Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001]1. Field of the invention

[0002]The present invention relates to a corrugated board, more particularly one, which is made of aluminum, environmentally friendly, and fast to process and manufacture, and has a relatively good heat-dissipation capability.

[0003]2. Brief Description of the Prior Art

[0004]Metallic corrugated boards are used as major materials for constructing garages, warehouses, provisional houses, and houses for special purposes by people in tropical/subtropical countries, which are usually situated in alfresco places and vacant lands such as courtyards and tops of buildings to help to block direct sunlight. Such corrugated boards are inexpensive, and are joined together by means of screws. Therefore, such houses can be rapidly and easily assembled and disassembled, and it takes relatively little time and expense to construct such a house. Consequently, houses comprising such metallic corrugated boards are getting more popular.

[0005]Shown in FIG. 4 is a common metallic corrugated board to be used as a material for iron sheet houses such as provisional houses, and houses for special purposes. The metallic corrugated board comprises several spaced raised portions, and depression portions intervening between the raised portions, and is acid-washed, and electroplated with tin so as not to rust. Furthermore, after the corrugated board is electroplated with tin, it is spray-painted and roasted to be more pleasant-looking and still less likely to rust.

[0006]However, the above metallic corrugated board has the following drawbacks:

[0007]1. The manufacturing method for the corrugated board includes the acid-washing step, and the spray-painting and roasting, which will produce much pollution, being not acceptable in terms of environmental protection.

[0008]2. The tin plating and the paint over the corrugated board will produce pollution when the corrugated board is discarded.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0009]It is a main object of the present invention to provide an improvement on a corrugated board structure to overcome the above problems.

[0010]A corrugated board structure according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first board part, and a second board part. The second board part has several extension plates thereon, and several propping plates perpendicular and joined to the extension plates. The extension plates each have several through holes thereon. The second board part is securely joined to the first board part at the propping plates thereof such that a space comes into existence between the first and the second board parts to allow heat dissipation by convection in the corrugated board.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0011]The present invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:

[0012]FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the corrugated board of the present invention,

[0013]FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the present invention,

[0014]FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the present invention, and

[0015]FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the prior art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0016]Referring to FIG. 1, a preferred embodiment of a corrugated board structure includes a first board part 1, and a second board part 2, both of which are made of aluminum. The manufacturing and processing method of the board parts 1 and 2 doesn't include acid-washing, electroplating or spray-painting and roasting. Therefore, it causes less harm, and takes relatively little time to manufacture and process the corrugated board of the present invention.

[0017]The first board part 1 has several raised portions 11, and depression portions 12, which are evenly spaced, and intervene between the raised portions 11. The depression portions 12 have several screw holes 13 thereon.

[0018]The second board part 2 has several raised portions 21, and depression portions 22, which are evenly spaced, and intervene between the raised portions 21. The raised portions 21 of the second board part 2 each have an extension plate 23 sticking outwards therefrom. The extension plates 23 each have several through holes 231 thereon. The extension plates 23 each have a propping plate 24 secured on a free end thereof such that the extension plates 23 are perpendicular to the propping plates 24. The propping plates 24 have screw holes 25 thereon.

[0019]In assembly, referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, the first board part 1 is propped on the propping plates 24 of the second board part 2 at the depression portions 12 with the screw holes 13 being each faced with a corresponding said screw hole 25. And, threaded fixing elements 3 are passed through the screw holes 13 and 25 so as to secure the first and the second board parts 1 and 2 together; thus, a space 4 exists between the first and the second board parts 1 and 2 to allow heat dissipation of the corrugated board by convection. In addition, existence of the through holes 231 on the extension plates 23 of the second board part 2 can increase airflow in the space 4 so as to enhance the heat-dissipating capability of the first and the second board parts 1 and 2.

[0020]From the above description, it can be seen that the present invention has the following advantages over the prior art:

[0021]1. Both of the first and the second board parts of the present invention are made of aluminum, and manufactured and processed according to a method that doesn't include acid-washing, electroplating or spray-painting and roasting. Therefore, the manufacturing and processing take relatively little time, and the corrugated board of the present invention has a relatively good heat-dissipation capability.

[0022]2. A space is provided between the first and the second board parts therefore heat dissipation by convection is allowed in the corrugated board.

[0023]3. Through holes are provided on the extension plates of the second board part. Therefore, airflow increases in the space between the first and the second board parts, and heat dissipation capability the corrugated board of the present invention is enhanced.
