d case with a removable liner and is insulated to
hold items in their specific temperatures for a longer period of time.
The removable liner zips and holds the original contents of the suitcase
so it can be separated from the hard shell. The liner can also be used
separately from the hard shell to hold items with it's own handles and
shoulder strap. Coolagge can then be used as two separate items. Coolagge
is lockable for transport, such as checked baggage, but can be opened for
inspection. Coolagge also has wheels affixed to the bottom of the shell
for walking transport, and is equipped with a collapsable handle to drag
Coolagge on it's wheels. The hard shell also has handles on each side for
lifting.Claims:
1. Luggage that is also a cooler and has a removable zippered liner that
can be used for a varety of reasons including, but not limited to, an
extra piece of luggage for additional items needed to transport, or
simply to transport existing items because the cooler is full of
perishable items.Description:
[0001]This product is luggage and a cooler in one unit. The outer shell is
an insulated container with wheels located on the bottom rear of the the
unit. A handle is attached to the front of the container to drag it
along. There are also two short handles, one on either side to grab the
container for lifting. There can also be a shoulder strap on the inside
liner that is removable for easier transport if it is transported
separately from the outer container. A fastening system could be attached
that holds the inside liner on top of the outer shell if both needed to
be transported separately. The lid has a latch that is lockable for
travel so the insides do not fall out during transport. The inside of the
cooler is a liner that is shaped like the interior of the container.
[0002]This liner has a zippered top and two handles attached to the top of each side of the liner. it can be built from a variety of material including, but not limited to, a waterproof material. The liner slides into the hard shell container where it is stowed during transport. The liner can then be removed from the outer shell when the destination is reached. This way, all items are still in a soft container and the outer container can then be used for cold storage or as needed additional storage for bringing purchased items back in a safe, hard shelled container. The inside liner can be of a variety of shapes so that more than one soft liner can be put into the shell. (for example, A separate bag for toiletries could be installed next to the larger inside liner, each of which would fit into the interior of the outer shell.)
[0003]FIG. 1: Front of coolagge showing handle in extended position, two lockable latches, wheels for transport, and base pad to keep Coolagge level.
[0004]FIG. 2: Side view of Coolagge showing removable insert with handles and shoulder strap. Also showing zipper top for insert to hold contents inside insert of Coolagge. Handle in extended position
[0005]FIG. 3: Side view showing removable insert with handles and shoulder strap plus optional separate, smaller removable insert. Both inserts zipper top. Handle in extended position.
[0006]In conclusion, I, Donald Martin Mosby, to the best of my knowledge, am the sole inventor of Coolagge. After thorough searching, I have found nothing remotely close.
