Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001]1. Field of the Invention

[0002]The present invention combines a typical beverage cooler with sound. There are many different cooler designs and there are many different entertainment devices that play sounds, but there is no beverage cooler that plays sound. The novel idea of adding sound to a beverage cooler will add entertainment value to a normally unentertaining object. Some coolers may have sayings or advertising written on them, but adding sound will take the cooler to a higher entertainment value. The sound device could play music, tell jokes or advertise a company or product. This product will also have the ability for the consumer to record custom messages.

[0003]2. Description of the Prior Art

[0004]There are no prior art, which combines a beverage cooler with sound. There are many patents of beverage coolers, such as U.S. Pat No. 5,709,105, which adapt a beverage cooler to a cup holder and U.S. Pat No. 6,206,223, which adds a lid to a beverage cooler, but none of these patent uses sound in their design. There are also many sound generation devices such as U.S. Pat No. 5,915,734 GREETING CARD AND SOUND, which adds a sound device to a greeting card and U.S. Pat No. 4,004,815 MINIATURE TOY SOUND DEVICE, which plays a sound when a string is pulled, but there is no type of sound devices placed in a beverage cooler.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005]This beverage can cooler is provided in the form of an elongated tube in which a typical twelve-ounce beverage can or various bottles is easily being inserted and extracted. The tube is closed at the bottom by a disk which contains the sound device attached by an adhesive or other suitable means. The cooler may be made of many suitable materials that have good insulating properties, such as open cell plastics, closed cell plastics, thermoplastic, thermoset, cloth or any combination thereof, and not limited to. For entertainment purposes, this can cooler will play various sounds, such as music or phrases when the can or bottle is placed inside the cooler, and when the can or bottle is taken out of the cooler. The sound device will also have the ability to record custom messages from the end user or by download from the internet or other devices; and have the ability to shut off or change the sound with a switch.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0013]The BEVERAGE CAN COOLER WITH SOUND DEVICE IN BOTTOM as show in FIG. 1-7, includes a typical can cooler with a sound module.

[0014]The BEVERAGE CAN COOLER WITH SOUND DEVICE IN BOTTOM consists of an ELONGATED TUBE (balloon 1), BOTTOM (balloon 2), and the SOUND MODULE (balloon 3).

[0015]The ELONGATED TUBE (balloon 1) will be constructed such that a typical twelve-ounce beverage can or bottle is easily being inserted and extracted; and may be made out of various insulating materials.

[0016]The BOTTOM (balloon 2) will be constructed of various insulating materials and adhered to the SOUND MODULE (BALLOON 3).

[0017]The END CAPS (balloon 3) will enclose the sound module pocket; and be adhered too the ELONGATED TUBE (balloon 1).

[0018]The SOUND MODULE (balloon 3) will consist of a TOP BUTTON CASE (balloon 4), a PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY (balloon 5), and BOTTOM CASE (balloon 6) and adhered to the ELONGATED TUBE (balloon 1).

[0019]The TOP BUTTON CASE (balloon 4) purpose is to press down or release the switch (balloon 8) when a can or bottle is inserted or extracted from the sleeve (balloon 1); which will activate the sound.

[0020]The PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY (balloon 5) will consist of the following major components; BOARD (balloon 7) for circuits and components; SWITCH (balloon 8) to activate the sounds either by pressing the switch to complete the circuit or by releasing the switch creating an open circuit; BATTERY (balloon 9) to provide power; MICROPHONE (balloon 10) to provide means of recording custom sounds, this item is an optional feature; CONNECTOR (balloon 11) to provide means to download sounds from a PC or other devices, this item is an optional feature; SLIDE SWITCH (balloon 12) to provide a means to turn off sound or switch to other sounds or feature, by holding down the switch the user will be able to record a sound through the MICROPHONE (balloon 10), this item is an optional feature; SPEAKER (balloon 14) will provide a means to play sound.
