20100326889 | METHOD OF RESTORING CATALYTIC ACTIVITY TO A SPENT HYDROTREATING CATALYST, THE RESULTING RESTORED CATALYST, AND A METHOD OF HYDROPROCESSING - A method of restoring catalytic activity to a spent hydroprocessing catalyst that has a first carbon concentration. The concentration of carbon on the spent hydroprocessing catalyst is reduced to provide a carbon-reduced catalyst having a second carbon concentration that is less than the first carbon concentration. The carbon-reduced catalyst is exposed to a solution, comprising a chelating agent and a solvent, for an aging time period sufficient to provide for a restored catalytic activity thereby resulting in an aged catalyst having incorporated therein the chelating agent and the solvent. The aged catalyst is exposed to conditions, including a drying temperature, so as to remove from the aged catalyst a portion of the solvent without removing a significant portion of the chelating agent from the aged catalyst thereby resulting in a dried aged catalyst. The dried aged catalyst is then sulfur treated to thereby provide a restored catalyst. The restored catalyst and those catalysts made by the treatment method can be used in a hydroprocessing process comprising contacting the restored catalyst with a hydrocarbon feedstock under hydroprocessing conditions. | 12-30-2010 |

20100128844 | System and Method for Material Segmentation Utilizing Computed Tomography Scans - Certain embodiments provide a radiation analysis system for material segmentation utilizing computed tomography (CT) scans. The radiation analysis system includes an input module configured to input dual energy data. The dual energy scanned data includes first data corresponding to a first parameter and second data corresponding to a second parameter for a given scanned volume. The radiation analysis system also includes a processor configured to generate a scatter plot based on the dual energy data. The first data corresponds to a first axis and the second data corresponds to a second axis. The processor is configured to identify at least one material type based on the scatter plot. | 05-27-2010 |
20110142314 | SYSTEM AND METHOD OF INCREASING TEMPORAL RESOLUTION OF AN X-RAY IMAGE - A system, method, and apparatus includes a computed tomography (CT) system having a rotatable gantry, an x-ray source, a generator, a detector having pixels and positioned to receive x-rays, and a computer. The computer is programmed to acquire CT data representative of an object, determine a first subset of the CT data, determine a second subset of the CT data, and determine a difference between the first and second subsets of the CT data to identify a motion region in the object. The computer is also programmed to update image data reconstructed from a first portion of the first subset of the CT data and corresponding to the region and reconstruct an image based on the updated image data and non-updated image data. The non-updated image data is reconstructed from a second portion the first subset of the CT data. | 06-16-2011 |

20090051312 | BATTERY CHARGER - A battery charger for wirelessly providing additional operating time for a cell phone with a depleted battery. The battery charger has a charging unit incorporated into a case. The charging unit has an external port, a cell phone charging port, and a rechargeable battery. A cell phone with a depleted battery is placed inside the case and plugged into the cell phone charging port. The rechargeable battery of the charging unit recharges the cell phone battery, without requiring that either the battery charger or the cell phone be plugged into an external power source. An ON/OFF switch allows the user to enable/disable recharging. A status indicator light indicates the status of the battery charger. When the battery in the charging unit is depleted, the user plugs the charger into a standard external power source to recharge. | 02-26-2009 |
