick and efficiently. The SnowSqueeg easily slides over many surfaces including but limited to: driveways, walkways, cement, gravel, asphalt, grass, soil, wooden decks, and wooden walkways. The SnowSqueeg is easy to use for all ages. It can eliminate a lot of the strenuous lifting associated with removing snow when used correctly with limited amounts of snow. Instead of shoveling the snow, the SnowSqueeg allows the user to push the snow along the surface avoiding disturbances from the surface it is being used on allowing the snow to build up with its RAISED METAL BACKING making it possible to push the material forward. Once the snow has built up and resistance begins, simply push the snow off to the side and continue moving forward along your path.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION AND BEST MODE OF IMPLEMENTATION
[0009] The SnowSqueeg is used to remove snow from driveways, sidewalks, and any other areas that need to be cleaned from snow. The SnowSqueeg has a RAISED METAL BACKING so the snow does not topple over and more snow can be pushed in front of the SnowSqueeg building up in front of the tool before having to push the built up snow off to the side. The device covers more area than other conventional shovels. It is 3 ft. in length, thus saving time and energy covering more space. It is simple and easy to use. Most importantly it eliminates the heavy burden of lifting snow and simply allows the user to push the snow easily across the surface. A driveway or sidewalk can be down with several passes.
[0010] The components of the SnowSqueeg is made with a RAISED METAL BACKING, RUBBER STRIP, a wooden dowel, a bracket to connect the metal base and wooden dowel and locking nuts to connect all pieces together. What differentiates the SnowSqueeg from other products is it RUBBER BOTTOM allowing it to glide easily across all surfaces; gravel driveways, uneven surfaces and its RAISED BACKING is designed to catch snow as it is building up. The SnowSqueeg is 3' long, the perfect size to remove snow from a sidewalk. It has 12 locking nuts, 3 in. apart with a metal strip that goes over the rubber to hold the rubber in place. The rubber is 1/4'' thick and is 21/2 in. high. The metal backing is 3'1/2'' high. 2 locking nuts hold the bracket and metal base in place.
