Abstract:
The Z Bracket is a bracket that leans the post back from a 90 degree by
10 degrees with an 80 degree angle that allows the post to have more
strength to hold a shade connected to the post and to a building opposite
the post and bracket and gives the overall appearance unique and
practical for patio areas and any area which a shaded area is preferred.Claims:
1: I claim that the Z bracket is comprised of two pieces welded together.
2: I claim that the Z Bracket is angled at 10 degrees from a 90 degree angle to establish an 80 degree angle for the post.
3: I claim that the Z bracket uses two front braces giving the inserted post added support.
Description:
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] (1) Field of the Invention
[0002] The "The Z Bracket" is a new design Description of the art including information disclosed under 37 CFR 1.97 & 1.98
[0003] The art described in the drawings of the design are in the drawings.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The "The Z Bracket" is designed to hold a post of any size or shape at an 80 degree angle to allow more strength to the post and the shade top connected to a building.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWINGS
[0005] There are 4 drawings in total that describe and illustrate the design and function of the "Z Bracket".
[0006] FIG. 1: is the back side angle view of the bracket.
[0007] FIG. 2: is the front side angle view of the bracket.
[0008] FIG. 3: is the back side angle view of the racket with a post inserted into the bracket.
[0009] FIG. 4: is the front side angle view of the bracket with a post inserted into the bracket.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0010] FIG. 1: This illustrates the back side angled view of the bracket with 1 the body of the bracket with 2 the front brace for the post with 3 the screw hole to hold the post into position with 4 the back side of the bracket which is welded to connect the two pieces of the bracket together with 5 the bolt hole to place a bolt through the post with 6 the hole to bolt the bracket to the surface.
[0011] FIG. 2: This illustrates the front side angled view of the bracket with 1 the body of the bracket with 2 the back side welding the two pieces of the bracket together with 3 the front top brace with 4 the screw hole with 5 the bolt hole to bolt the bracket to a surface with 6 the side bolt hole for a bolt to place through the post.
[0012] FIG. 3: This illustrates the front side angled view with 1 the body of the bracket with 2 the post inserted into the bracket with 3 the brace holding the post into the angle position with 4 the screw hole that also holds the post into position with 5 the bolt hole for the bolt to anchor the bracket to a surface with 6 the side bolt hole allowing a bolt to be place through the post.
[0013] FIG. 4: This illustrates the back side angled view of the bracket with 1 the body of the bracket with 2 the front brace that holds the post into position with 3 the screw hole to hold the post into position with 4 the post inserted into the bracket with 5 the back side welded to connect the two pieces of the bracket together with 6 the side bolt hole to place a bolt through the post with 7 the bolt hole to anchor the bracket to a surface.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0014] The "The Z Bracket" is the foundation piece that holds a post of any size or shape at an angle of approximately 80 degrees created by leaning the post back by 10 degrees from a 90 degree position. The post at the top portion is connected to a shade of any size and shape connected to a building. This shape forms a Z starting at the top of the shade and extending down the length of the post and finishing at the bracket to form a Z shape. The bracket can be attached to any flat surface to bolt into and allow a solid foundation for the post and shade that it supports.
