Protective case for a tablet computer

Abstract

A protection case for tablet computer, includes a foldable cover, and a protection shell that could be connected to the cover in different ways. The protection shell includes a curve-shaped base plate that could perfectly fit the back of the tablet computer, and four hooks that located at the corners of the base plate. This protection case is easy to use and can prevent the tablet computer from damages.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present invention relates to a protective case for a tablet computer, and more especially, to a protective case used to hold and protect iPad products.

[0004] At present, the iPad tablet computer produced by Apple Inc. has become popular all over the world and a symbol of "fashion". Since the product is a tablet style, it is inconvenient to use and carry about without other auxiliary equipment. Therefore, some packing devices for the tablet computer are available on the market for carrying the tablet computer. However, these devices fail to provide a support for a tablet computer and are inconvenient to use.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The present invention aims at providing a protective case for a tablet computer capable of containing a tablet computer and being used as a tablet computer support, thus achieving convenient utilization and prevention of the tablet computer from accidental damage.

[0006] To realize the purpose above, a protective case is provided by the present invention, comprising a foldable cover, and a protective shell that may be connected to the cover in different ways. The protective shell includes a curve-shaped base plate that perfectly fits the back of the tablet computer, and four hooks that are located at the corners of the base plate.

[0007] Preferably, two baffles are configured on the edges of both sides of the protective shell, one of the two baffles is connected and integrated with the hooks located at the two corresponding corners and the other which is provided with a notch is connected and integrated with the hooks located at the two corresponding corners.

[0008] Preferably, elliptical magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case, is configured on the back of the base plate of the protective shell.

[0009] Preferably, strip-shaped magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case when using the tablet computer, is configured on the external surface of the baffles of the protective shell.

[0010] Preferably, round magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case when using the tablet computer, is configured on the back of the structure that end faces of the protective shell are provided with the four hooks.

[0012] The favorable effects of the present invention are as follows: Within this structure, the two curve-shaped baffles are configured on the edges of both side of the protective shell and the four hooks are at the corner, then the iPad tablet computer can be fastened tightly in the protective shell to prevent it from falling; afterwards, the protective shell and tablet computer are put in the protective case for the convenience of carrying. When using the tablet computer, lay the protective shell in the protective case together with the tablet computer and adjust the angle, then affix it on the protective case. Since the angle can be adjusted arbitrarily, it is easy to use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0020] As shown in FIG. 1-3, a protective case for a tablet computer is provided by the present invention, comprising a foldable cover 1, and a protective shell 2 that may be connected to the cover 1 in different ways. The protective shell 2 includes a curve-shaped base plate 21 that perfectly fits the back of the tablet computer, and four hooks 22 located at the corners of the base plate.

[0024] FIG. 6 shows the third application embodiment of the present invention, wherein the iPad is put in the wide-open cover 1 together with the protective shell 2 and connects with the flannelette of the corresponding internal surface of the cover 1 through elliptical magic tape 25 configured on the back of the protective shell 2 and round magic tape 26 configured on the back of the structure that end faces of the protective shell 2 are provided with the four hooks 22, the arrangement angle is different from the angle above to adapt different operation habits for the convenient operation of the iPad.

Claims

1. A protective case for a tablet computer, comprising a foldable cover and a protective shell that may be connected to the cover in different ways, wherein the protective shell includes a curve-shaped base plate that perfectly fits the back of the tablet computer, and four hooks that are located at the corners of the base plate.

The protective case, according to claim 1, wherein two baffles are configured on the edges of both sides of the protective shell, one baffle is connected and integrated with the hooks located at the two corresponding corners and the other which is provided with a notch is connected and integrated with the hooks located at the two corresponding corners.

3. The protective case, according to claim 1, wherein elliptical magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case, is configured on the back of the base plate of the protective shell.

4. The protective case, according to claim 2, wherein elliptical magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case, is configured on the back of the base plate of the protective shell.

5. The protective case, according to claim 2, wherein strip-shaped magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case when using the tablet computer, is configured on the external surfaces of the baffles of the protective shell.

6. The protective case, according to claim 4, wherein strip-shaped magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case when using the tablet computer, is configured on the external surfaces of the baffles of the protective shell.

7. The protective case, according to claim 1, wherein round magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case when using tablet computer, is configured on the back of the structure that end faces of the protective shell are provided with the four hooks.

8. The protective case, according to claim 2, wherein round magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case when using tablet computer, is configured on the back of the structure that end faces of the protective shell are provided with the four hooks.

9. The protective case, according to claim 3, wherein round magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case when using tablet computer, is configured on the back of the structure that end faces of the protective shell are provided with the four hooks.

10. The protective case, according to claim 4, wherein round magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case when using tablet computer, is configured on the back of the structure that end faces of the protective shell are provided with the four hooks.

11. The protective case, according to claim 5, wherein round magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case when using tablet computer, is configured on the back of the structure that end faces of the protective shell are provided with the four hooks.

12. The protective case, according to claim 6, wherein round magic tape, used to connect with the internal surface of the protective case when using tablet computer, is configured on the back of the structure that end faces of the protective shell are provided with the four hooks.

13. The protective case, according to claim 1, wherein the external surface of the protective case is made of leather material and the internal surface is made of flexible materials such as flannelette.
