20100160205 | Low-Density Cleaning Substrate - The present invention is directed to a low-density substrate, which has an optimized pore volume distribution. The optimized pore volume distribution allows the substrate to hold at least 50 percent of its cumulative volume within pores with a radius size of about 110 to 250 microns. The optimized pore volume distribution can also be characterized by having a dry fibrous web that absorbs less than 20 percent of the cumulative volume of the fibrous web at a pore radius of 75 microns. The optimized pore volume distribution of the substrate enables it to controllably release a fluid composition effectively onto a surface. The basis weight of the substrate is about 80 to 20 gsm and the density of the substrate is below 0.1 g/cc. The substrate may be a pre-loaded wipe, which is either moistened by a consumer prior to use or moistened prior to packaging. The composition loaded onto the substrate may contain dry and/or liquid compositions preferably for cleaning hard or soft surfaces. | 06-24-2010 |
20120255623 | FAUCET MOUNTABLE WATER CONDITIONING SYSTEMS - A faucet mountable water conditioning devices include a relatively simple configuration that allows for reduced cost, easy installation, and a pleasing aesthetic. In one or more implementations, a faucet mountable water conditioning device includes a universal faucet mounting mechanism. The universal faucet mounting mechanism allows the faucet mountable water conditioning device to connect and seal to a wide variety of faucet designs and sizes simply by pressing the mounting mechanism over the faucet. The faucet mountable water conditioning device can also include a base configured to hold a water conditioning source. In one or more implementations a connector can couple the base to the mounting mechanism; thereby, allowing the base to move between active and inactive positions. | 10-11-2012 |
20120258156 | SHAPED COMPOSITIONS FOR UNIFORM DELIVERY OF A FUNCTIONAL AGENT - Shaped compositions are provided for use in delivering a substantially uniform concentration of a functional agent (e.g., an antimicrobial sanitizing agent) to a flowing stream of water. The composition may be shaped and sized to be inserted into a device configured to be attached over the end of a faucet. The shaped composition may include at least two different regions (e.g., layers). A dissolvable region includes a functional agent (e.g., an anti-microbial sanitizing agent). A substantially non-dissolvable region is disposed adjacent to the dissolvable region (e.g., adjacent the bottom surface) so as to cover a bottom surface of the dissolvable region. The geometry of the shaped composition, as well as the presence of the substantially non-dissolvable region aids in providing a substantially uniform concentration of functional agent throughout the life of the dissolvable region. | 10-11-2012 |
20130075346 | METHODS OF PROVIDING UNIFORM DELIVERY OF A FUNCTIONAL AGENT FROM A SHAPED COMPOSITION - Methods for introducing a substantially uniform concentration of a functional agent into a flowing stream of water using a shaped composition. The composition may be shaped and sized to be inserted into a device configured to be attached over the end of a faucet. The shaped composition comprises a dissolvable region including a functional agent (e.g., an anti-microbial sanitizing agent). A non-dissolvable region disposed adjacent to the dissolvable region may optionally be provided. The substantially non-dissolvable region remains substantially intact as the dissolving region is progressively dissolved, introducing the functional agent into a flowing stream of water. | 03-28-2013 |
