Description:
1. FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001]The present invention relates to a zipper head structure wherein the pull tag of the zipper head can be set and fixed to a predetermined angle.
2. THE PRIOR ARTS
[0002]Please refer to FIG. 1, which shows a perspective view of the prior art. The conventional zipper head 10 has a top plank 11 and a hook 12 disposed on the top plank 11. A pull tag 13 encloses the hook 12 to pull the zipper head 10 forwards and backwards. The pull tag 13 encloses the hook 12 by means of a hole 131 of the pull tag 13.
[0003]Referring to FIG. 1, after using the pull tag 13 of the zipper head 10, normally it hangs on the upper surface of the top plank 11. Because the hole 131 is usually bigger than the external diameter of the hook 12, the pull tag 13 inclines downwardly with its tail pressing on the zipper. Therefore, to grip the pull tag 13 to move the zipper head 10, it must be raised away from the zipper, pinched, and then pulled to slide the zipper head 10 along the zipper track. Therefore, the conventional zipper head 10 is not convenient when opening or closing the zipper.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0004]In order to improve the inconvenience of using the zipper head when its pull tag hangs and at the same time to enable users to pinch the pull tag quickly when using the zipper. The invention provides a zipper head structure which can be pinched easily. By fixing the pull tag to a predetermined angle, the user can quickly get/pinch pull tag; and by the angle of the pull tag close to or higher than horizontal, the user can pinch it easily and thereby improve the inconvenience which users have to pick the pull tag slightly off the zipper first before pulling the zipper head to move it.
[0005]In order to achieve above objectives, the invention provides a zipper head structure, comprising a top plank, on the top plank having a proboscis enclosing a pull tag. The characteristics are: the pull tag has an engaging hole; the top plank extends and forms a blocker corresponding to the engaging hole; the pull tag engages with said blocker by means of the engaging hole and thereby engages the pull tag at an angle close to horizontal or at an upward angle. Wherein, the blocker can be a wedge shape which gradually becomes wider from top to bottom, or the blocker can have a first inclined surface which inclines to the rear side of the zipper head or the combination of both. However, the structures are not limited to the above mentioned, and other similar structures that have engagement effects are also applicable.
[0006]By using the zipper head structure of the present invention, after pinching the pull tag to pull it forwards and backwards, users can put release the pull tag to engage with the blocker at an angle close to the horizontal or towards the vertical. Therefore, to pull the zipper head, the pull tag can be easily and quickly grasped, hence there is no need to waste time pinching the pull tag and the usage becomes more convenient.
[0007]The preferred embodiments of the present invention are illustrated hereinafter with the attached drawings. The below embodiments are merely illustrative. Further modification of the invention hereinafter disclosed will occur to those skilled in the respective arts and all such modifications are deemed to be within the scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0008]Please refer to FIG. 2, which shows a preferred embodiment of the present invention. The zipper head 20 of the present invention comprises a top plank 21 and a proboscis 22 disposed on the top plank 21. The proboscis 22 encloses a pull tag 23 which is used to pull the zipper head 20 forwards and backwards and the pull tag 23 encloses the proboscis 22 by means of the engaging hole 231 of the pull tag 23.
[0009]The characteristics of the present invention are: the top plank 21 extends and forms a blocker 24 corresponding to the engaging hole 231. When the pull tag 23 is released, it engages with the blocker 24 by means of the engaging hole 231, and therefore the pull tag 23 will not hang on the top plank 21 but will be engaged at a horizontal or upward angle. Thereby, it is easier and labor-saving to grasp/pinch pull tag 23 in order to slide the zipper head 20 along the zipper track. There is no need to waste time finding the pull tag 23. The operation becomes more convenient than before.
