SUSPENDED CASE CONTAINING A PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE TO PROVIDE CONVENIENT OPERATION

Abstract

a first case half, a second case half, two shoulder straps, two suspended bands, and a waist belt. The second case half is connected with the first case half pivotally to be lifted movably and reveal a display of a computer held in the first case half through a window of the second case half. The shoulder straps and the waist are set on a flank of the first case half, and the suspended bands are connected between the shoulder straps and the second case half. After hanging the shoulder straps on the user's shoulder and tying the waist belt around the user's waist, the suspended case is suspended from the shoulder straps and in front of the user. As a result, applying the suspended case is more convenient for the user to carry and co-operate with the computer.

BACKGROUND

[0003]The present invention relates to a case, and more particularly to a suspended case containing a portable electronic device such as a table PC, laptop etc. to provide convenient operation.

[0004]2. Description of Related Art

[0005]Progress in technology has led to electronics devices becoming smaller and more compact. As a result, many portable management electronic devices have been developed including radio frequency identification (RFID) devices. Operators typically use these devices to manage and record inventory in large warehouses.

[0006]When coupling an RFID device with a notebook computer, the notebook computer is stored and carried in a case. When the RFID device needs to be used, the notebook usually has to be removed from the case.

[0007]Always having to remove the notebook whenever the operator wishes to use the notebook computer and RFID device simultaneously is inconvenient and inefficient. Furthermore, there is a danger that since the operator requires both hands to manipulate the devices, the operator may drop the notebook computer thereby causing irreparable damage to the notebook computer.

[0008]Therefore there is a need for a case that can hold both a notebook and an RFID device and that can enable the notebook computer and the RFID device to work together simultaneously with improved efficiency and less chance for the operator to drop the notebook computer or the RFID device.

SUMMARY

[0009]It is therefore an aspect to provide a portable suspended case for the user to conveniently carry and efficiently operate an electrical equipment simultaneously.

[0010]It is therefore another aspect to provide a suspended case thereby shifting the location of the electrical equipment placed on a movable plate by a linear guide in accordance with the user's need.

[0011]In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the suspended case includes a first case half, a second case half, two shoulder straps, two suspended bands, and a waist belt. The first case half is made of a hard material, and includes an opening and a room thereby holding a computer. The second case half is made of a soft material, and includes a window revealing the display of the computer. The second case half is connected with the first case half pivotally to be lifted movably from the opening of the first case half.

[0012]The shoulder straps are set on a flank of the first case half thereby being hung on the user's shoulder. Each of the suspended bands includes a first end fastened on one of the shoulder straps and a second end fastened on the second case half thereby suspending the case form the shoulder straps. The waist belt is located on the flank of the first case half thereby being tied around the user's waist.

[0013]In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, the suspended case includes a first case half, a second case half, two shoulder straps, two suspended bands, and a waist belt. The first case half is made of a hard material, and includes an opening, a room, a plate, and a linear guide. The linear guide in which the plate is received is fixed in the room such that the plate is capable of sliding along the linear guide. The second case half is made of a soft material, and connected with the first case half to be lifted movably from the opening of the first case half.

[0014]The shoulder straps are set on a flank of the first case half thereby being hung on the user's shoulder. Each of the suspended bands includes a first end fastened on one of the shoulder straps and a second end fastened on the second case half thereby suspending the case form the shoulder straps. The waist belt is located on the flank of the first case half thereby being tied around the user's waist.

[0015]As a result, applying the suspended case of the present invention is more convenient for the user to carry and co-operate with the electrical equipment. In addition, the electrical equipment is set on the plate received in the linear guide such that the user can regulate the location thereof to satisfy user's needs.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0026]Refer to FIG. 1. FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of a first embodiment of a suspended case in accordance with the present invention. The suspended case includes a first case half 110, a second case half 120, two shoulder straps 130, two suspended bands 140, and a waist belt 150.

[0027]The first case half 110 is made of a hard material, and includes an opening 111 and a room 112 thereby holding an electronic device such as a portable computer 160.

[0028]The second case half 120 is made of a soft material, and includes a window 121. The second case half 120 is connected with the first case half 110 pivotally to be lifted movably from the opening 111 of the first case half 100.

[0029]Refer to FIG. 2. The computer 160 includes a body 161, an upper cover 162, and a joint unit 163. The upper cover 162 is covered on the body 161 to shelter the keyboard. The joint unit 163 is connected between the body 161 and the upper cover 162, and has a first hinge 1631 and a second hinge 1632. The first hinge 1631 provides a first orientation range whereby the upper cover 162 is capable of being lifted from the body 161, and the second hinge 1632 provides a second orientation range whereby the upper cover 162 is capable of being rotated on the body 161 such that the display 1621 of the upper cover 162 can be rotated from the first position facing the body 161 to the second position facing the window 121 of the second case half 120 for reveal.

[0030]The shoulder straps 130 are set on a flank 113 of the first case half 110 wherein each of the shoulder straps 130 includes a strap body 131 and a first regulative ring 132 placed through the strap body 131. Therefore, the length of the shoulder strap 130 can be adjusted in accordance with user's body shape by shifting the location of the first regulative ring 132 on the strap body 131.

