Patent application number: 20110252538

Abstract:

The unique quality of this device is it allows a person to trim the hair along the neckline without the assistance of another. The user would simply position the Neckliner around their head, placing the edge of the Neckliner along the hairline at the back of the neck to be trimmed. The user would then simply follow the edge of the Neckliner with electronic hair clippers for a clean look. Because the Neckliner is waterproof, the user could also use shaving cream and a safety razor to get a barbershop quality neckline. The Neckliner can be in any color that offers a clear contrast to the hair color of the person using it.

Claims:

1. The Neckliner is the only waterproof headband, that when worn allows the wearer to trim the hair along the back of the neck without the assistance of another.

[0008] A waterproof, rubberized headband, one size fits all, approximately 2 inches wide and approximately 1/8 inch thick.

[0009] The Neckliner is a headband that when worn allows the wearer to trim the hair along the back of the neck without the assistance of another. The device can be elastic, waterproof and a one size fits all headband or a waterproof headband which fastens at the front using Velcro, snaps, buttons, or any commonly used fastener.
