Description:

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to an air-powered gun, in particular to the air-powered gun with an air-storage extension tube.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Nowadays, most people pursue leisure activities for refreshment and excitement, and thus air-powered gun has become one of the popular outdoor activities for the training of shooting, exercise and team work. The air-powered gun generally uses a high-pressure gas as power source, and liquid carbon dioxide stored in a steel cylinder is set in contact with room temperature of the outside environment, so that the state of carbon dioxide is changed from a liquid state to a gas state to provide motive power for firing the gun.

[0003] The aforementioned air-powered gun has a barrel and an air chamber interconnected with each other, and the steel cylinder is installed to the air-powered gun and a switch valve is provided and can be opened to introduce the gaseous carbon dioxide into the air chamber. When the pressure accumulated inside the air chamber is greater than atmospheric pressure, the gaseous carbon dioxide is discharged from the barrel.

[0004] However, after the switch valve of the air-powered gun is opened, carbon dioxide enters into the air chamber directly, so that the vaporization path is very short. If a part of the carbon dioxide still not vaporized completely (which is still in the liquid state) is entered into the air chamber and discharged from the barrel for the firing, the firing force will be insufficient and the performance of using the steel cylinder will be lowered.

[0005] In view of the aforementioned problems, the inventor of the present invention based on years of experience in the related industry to conduct researches and experiments, and finally provided the present invention to overcome the problems of the prior art.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] Therefore, it is a primary objective of the present invention to provide an air-powered gun with an air-storage extension tube that stores liquid carbon dioxide contained in a steel cylinder into an air-storage extension tube before the liquid carbon dioxide enters into an air chamber, so as to achieve the effects of extending the vaporization time, increasing the firing force of the air-powered gun, and improving the performance of using the steel cylinder.

[0007] To achieve the aforementioned objective, the present invention provides an air-powered gun with an air-storage extension tube, comprising: a gun body; an air inlet module, including an air chamber and a switch valve, and the air chamber being disposed inside the gun body and having an inlet, and the switch valve being installed corresponding to the inlet; a trigger, pivotally coupled to the gun body; a hammer, coupled to the gun body and linked with the trigger, and capable of pressing at or detaching from the switch valve; a pressurized bottle chamber, formed at the gun body; and an air-storage extension tube, fixed to the gun body, and having an end interconnected to the inlet and the other end interconnected to the pressurized bottle chamber, and the air-storage extension tube being disposed between the trigger and the hammer, and having at least one turn.

[0008] The present invention has the following effects:

[0009] The liquid carbon dioxide in the steel cylinder is entered and stored into the air-storage extension tube first. Since the total length of the air-storage extension tube is greater than 3 centimeters, the vaporization time is extended to achieve the effects of improving the using efficiency of the steel cylinder and the firing impact force of the air-powered gun.

[0010] In addition, the air-storage extension tube includes a space formed between the trigger and the hammer and at least one turn. In other words, the air-storage extension tube is installed at a part of the external periphery of the hammer and the trigger to increase the total length of the air-storage extension tube in the limited space, so as to prevent an increase of volume of the air-powered gun and improve the vaporization efficiency of the steel cylinder.

[0011] In addition, the air-powered gun further comprises a blocking element to give the feel of a real gun, so that the hammer has a flip member formed thereon and provided for users to flip, but the blocking element and the hammer are abutted against each other, such that a space is formed between the hammer and the switch valve. Even if the flip member is stricken, a bullet will not be shot, so as to improve the safety of using the air-powered gun of the present invention.

[0029] In the assembly and using status of the air-powered gun with an air-storage extension tube of the present invention, the air inlet module 2 comprises an air chamber 21 and a switch valve 22, wherein the air chamber 21 is disposed inside the gun body 1, and the air chamber 21 has an inlet 211 and a switch valve 22 installed at a position corresponding to the inlet 211; the trigger 3 is pivotally coupled to the gun body 1; the hammer 4 is coupled to the gun body 1 and linked with the trigger 3, and the hammer 4 can press at or detach from the switch valve 22; the pressurized bottle chamber 5 is formed at the gun body 1; the air-storage extension tube 6 is fixed to the gun body 1 and has an end interconnected to the inlet 211 and the other end interconnected to the pressurized bottle chamber 5, and a space is formed between the trigger 3 and the hammer 4 and at least one turn 61 is formed. Therefore, the liquid carbon dioxide in the steel cylinder 100 is stored in the air-storage extension tube 6 before entering into the air chamber 21, so as to achieve the effects of extending the vaporization time, increasing the firing force of the air-powered gun, and the using performance of the steel cylinder.

[0030] With reference to FIGS. 2 to 6 for the using statuses of the air-powered gun of the present invention, the switch valve 22 as shown in FIG. 2 shuts the inlet 211, so that the liquid carbon dioxide in the steel cylinder 100 will be entered and stored into the air-storage extension tube 6. [0033] In addition, the air-powered gun further comprises a blocking element 7. To have the feel of a real gun, the hammer 4 has a flip member 42 provided for users to pull. To avoid firing by pulling the hammer 4 accidentally, a stop portion 712 of the blocking element 7 is abutted against the protruding lever 412 to form a space between the firing surface 411 and the firing pin 221. Therefore, accidents caused by pulling the flip member 42 or shooting out a bullet can be prevented, so as to improve the safety of using the air-powered gun of the present invention.

[0034] In summation of the description above, the present invention improves over the prior art, achieves the expected objectives, and complies with the patent application requirements and thus is dual filed for patent application. While the invention has been described by means of specific embodiments, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention set forth in the claims.
