DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0016] Referring to FIGS. 1-3, air cooling & humidifying device 10 of the present invention is applied to air conditioning industry, which comprising: an air supply unit 12, a high-pressure air generator 14, a low-pressure air generator 16 and an atomizer 18.
[0017] The air supply unit 12 is provided with a looped hollow frame 22, wherein a partition 24 is extended to segregate it into a high-pressure air chamber 26 and a low-pressure air chamber 28; an air vent 30 of looped slot extended to one side of the frame 22 and connected with high-pressure air chamber 26 and low-pressure air chamber 28; a platy regulator 31, made of elastic material, arranged at one side of the air vent 30, and used to withstand air pressure and regulate the aperture of the air vent 30.
[0018] The high-pressure air generator 14 is connected with the high-pressure air chamber 26 via a transfer pipe 32, and consists of a motor 33 and a fan 34, of which the motor 33 is used to drive the fan 34 for generating and feeding high-pressure air to the high-pressure air chamber 26, and then spraying out via the air vent 30.
[0019] The low-pressure air generator 16 is connected with the low-pressure air chamber 28 via a transfer pipe 35, and consists of a motor 36 and a fan 38, of which the motor 36 is used to drive the fan 38 for generating and feeding low-pressure air to the low-pressure air chamber 28 via the transfer pipe 35, and then spraying out via the air vent 30.
[0020] The atomizer 18 is a common ultrasonic oscillation atomizer or a high-pressure air atomization device, which is connected with the high-pressure air chamber 26 via a transfer pipe 39, and used to atomize and mix water into high-pressure air and finally spray out via the air vent 30.
[0021] In addition, it also comprises a controller 19, which is connected electrically with the high-pressure air generator 14, low-pressure air generator 16 and atomizer 18, and used to control the operation of generators 14, 16 and atomizer 18; this controller is designed through configuration of circuit, electronic components or control chips, etc.
[0022] With this design, the air cooling & humidifying device 10 of the present invention can be applied to air conditioning system, with its operating mode, features and efficacies described below:
[0023] Referring to FIG. 4, the air supply unit 12 is arranged at air outlet of the exhaust duct 40, whilst the high-pressure air generator 14, low-pressure air generator 16 and atomizer 18 are arranged outside of the exhaust duct 40. During operation, the controller 19 is used to drive the low-pressure air generator 16, low-pressure air is sprayed via air vent 30 from the low-pressure air chamber 28 (spraying distance over 2 m); as low-pressure air is sprayed rapidly out of air outlet of the exhaust duct 40, it is possible to generate air flow within the looped frame 22, and increase the flow rate towards air outlet of the exhaust duct 40, thereby improving the efficiency of air conditioning, e.g.: air flow and heat conversion.
[0024] Secondly, when it is intended to reduce rapidly air temperature in a certain space, the controller 19 is used to drive high-pressure air generator 14 and atomizer 18, so high-pressure air is sprayed via air vent 30 from the high-pressure air chamber 26 (spraying distance over 4-6 m); and the atomizer 18 could atomize and mix water into high-pressure air for spraying out; this could increase the flow rate towards air outlet of the exhaust duct 40, and allow atomized air to absorb heat in the air, thereby improving the efficiency of air conditioning through natural heat conversion.
[0025] The air cooling & humidifying device of the present invention could improve air exhaust efficiency and also accelerate heat exchange for rapid temperature drop by absorbing heat in the air with atomized water. So, the present invention could rapidly reduce air temperature and adjust the humidity in a way for energy conservation and emission reduction.
[0026] Moreover, the present invention provides an air cooling & humidifying method within buildings, which drives ambient air flow from air vent 30, and then send atomized steam to the air vent 30, such that atomized steam of air mixture is sprayed to the intended space, and then energy in the space could be absorbed through air blow and atomization for natural heat exchange and temperature drop.
[0027] Referring to FIG. 5, the air cooling & humidifying device 50 of another preferred embodiment of the present invention is structured almost the same with said device 10; the difference lies in that: it can be applied to a fan, and comprises a casing 52, which contains a holding portion 54; the air supply unit 56 is connected with the holding portion 54, while the high-pressure air generator, low-pressure air generator and atomizer are arranged into the holding portion 54. With this design, the air cooling & humidifying device 50 of the present invention can be placed in any indoor position (e.g.: used as a typical fan); when the user intends to enjoy air blowing, air flow could be driven rapidly through air supply unit 56 by just starting the low-pressure air generator; in the event of higher temperature in an indoor space, the high-pressure air generator and atomizer could be started again, allowing atomized water to absorb heat and reduce indoor temperature rapidly.
[0028] Furthermore, the air cooling & humidifying device of the present invention can be equipped with a humidity or temperature sensor electrically connected with the controller, permitting to sense indoor humidity and temperature, and drive automatically the high-pressure air generator and atomizer for automatic air conditioning.
[0029] The atomizer of the present invention is designed into either an ultrasonic oscillation atomizer or an atomization nozzle that's arranged at one side of the high-pressure air chamber (a few), and used to atomize and mix atomized water into high-pressure air and then spray out.
[0030] To sum up, the air cooling & humidifying device and method of the present invention can be applied to air conditioner, e.g.: installed at air outlet of exhaust duct or used as a fan. This could improve air exhaust efficiency and also accelerate heat exchange for rapid temperature drop by absorbing heat in the air with atomized water. So, the present invention could rapidly reduce air temperature and CO2 emissions for environmental protection; hence the following claims are made with respect to the utility patent in conformity with relevant regulations.
