of obtaining his stability against movements, combined with the fact that his composing elements (panels and posts made from prefabricated concrete or plastic modules) have all theirs visible faces (the ones viewed from the outside and the ones viewed from the inside of the property which the fence is surrounding) sculpted, (containing hand carved art works), will result in to a "All visible faces sculpted modular fence".

Claims:

1. I claim the concept of "All visible faces sculpted modular fence", "All visible faces sculpted modular fence" being a fence composed from modular elements (prefabricated modules made in any suitable materials, having particular shapes and/or original looks), a fence with his visible faces (made up from the sum of the visible faces of the composing modular elements) situated on both of his sides (one side viewed from the outside of the property surrounded by this fence, the second one viewed from the inside of the property surrounded by this fence) having surfaces (areas) on them containing original carvings (sculptures).

2. I claim the particular "All visible faces sculpted modular fence" detailed described in this invention.

3. I claim the use of any suitable material in making "All visible faces sculpted modular fence".

Description:

[0001]In today's fencing industry particularly the fences made in concrete or plastics modules, the lack of highly decorative role of the fence (besides the protective role) is very noticeable. Few of them have some decorative geometrical visible elements on their visible faces, and if the decorations exist, they are visible just on one side of the fence, the one viewed from the outside of the property surrounded by the fence. Very few fences have some decorative figures or carvings, but, none have decorative hand made carvings on their visible faces of the composing modules situated on both sides of the fence. Originality of this "All visible faces sculpted modular fence" consist in the fact that the fence presented in this invention have decorative hand carved surfaces on his visible faces, faces pertaining to the fence modular components, and situated on both sides of the fence.

[0002]This "All visible faces sculpted modular fence" is made of multiple prefabricated pieces (modules) made in concrete or plastic. A sculpted visible face means a visible face of the fence which contains one or more original hand made decorative carvings. Practically, the composing modules of the fence contains sculpted (decorative hand carved) areas on theirs visible faces of the fence. The sculpted (decorative hand carved) surfaces are situated on both sides of the fence, so much the one viewed from the outside of the property surrounded by this fence, as much the one viewed from the inside of the property surrounded by this fence. Assembling these prefabricated sculpted (carved) modules, in a particular order, I will create a "All visible faces sculpted modular fence". All the carvings (sculpted areas on the visible faces), are originals hand made decorative carvings, and part of this invention, "All visible faces sculpted modular fence". This "All visible faces sculpted modular fence", by his grandeur, elegancy and beauty, is a architectural acquisition for any property that will be surrounded with it.

DESCRIPTION

[0003]I consider an opening of this "All visible faces sculpted modular fence", the length of a part of the fence situated between two consecutive Big Posts (B.P.). The shape and the arrangement of the composing modules of this opening of the "All visible faces sculpted modular fence" is a original idea, and is part of the present invention, "All visible faces sculpted modular fence". The two Big Posts are included in this opening, and have on their visible faces sculpted (carved) areas. At half a distance between the two Big Posts, there is a Small Post (S.P.) aligned on the line that unites the centers of the two Big Posts. Between a Big Post and a Small Post, there is an assemble of many modular plaques, which will compose the fence, being part of the fence (All visible faces sculpted modular fence). These modular plaques have sculpted (carved) areas on their visible face (s). The modular plaques assemble is composed of two parts. One part (bottom side of the assemble) is composed from two plaques ("f" and "f1"), placed along the length of the fence, parallel between them, and another plaque ("e") lid, which will cover the two plaques ("f" and "f1") forming a "tunnel". The second part of the modular plaques assemble, (top side, is composed of three plaques, ("a+b", "c", "d"), which are placed one on top of another, the entire assemble being laid on top of plaque "e". FIG. 2, section A-A, represent the arrangement mode of the plaques "a+b", "c", "d", "e", "f", and "f1", and being visible the "tunnel" made from the two parallel plaques "f`, and "f1", covered by plaque "e", lid. The side faces of the small post (S.P.) and the big post (B.P.) are also viewed in this section.

[0004]The weight of plaques "a=b", "c" and "d" is discharged on plaque "e", lid, witch will discharge his weight (and the weight of the plaques on top of him) on the two parallel plaques "f" ("f1"), witch will discharge their weight (and the weight of the whole assemble who laid on them) on the ground. Plaques "f" and "f1" rest directly on the ground. The weight of the big post (B.P.) and the weight of small post (S.P.) are discharged directly to the ground, both of them lying straight on the ground. The movement forward and back, left or right, of plaques "f` and "f1" is stopped by the Big Post bottom side (with witch is connected in the assembling process) on one side of the plaque, and by assemble "g" (with witch is connected in the assembling process) on the other side of plaque. The movement forward and back, left or right of plaques "a+b", "c" and "d" are stopped by the big post (B.P.) (with witch they're connected in the assembling process) in one side, and the small post (S.P.) (with witch they're connected in the assembling process) in the other side.

[0005]FIG. 1 a) shows a front view of the "All visible faces sculpted modular fence"'s opening. It is a main view of how the "All visible faces sculpted modular fence"'s opening shape is. A top view of this fence opening is shown in FIG. 1 b).

