A holding bracket is fastened to the caliper and bears against pad retaining springs acting on outer edges of the brake pads. The holding bracket bridges a mounting opening of the caliper transversely with respect to the rotational direction of the brake disc and is preferably fastened by way of one end to the caliper in a positively locking manner and held by way of its other end by a fastening element such that the fastening element is connected captively to the holding bracket and corresponds with a securing part of the caliper in the sense of a holding device. | 09-24-2009 |
20090272607 | Disc Brake for a Commercial Vehicle - A disc brake, particularly for a commercial vehicle, includes a brake caliper, which is provided with a brake disc and fixed to a brake carrier by two fastening elements such that it can be axially displaced in relation to the brake disc. The fastening elements each include a guide spar, which is connected to the brake carrier in a fixed manner. For the axial displacement of the brake caliper, one of the guide spars is guided in a plain bearing designed as a movable bearing and the other in a plain bearing designed as fixed bearing such that the guide spar of the fixed bearing includes an elastically deformable section in the radial direction on the outer circumference. The associated bearing rests against the deformable section at least in some sections. | 11-05-2009 |
20100252370 | Brake Pad Holder and Brake Pad of a Disc Brake - A brake pad holder of a disc brake, in particular for a commercial vehicle is provided, wherein brake pads assigned to both sides of a brake disc are held by a respective pad-holding spring in a spring-loaded manner in a pad shaft of a positionally fixed brake anchor plate or of a brake caliper. A pad-holding clip, which extends in the axial direction of the brake disc and is fastened to the brake caliper, is supported on the brake pads. The brake pad holder is designed such that the pad-holding clip has at least one limb which extends approximately radially with respect to the brake disc and enters into a recess of at least one brake pad. | 10-07-2010 |
20100282547 | Disc Brake for a Commercial Vehicle - A disc brake for a commercial vehicle has a caliper that straddles a brake disc. The caliper is mounted on a brake carrier on the vehicle side by way of two connecting bearings in an axially displaceable manner in relation to the brake disc. The connecting bearings each include a guide bar that is securely connected to the brake carrier and guided in a slide bearing of the caliper for the axial displacement thereof. At least one connecting bearing is provided with a radially elastic damping bushing, which at least surrounds the guide bar in regions and has grooves that are laterally delimited by ribs. The disc brake is designed such that the damping bushing has a progressive damping behavior in the radial loading direction. | 11-11-2010 |
20110079470 | Arrangement of a Bellow on a Guide Bar of a Disc Brake - A bellows arrangement on a guide bar of a disc brake, particularly of a commercial vehicle, has an end of the bellows comprising a sealing ring, particularly a quad ring, lying in a circumferential groove of the guide bar. The bellows is pressed into the groove by a retaining ring placed thereon, and is designed so that an air passage can form in the contact area of the sealing ring at the base of the groove, reducing the volume enclosed by the bellows and the guide bar. To this end, the contact shoulder formed on the retaining ring is circumferentially interrupted in segments. | 04-07-2011 |

20100233276 | COMPOSITIONS IN POWDER FORM MADE OF SOFT AGGLOMERATES OF A MICRONIZED DRUG AND OF A TWO-COMPONENTS EXCIPIENT, AND PROCESS FOR THEIR PREPARATION - The described agglomeration of drug microparticles blended with excipient microparticles is a technique for the size enlargement of micronized products that could be damaged by granulation or compaction techniques. These agglomerates can be used as oral prompt or delayed-release dosage forms administered as they are or dispersed in a liquid. The composition and quantity of the excipient microparticles resulted to be the crucial factors for the agglomerate quality. Therefore, adjusting the content of surface-active agent between 8-20%, of the excipient microparticles it is possible to agglomerate microparticles of drugs that could not be agglomerated per se. Increasing the surfactant concentration in the spray-dried excipient microparticles or increasing the fraction of these excipient microparticles in the blend, the agglomeration was improved. The spray drying technique concentrates the surface-active agent on the microparticle surface. By tumbling, the surface-active agent present on microparticles excipient surface was spread to fill the inter-particle interstices of drug particles giving rise to more resistant agglomerates. This phenomenon occurred also by vibration; the production in this case was quicker. | 09-16-2010 |
