20130159512 | METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR EFFICIENT UPDATING OF TIME-ALIGNED GRAPHS IN A MONITORING SYSTEM - The present invention relates to displaying data in a time-aligned fashion. A dashboard may have a defined time window and a plurality of graphs for various types of monitoring data metrics. Updates to each of the graphs may occur at different intervals while the graphs stay aligned to the same time window. The updates may be asynchronously received and displayed in the dashboard in real-time or near real-time. The graphs are aligned to the same time window in a dashboard by adding a future time buffer. When the live data reaches the end of the time window, the future time buffer allows a brief overflow period for updates to be added to the graphs while keeping all the graphs on a common time axis. Once the current time reaches the end of the future time buffer, the dashboard is then shifted forward and a future time buffer is added. | 06-20-2013 |

20150184739 | METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ACTUATING A SHIFT ELEMENT OF AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION HAVING A START-STOP MEANS - A method for actuating a shift element of an automatic transmission having a start-stop function and a pressure medium pump driven by an internal combustion engine. The shifting elements are clutches or brakes that can be actuated by a piston which is actuated for engagement via pressure supplied to a pressure space. The pressure space is depressurized when the engine stops. To enhance start-stop operation, the shifting elements comprise an additional pressure space that acts, in opposition to the pressure space acting in the engaging direction, as a controllable restoring mechanism which can be rendered inactive, if desired. If the engine stops and the automatic start-stop function is activated, the additional pressure spaces, acting in the restoring direction, are depressurized before the pressure drop in the pressure spaces, acting in the engaging direction, of the pistons, but are otherwise permanently pressurized during driving operation. | 07-02-2015 |

20090098295 | PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A CORROSION-PROTECTED STEEL SHEET - A process for producing a corrosion-protected steel sheet for coating with an organic coating agent, includes vacuum-coating the steel sheet, which is protected against corrosion with a layer of zinc or zinc alloy, with at least one additional metal or a metal alloy. After vacuum-coating, the steel sheet is subjected to a thermal diffusion treatment and finally cooled down. The process is characterized according to the invention in that cooling takes place with a water-based coolant. | 04-16-2009 |

20100233505 | Method for Production of Thin Sheet Metal - A composite component comprising at least one first and one second sheet metal plate with at least one layer of a polymer arranged between the first and the second sheet metal plates provides for a component optimized with respect to the weight thereof, and which is at the same time simple to manufacture. The polymer layer of the composite component according to the invention comprises at least one foamed polymer layer of a thermoplastic polymer, wherein the foamed polymer layer comprises gas bubbles with a volume percentage of 1% to 80%, in particular 5% to 70%. | 09-16-2010 |
20110165430 | Flat product composed of a metal material, in particular a steel material, use of such a flat product and roller and process for producing such flat products - With the invention a metallic flat product can be systematically made available with such a fine, stochastic or quasi-stochastic surface texture that after a typical automotive paint application it is only minimally perceptible, if at all, by the human eye. At the same time, in the case of a surface topography constituted according to the invention, the transition between the peak plateaus and the valleys takes place via steep flanks. In this way, it is achieved that the morphology of the sheet metal surface is practically independent of the actual depth of the valleys. As a result therefore, the morphology of the sheet metal surface of a metallic flat product according to the invention is also independent of the skin-pass rate, which is obtained when the fine metal texture is produced by skin-pass rolling. | 07-07-2011 |
20140178633 | Composite Material and Structural Components of a Motor Vehicle - A composite material is shown and described in the form of a laminated material made of flat superimposed layers for production of a structural component, in particular for structural components of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one metal layer and at least one fibre-reinforced plastic layer. In order to achieve firstly a reduction in weight and secondly an increase in strength of a structural component made from the composite material, with a reduction in component costs, it is provided that the fibre-reinforced plastic layer has a matrix based on polypropylene, polyethylene, polyamide and/or mixtures thereof. | 06-26-2014 |

20080218012 | Terminal board as well as an electrical machine - A terminal board, which is for a housing-less asynchronous motor, includes an electrically insulating base extending in a longitudinal direction and in a traverse direction. A device fastens the base to an electrical machine and another device enables a plurality of terminals to be inserted into the base. The base has a bearing surface that curves concavely in the transverse direction and that is essentially straight in the longitudinal direction. The terminal board can be attached to an asynchronous motor that has a cylindrical stator extending in the longitudinal direction. The motor also has a movably positioned rotor that is located inside of the stator and that is connected to the rotor. The terminal board is introduced in the longitudinal direction of the stator where a number of terminals are inserted. By using the terminal board, a housing-less electrically powered machine can be constructed as small as possible. | 09-11-2008 |
