20100322332 | Systems and Methods for Code Sequence Extension Over Transmission in Wireless Communication Environments - A transmitter for transmitting signals to a receiver is provided. The transmitter generates a padded code sequence comprising a plurality of symbols. The padded sequence is generated by padding the first symbol to the end of a code sequence. The padding method can be applied to Zadoff-Chu code, generalized chirp like code, CAZAC sequence to acquire extra code property, e.g. orthogonal in terms of differential detection. The padded code sequence can be allocated on sub-carriers of an OFDM symbol in frequency domain in increasing or decreasing order to resist linear phase shift due to time domain delay. If multiple OFDM symbols are used, the padded code sequence may be divided into multiple sections and each section may be padded in the same padding manner. Latter on, the transmitter transmits the padded code sequence to a receiver via an air interface. Upon receiving the padded code sequence via the air interface, the receiver may detect the padded sequence according to its structure, e.g. differential detection. | 12-23-2010 |
20110026498 | Data Communication Method, Wireless Communication System, and Base Station - The invention provides a wireless communication system. In one embodiment, the wireless communication system comprises a base station and user equipment. The base station transmits data to user equipment via a plurality of the component carriers comprising a series of data transmission cycles, interleaves starting time of a plurality of active periods of the component carriers in each data transmission cycle in an order, and sends control data to the user equipment via the component carriers during the active periods of the component carriers. The user equipment receives the control data via the component carriers during the active periods of the component carriers. | 02-03-2011 |
20110045858 | Systems and Methods for Network Entry Management - Systems and methods for network entry management are provided. The system includes a base station and a mobile station. The base station broadcasts synchronization channels (SCH) on multiple carriers, where the SCH may be hierarchical synchronization channel composed of primary synchronization channel (P-SCH) and secondary synchronization channel (S-SCH) which are used for timing, frequency synchronization, cell identification, etc. The carriers include at least a first carrier including at least one P-SCH and do not include a S-SCH. The mobile station scans the first carrier, and checks whether a P-SCH is broadcasted on the first carrier. If a P-SCH is broadcasted on the first carrier, the mobile station checks whether an S-SCH is broadcasted on the first carrier. If no S-SCH is broadcasted on the first carrier, the mobile station scans for a second carrier broadcasted by the base station. | 02-24-2011 |
20120069873 | Broadcasting System and Multi-Carrier Communication System - The invention provides a broadcasting system. In one embodiment, the broadcasting system comprises a transceiver and a processor. The transceiver carries out signal transmission via at least one fully configured carrier and at least one partially configured carrier. The processor controls the transceiver to broadcast a first preamble set via the at least one fully configured carrier, and controls the transceiver to broadcast a secondary preamble set via the at least one partially configured carrier, wherein the first preamble set comprises a primary preamble and at least one secondary preamble, and the second preamble set comprises no primary preamble and at least one secondary preamble. | 03-22-2012 |
20120100851 | Apparatuses, Systems, and Methods for Inbound Handover Enhancement - A wireless communications device with a wireless module and a controller module is provided. The wireless module performs wireless transmission and reception to and from a service network comprising at least two first home base stations having the same physical cell identity (PCI) or physical scrambling code (PSC), a plurality of second home base stations neighboring the first home base stations, and a macro base station. The controller module receives a message from the macro base station via the wireless module, requests the wireless module to detect a plurality of PCIs or PSCs respectively corresponding to the first home base stations and the second home base stations in response to the message, and transmits to the macro base station via the wireless module the detected PCIs or PSCs, prior to being handed over to the one of the first home base stations from the macro base station. | 04-26-2012 |