[0006]As shown in FIG. 3 a), the Big Post (B.P.) is composed from two parts, the bottom side and the top side. The Big Post is hollow within, having just outside walls, with a thickness of 3 centimeters.

[0007]A perspective view of the top side of the Big Post is shown in FIG. 3 k). A perspective view of the bottom side of the Big post is shown in FIG. 3 l).

[0008]This Big Post (B.P.) is laid directly on the ground and the stability of it is obtained with the help of four rigid poles, shown in FIG. 3 o). These four rigid poles (posts) arranged within the Big Post and buried 50 cm. in the ground, will realize the stability and sustenance of the Big Post, preventing the movement of the whole Big Post to the right, left, forward and back. The positioning of these four rigid poles can be viewed as in FIG. 3b)--section B-B thru B.P. top side, as in FIG. 3 g)--section C-C thru B.P. bottom side.

[0009]The top side of Big Post rests on bottom side of Big Post. A section thru the top side of Big Post (section B-B) is shown in FIG. 3 b). The top side of Big Post is composed of one single piece, and constitutes one module of the fence opening. The top side of Big Post has two types of faces, "face 1" and "face 2". The position of these faces is visible in FIG. 3 b)--section B-B thru top side of Big Post. A front view of `face 1" of B.P. top side is shown in FIG. 3 e). A front view of "face 2" of top side of B.P. is shown in FIG. 3 f). "Face 1", being a visible face, have a sculpted (carved) area. The hand made original carving for this sculpted area of "face 1" is shown in FIG. 12. "Face 2" is symmetrically vertically divided in two parts ("face 2a" and "face 2b") by a "slot". In this "slot" will insert one end of the plaques "a+b", "c" and "d", at the time of assembling the fence. "Face 2", being a visible face, have 2 sculpted areas, one for each part of the face, respective "face 2a" and "face 2 b". The original hand made carving corresponding to the sculpted area situated on "face 2a" is shown in FIG. 13a. The original hand made carving corresponding to the sculpted area situated on "face 2b" is shown on FIG. 13b. These two carvings (FIG. 13a and FIG. 13b) are a mirrored representation of each other.

[0010]The bottom side of the Big Post is composed of a single part (module). A section thru the bottom side of the Big Post, section C-C, is shown in FIG. 3g). The bottom side of the Big Post have two types of faces, "face 3" and "face 4", which's front views are shown in FIG. 3h) and 3i).

[0011]Face 4" of the bottom side of the Big Post, being a visible face, has a sculpted area. The original hand made carving corresponding to the sculpted area situated on "face 4" is shown in FIG. 14. Section F-F thru "face4", FIG. 3j), shows how the sculpted areas are laid on a face ("face4" of the Big Post in this particular case). Respecting the dimensions of every face of the Big Post which have a sculpted area on her, a transverse section thru them will look similar with the one shown for "face4", in FIG. 3j).

[0012]Face 3" of the bottom side of Big Post (FIG. 3i), has two "slots". Those "slots" are used for mounting one of the plaque's ("f" and "f1") end, realizing the binding of plaques "f" and "f1" with the Big post, bottom side. The two plaques, "f" and "f1" are parallel between them, and the original hand made carvings situated on the sculpted area of the plaques are mirrored each other. The location of the plaques "f" and "f1" in the whole assemble, are visible in FIG. 1a, and FIG. 2. Those two plaques, "f" and "f1" are resting on the ground. Their weight and the weight of the plaques laid on them, (plaque "a+b", plaque "c", plaque "d" and plaque "e") is discharged on the ground. The movement forth and back and left or right of plaques "f" and "f1" is stopped thru the bonding with the assemble "g" thru assembly's "g" slots in one end, and thru the bonding with the Big Post Bottom Side's slots (on face 3).

[0013]A representation of plaque "f" ("f1") is shown in FIG. 5

[0014]A representation in perspective view of assemble "g" is presented in FIG. 4. The role of assemble "g" is to make the bonding of plaques "f" and "f1" with the whole assemble of the fence opening, stopping the movements of the ends of plaques "f" and "f1" and aligning the center of the Small Post with the centers of the two Big Posts between the Small Post is situated. Thru the center square hole (15 cm.×15 cm.) of the assemble "g" will drive the Small Post, 50 cm. into the ground. The roles of the Small Post is to sustain and stabilize from movements the ends of the plaques "a+b", "c" and "d" (thru his specially designed slots), and to stop the movements of assemble "g". The weight of the Small Post is discharged straight to the ground, in which is buried 50 cm.

[0015]A representation of the front view of the Small Post is shown in FIG. 6a). A representation of the top view of the Small Post is shown in FIG. 6b). The small post has two visible faces, one toward the front of the fence, another one toward the back of the fence. Both of those visible faces have identical hand carved surfaces on them. A representation of this carved surface is shown in FIG. 17.

