Abstract

In a preferred embodiment, the stand is a simple design that can be placed on the ground and carried with the golfer while golfing. FIELD OF INVENTION

[0001]The present invention relates to stands for golf clubs. More particularly, the present invention relates to a stand to hold clubs while golfing.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002]It is necessary to have ones golf clubs with them while playing golf on a golf course. The clubs need to remain with a person while on the greens of the golf course. Many times, one will need to carry multiple clubs on the greens while playing golf. The proper technique is to place the extra golf clubs on the ground. If it is raining outside or the course it wet, the clubs may get wet while lying on the ground. Also, it may be difficult for one to pick up the clubs because of medical conditions, such as, but not limited to, back troubles.

[0003]Many devices have been developed where the owner wheels the clubs with him manually or carries the clubs with them in a gas operated golf cart. Also, a golfer may have a caddy go along with him to carry his or her golf clubs; however, this isn't economical for many people. In a gas operated golf cart, the owner may be required to carry his or her golf clubs with him on the course and lay them on the ground.

[0004]None of the options above are well suited for carrying multiple golf clubs with one on a course while playing on the greens. Also, many people can't afford to hire a caddy to carry their golf clubs with them.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006]The invention is an improved stand for holding golf clubs while golfing on the greens of a golf course. The stand for golf clubs may be carried along with the golfer while carrying multiple golf clubs.

[0007]The design of the stand for golf clubs is unique. In a preferred embodiment, the stand is a simple design that can be placed on the ground and carried with the golfer while golfing. This is especially useful, but not limited to, when carrying the putter, the sand wedge and other clubs near the golf hole. It is an improved stand for holding golf clubs while golfing on the greens of a golf course. The stand may represent a simple design that can be stood on the ground and carried with the golfer while golfing. This is especially useful, but not limited to, when carrying the putter, the sand wedge and other clubs near the golf hole.

[0012]While the present invention is susceptible of embodiments in various forms, as shown in the drawings, hereinafter will be described the presently preferred embodiments of the invention with the understanding that the present disclosure is to be considered as an exemplification of the invention and is not intended to limit the invention to the specific embodiments illustrated.

[0013]FIG. 1 describes the overall operations for the stand for golf clubs. This example describes a handle 1 for gripping. The handle 1 for gripping is similar to, but not limited to, the golf club rubber handles. The handle 1 may be placed at the top of the pole 2. The pole 2 may be made of, but not limited to, the same material used for golf clubs, such as, but not limited to, graphite or aluminum. The pole 2 also has a base 4 attached to it. The base 4 may be made, but not limited to, graphite or plastic. The base 4 can just be a square base that will stand on the ground. The pole 3 also has one or more holding pieces 3 attached to it. The one or more holding pieces 3 may allow the golf clubs to lean against the stand for golf clubs without falling over. The one or more holding pieces 3 may be made of, but not limited to, graphite or plastic. The base 4 and holding pieces 3 may be attached to the pole 2 by, but not limited to, glue or welding the materials together.

[0014]The benefit of the stand for golf clubs is that it may provide the ability to keep the golf clubs with the golfer, but not having the lie the clubs on the ground. The stand may represent a simple design that can be stood on the ground and carried with the golfer while golfing. This is especially useful, but not limited to, when carrying the putter, the sand wedge and other clubs near the golf hole. This is helpful for, but not limited to, individuals who have back problems, health issues, or don't want to lay their clubs on the ground in the rain. Other options may be more costly, such as hiring a caddy, or require more manual work to carry all of the golf clubs via a manual wheeled cart.