[0031]Each of the suspended bands 140 includes a band body 141 and a second regulative ring 142 placed through the band body 141. The band body 141 has a first end 143, and a second end 144 wherein the first end 143 is fastened on one of the shoulder straps 130, and the second end 144 is fastened on the second case half 120. When in use, the suspended bands 140 are stretched to suspend the second case half 120 from the shoulder straps 130. In addition, the length of the suspended bands 140 can be adjusted in accordance with user's need by shifting the location of the second regulative ring 142 on the band body 141.

[0032]The waist belt 150 is located on the flank 113 of the first case half 110, and defined between the shoulder straps 130. The waist belt 150 includes a first belt half 151, a second belt half 152, two third regulative rings 153, a hook clasp 154, and a loop clasp 155. The third regulative rings 153 are respectively placed through the first belt half 151 and the second belt half 152. The hook clasp 154 is connected on one end of the first belt half 151, and the loop clasp 155 is connected on one end of the second belt half 152. Consequently, the waist belt 150 can be tied on user's waist tightly through not only the engagement between the hook clasp 154 and the loop clasp 155 but also length adjustment by shifting the locations of the third regulative rings 153. Moreover, the suspended case further includes a handle 170 for carrying.

[0033]Refer to FIG. 3. After hanging the shoulder strap 130 on the shoulder and tying the waist belt 150 on user's waist, the computer 160 held within the suspended case is suspended ahead for the user to more conveniently interface with the computer 160.

[0034]Refer to FIG. 4. FIG. 4 illustrates a perspective view of a second embodiment of a suspended case in accordance with the present invention. The suspended case of the second embodiment includes a first case half 210, a second case half 220, two shoulder straps 230, two suspended bands 240, a waist belt 250, and two handles 260.

[0035]The structures of the shoulder straps 230, the suspended bands 240, and the waist belt 250 are identical to those of the first embodiment wherein the two ends of each of the suspended bands 240 are respectively fastened on the interior of the first case half 210 and one of the shoulder straps 230. The handles 260 are respectively mounted on the flank of the first case half 210 and the flank of the second case half 220. In addition, the performance of the shoulder straps 230, the suspended bands 240, and the waist belt 250 are identical to those of the first embodiment as well, so there is no more detailed description.

[0036]The first case half 210 is made of a hard material, and includes an opening 211 and a room 212, a rear opening 213, a plate 214, and a linear guide 215. The linear guide 215 is fixed in the room 212, and the plate 214 is movably received on the linear guide 215 thereby being slid along the linear guide 215.

[0037]The second case half 220 is made of a soft material, and connected with the first case half 210 by a flexible junction or hinge 221 to be lifted from the opening 211 and the rear opening 213.

[0039]The suspended case of the second embodiment can contain the conventional notebook 270 or the computer 160 shown in FIG. 2, and the conventional notebook 270 is applied herein for illustration. With regard to the configuration during use status, the second case half 220 is lifted from the first case half 210, and the notebook 270 is carried on the plate 214. Hence, the suspended case is portable by the shoulder straps 230 hung on the shoulder and the waist belt 250 tied on the waist, and the notebook 270 in front of the user and carried on the plate 214 can be shifted into a proper position for the user through the slide along the linear guide 215.

[0040]Refer to FIG. 7, which illustrates a folded configuration of the second embodiment for use. The first case half 210 is a hard case such that the user can work thereon regarding as a table after placing the second case half 220 on a plane surface.

Claims

1. A suspended case, comprising:a first case half made of a hard material and comprising an opening and a room to hold a computer;a second case half connected with the first case half pivotally and comprising a window exposing a display of the computer;a pair of shoulder straps set on a flank of the first case half;a pair of suspended bands respectively comprising a first end and a second end wherein the first ends are fastened respectively on the shoulder straps, and the second ends are fastened on the second case half; anda waist belt located on the flank of the first case half.

2. The suspended case of claim 1, wherein each of the shoulder straps comprises a strap body and a first regulative ring placed through the strap body.

3. The suspended case of claim 1, wherein each of the suspended bands comprises a band body and a second regulative ring placed through the band body.

4. The suspended case of claim 1, wherein the waist belt comprises a first belt half, a second belt half, two third regulative rings respectively placed through the first belt half and the second belt half, a hook clasp connected on the first belt half, and a loop clasp connected on the second belt half.

5. A suspended case, comprising:a first case half made of a hard material and comprising an opening, a room, a plate, and a linear guide wherein the linear guide is fixed in the room, and the plate is movably received on the linear guide;a second case half connected with the first case half pivotally;a pair of shoulder straps set on a flank of the first case half;a pair of suspended bands respectively comprising a first end and a second end wherein the first ends are fastened respectively on the shoulder straps, and the second ends are fastened on an internal surface of the first case half; anda waist belt located on the flank of the first case half.

6. The suspended case of claim 5, wherein each of the shoulder straps comprises a strap body and a first regulative ring placed through the strap body.

7. The suspended case of claim 5, wherein each of the suspended bands comprises a band body and a second regulative ring placed through the band body.

8. The suspended case of claim 5, wherein the waist belt comprises a first belt half, a second belt half, two third regulative rings respectively placed through the first belt half and the second belt half, a hook clasp connected on the first belt half, and a loop clasp connected on the second belt half.