[0016]On top of the two parallel plaques "f" and "f1", situated between the Big Post and assemble "g" (thru which's opening is driven in the ground the Small Post) is laid plaque "e". The top view of plaque "e" is shown in FIG. 11a). A transversal section thru top view of plaque "e" is shown in FIG. 11b). The stability of plaque "e" is realized by herself's shape. Two consecutive plaques "e" (situated between two Big Posts) will create a square opening thru which the Small Post is driven in the ground. This opening is perfectly located above the square hole of assemble "g`. The weight of plaque "e" is discharged on the two parallel plaques "f" and "f1" on which is laid.

[0017]Plaque "d" is mounted by being laid on plaque "e" in to a vertical position with the length straight side at the bottom. The plaque's ends will be introduced in the slot of the Small Post in one side, and in the slot of Big Post Top Side face 2, the other side.

[0018]A representation of the front view of plaque "d" is shown in FIG. 9. The hand carved sculpted areas of plaque "d" are shown in FIG. 24 and FIG. 25. The two carvings are the mirrored image of each other. The carvings situated on front side of plaque "d" are perfectly mirror of the carvings situated on the back side of plaque "d". The it self's shape of plaque "d" will stop the plaque's left or right movement. The slot of Big Post Top Side's face2 and Small Post's slot will stop the movement on forward and back direction.

[0019]Plaque "c" is mounted by laying it on top of plaque "d" in to a vertical position with the length side at the bottom.

[0020]A representation of the front view of plaque "c" is shown in FIG. 8. There are four carved areas on this plaque. Their carvings images are shown in FIG. 20, FIG. 21, FIG. 22 and FIG. 23. The carvings from FIG. 20 and FIG. 23 are identical. Theirs positions are upside down of each other. The carvings from FIG. 21 and FIG. 22 are identical. Theirs positions are upside down of each other. The carvings from FIG. 20 and FIG. 23 are a mirrored image of the carvings from FIG. 21 and FIG. 22. As a matter of fact, the carvings from the top half side of plaque "c" is mirrored on the carvings from the bottom side of plaque "c", and the carvings from the left side of plaque "c" are mirrored on the carvings located on the right side of plaque "c". The carvings situated on the front side of plaque "c" are perfectly mirrored as carvings situated on the back side of plaque "c". There are two symmetrical axis on each face of plaque "c", front face and back face. The end sides of plaque "c" are introduced in the slots of Big Post Top Side's slot and Small Post's slot; this action will stop the movement of plaque "c" toward front or back. Being a perfectly symmetrically plaque, plaque "c" can be turned upside down or front back switched without affecting her mounting position. The weight and shape of plaque "c" will stop the plaque's movements toward left or right.

[0021]On top of plaque "c" will rest plaque "a+b" in to a vertical position, with her corresponding shape side matching the side of plaque "c" on which is resting.

[0022]A representation of front view of plaque "a+b" is shown in FIG. 7. There are two carved areas on this plaque, each being the mirrored image of another. The looks of those carvings are shown in FIG. 18 and FIG. 19. The carvings situated on the front side of plaque "a+b" are the mirrored image of the carvings situated on the back side of plaque "a+b". In the mounting process, any face can play the role of the front side of plaque "a+b". The mounting slots of Big Post and Small Post will stop the movements toward front and back of plaque "a+b". the weight and the shape of plaque "a+b" will stop the plaque's movements toward left or right.

[0023]Plaques "a+b", "c", "d", they all have a thickness of 5 cm.

[0024]On top of the Big Post is laid the Big Post Cap, who's top view is shown in FIG. 10a), and the transversal section thru the top view is shown in FIG. 10b).

[0025]The faces composing Big Post Top Side (face1 and face2) can be interchanged between them, and the faces composing Big Post Bottom side (face 3 and face 4) can be interchanged between them.

[0026]By interchanging the faces will obtain a Corner Big Post. The arrangement diagram of the faces of a Corner Big Post is shown in FIG. 3m), for the top side, and FIG. 3n), for the bottom side.

[0027]Depending on the needs, by interchanging the faces of the Big Post, will be possible to obtain a Corner Big Post, a End Big Post, a T Big Post or a cross Big Post. For each of these types of Big Posts will have a mold for pouring concrete or a mold for a Blow molding plastic machine. The molds (who constitute the negative image of the particular face) will be fabricated individually for each type of face. The way I will assemble this individual molds will result on which type of Big Post I will cast (concrete) or blow molding (plastic).

[0028]For making a "All visible faces sculpted modular fence" using concrete, I will cast each module of the fence in his particular mold for concrete. For making a "All visible faces sculpted modular fence" using plastic I will blow mold (or using other plastic processing technology) each module in his specific mold.

[0029]The classical steps of installing a concrete or plastic modular fence will be used in installing a "All visible faces sculpted modular fence". The order of installing the modules of a "All visible faces sculpted modular fence" is: [0030]Big Post bottom side (all types) with the 4 rigid poles inside him, for the whole length of the fence [0031]Assemble "g" with Small Post inside him, for the whole length of the fence [0032]Plaques "f" and "f1", for the whole length of the fence [0033]Plaques "e" [0034]Big Post top side (all types) [0035]Plaque "d" [0036]Plaque "c" [0037]Plaque "a+b" [0038]Big Post Cap