[0010]Please refer to FIG. 3, which shows a back view of the first embodiment of the present invention. The blocker 24 is provided to engage the pull tag 23. The structure of the blocker 24 has no special limits, and only needs to correspond to the engaging hole 231. In the first embodiment, the back view of the zipper head 20 shows the blocker 24 is a wedge-shape which gradually widens from the top to the bottom. To enclose the blocker 24, the internal diameter of the engaging hole 231 can be larger than the width of the top end of the wedge-shaped blocker but smaller than the width of the bottom, so when the pull tag 23 is released, it can engage with the blocker 24 at an upward angle (Please refer to FIG. 5). Therefore, the shape and the size of the engaging hole 231 has no special limits, they are adjustable according to the shape and the size of the blocker 24. The engagement angle of the pull tag 23 can be adjusted by the relative position of the engaging hole 231 and the blocker 24, the pull tag 23 can be set close to the horizontal or inclined upwards and suspended.
Please refer to FIG. 4, which shows a lateral view of first embodiment of the present invention. The blocker 24 is a wedge shape whose bottom gradually becomes smaller toward its top and the direction of the wedge could be from left to right or from front to back. In the embodiment, the blocker 24 has a first inclined surface 241 inclines upwards toward the rear end of the pull tag 20. When the pull tag 23 is put down, it first encloses the top end of the blocker 24, and when the pull tag 23 is further laid down, it engages on the first inclined surface 241 because of the slope of the inclined surface 241 and thereby the pull tag 23 is set in a predetermined angle (please refer to FIG. 5). Please refer to FIG. 6, following the same principle, a second inclined surface 242 of the blocker inclines upwards towards the front end of the blocker 24. The pull tag 23 has an engaging hole 232 corresponding to the second inclined surface, therefore, when the pull tag is released, the pull tag 23 can enclose the blocker 24 and further engage on the second inclined surface 242 by one side of the engaging hole 232(Please refer to FIG. 7).
[0011]Besides engaging the pull tag 23 and tilting it on the blocker 24, other applicable engagement structures are shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, but not limit to them. From the back view of the pull tag 20, the blocker 24 has two round protruding bars 243 separately extend from left and right side to engage with the engaging hole 231. In addition the top of the blocker 24 can further has a rear round protruding bar 244 facing the rear end of the pull tag 20 or a front round protruding bar (not illustrated) facing the front end of the pull tag 20 to engage with the engaging hole 231.
[0012]The blocker 24 can also be disposed on any zipper head structure. The zipper head structure doesn't have special limits. The blocker 24 can be disposed on any zipper head structure whose pull tag need to be fixed and set in a certain degree. Therefore, it can also be disposed on the gastight zipper head 30, which is shown in the embodiment of FIG. 10, or other zipper heads usually used with bags or clothing. However, above description is merely illustrative, it is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
[0013]Please refer to FIG. 10, a gastight zipper head 30 includes a top plank 31, a proboscis 32 disposed on the top plank 31 and the proboscis 32 enclosing a pull tag 33 which is used to slide the gastight zipper head 30 forwards and backwards. The pull tag 33 has an engaging hole 331 to enclose the proboscis 32. The top plank 31 extends and forms a blocker 34 corresponding to the engaging hole 331. When the pull tag 33 is put down, the pull tag 33 is engaged with the blocker 34 by means of the engaging hole 331. Therefore, the pull tag 33 will not be hanging from the top plank 31, but be tilting upwards or close to the horizontal. Due to the fact that a gastight zipper head 30 is mostly used with plastic teeth, after the pull tag 33 is set horizontal or tilting upwards, the pull tag 33 will not press on the plastic teeth, thereby the design can prevent deformation of plastic teeth caused by the pressure of the pull tag 33.
[0014]On the other hand, in order to engage the pull tag 33 on the blocker 34 directly, a round shaft can be disposed in the location where the pull tag 33 and the proboscis 32 engage with each other. By means of the round shaft, the pull tag 33 can only rotate from front to back, and the pivoting path become fixed. When the pull tag 33 is putting down toward to the blocker 34, the pull tag 33 is able to enclose the blocker 34 accurately for engagement effect. Besides this embodiment, the round shaft can also apply to other above mentioned embodiments.
