DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0022] The following description is demonstrative in nature and is not intended to limit the scope of the invention or its application of uses.
[0023] There are a number of significant design features and improvements incorporated within the invention.
[0024] The current invention is a diaper bag 1 with an adjustable shoulder strap 10, one top compartment 150, two side compartments 130 and 140 with one being an insulated compartment 140 for cold/warm storage compartment for cold/warm storage, two side pouches, and insolated pouch 160 and a normal pouch 170 at either end of the bag 1.
[0025] FIG. 1a shows a front view of the Diaper Bag 1 and FIG. 1b show a back view of the Diaper Bag 1. The Diaper bag consists of a bag 10 that has a rounded triangle shape sides 20 as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 with a square bottom 40 as shown in FIG. 5. The adjustable shoulder strap 15 connects to the top 50 of the diaper bag 1.
[0026] There are two side pouches 160 and 170 pouches at either end of the bag again with one being insolated for cold storage for items like bottles 165. Each of these has an opening at the top with elastic or an elastic material to keep the top of the pouch closed.
[0027] FIGS. 3 and 4 show cross sections of the diaper bag showing the compartments. There are two lower compartments 130 and 140 each rectangular in shape and are in the bottom part of the diaper bag 1. The insolated compartment 140 has insolated material covering the outsides. This insolated compartment 140 is used to hot or cold items such as food or drinks. The non-insolated compartment 130, in the preferred embodiment, is used to store things like wipes and diapers, This is also where the roll out mat 80 which is attached to the diaper bag 1 through hook and loop fasteners 85 to the bottom of the non-insolated compartment 130. This mat 80 rolls out away from the diaper bag 1 and gives the user or parent a clean spot to change their children. The mat 80 is stored in rolled up when not being used. The mat 80 is detachable from the bag 1 which is very unique to this invention.
[0028] The two lower compartments are accessed through compartment lids 120 that can open and shut in the front and back of the diaper bag 1. These compartment lids are held closed using a magnetic snaps 70. The compartment lids 120 open up to 90 degrees so that the lie flat against the surface that the diaper bag 1 is on allowing for the mat 80 rolled out flat, as shown in FIGS. 7, 8, and 9. A child 200 can be placed on the rolled out mat 80 for changing or cleaning as shown in FIG. 10.
[0029] The mat 80 is made of form or another type of soft thin material such as fabric within an outer water resist material such as plastic or vinyl or washable cloth. When stored is it in a rolled up position as shown in FIG. 4. It is rolled out the side of the diaper bag 1 when the compartment lid 120 is opened and laid out flat as shown in FIG. 7.
[0030] The diaper bag 1 has an adjustable strap 15 that is attached at two points on the top of the diaper bag 1 through any normal type of attachment means which can include being sewn on or attached to a ring attached to the diaper bag 1. The strap 15 can adjust its length to accommodate different sized users. In the preferred embodiment the strap 15 is adjusted using a standard adjustment means such as buckle or pull strap.
