20150313978 | Novel MHC-Independent Tumor-Associated Antigens - The present invention relates to novel tumor-associated antigens, which elicit independently from a presentation via MHC a CD8-positive T-cell response. GM-CSF-Receptor alpha chain (CSF2RA) and Tyrosinase-related protein 2 (TRP-2) were found to be targets of CD8-positive T-cell clones which could detect the proteins on the surface of HLA I negative melanoma cells. Thus, the invention provides proteins, protein fragments and polypeptides of the novel antigens for use in medicine, for example for the treatment, diagnosis and prevention of a tumor disease. Furthermore provided are nucleic acids expressing the antigens of the invention, binding agents specific for the antigens of the invention, such as T-cell receptor chains and isolated T cells which are reactive against the antigens of the invention or which express the T-cell receptors of the invention. The invention further pertains to pharmaceutical compositions, especially vaccine compositions, comprising the antigens, nucleic acids, binding agents or T cells in accordance with the invention, and methods for the generation of T cells, which are specifically reactive to the antigens of the invention in an MHC-independent manner. | 11-05-2015 |

20100066608 | Method and apparatus to minimize antenna backside signal response and ambiguity - Method and apparatus for minimizing antenna backside signal response and ambiguity in low frequency applications, particularly low frequency synthetic aperture radar (SAR). Various time delay elements are selectably switched into the signal path so as to cause a null to be placed in the antenna response pattern in the direction of undesired radar returns. The means for selectably switching may be dithered so as to introduce modulation onto the undesired radar return to aid in the discrimination and removal of the undesired radar return from the SAR image during post processing. | 03-18-2010 |

20090321067 | RELEASING SLIPS FOR OIL WELL TOOL - Releasing slips for use with a downhole tool, a tool for deploying downhole in a well utilizing the releasing slips and a well in which a downhole tool is deployed utilizing the releasing slips of the invention is described herein. The tool has a plurality of slips for selective engagement with a wall of a wellbore. The slips include releasing slips and biting slips. The releasing slips have a low friction surface, e.g., a substantially smooth surface for engaging the wall of the wellbore. The smooth wall engaging face of the releasing slips facilitate easy release of the slips, thereby facilitating easy removal of the downhole tool. The slips may include a plurality of hardened members that protrude from the wall engaging face of the releasing slips to reduce wear on the face of the releasing slip. | 12-31-2009 |

20140260782 | Dampers For Crankshafts Of Reciprocating Engines and Reciprocating Engines Comprising The Same - A damper for a crankshaft of a reciprocating engine includes an inner shell and an inertia ring, the inner shell and the inertia ring having a plurality of teeth and grooves that are intermeshed with one another. The damper further includes a plurality of damping pads positioned between the teeth of the inner shell and the grooves of the inertia ring. The inertia ring is constrained from translating in the axial direction and the radial direction with respect to the inner shell and is rotatable with respect to the inner shell in the circumferential direction through a constrained range by compressing the damping pads. | 09-18-2014 |

20090206982 | THIN-FILM RESISTOR WITH A LAYER STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A THIN-FILM RESISTOR WITH A LAYER STRUCTURE - A thin-film resistor with a layer structure with a Ti layer and a TiN layer is described, wherein a layer thickness of the Ti layer and a layer thickness of the TiN layer are selected such that a resulting temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) is smaller than 1000 ppm/° C. | 08-20-2009 |
20120273910 | PHOTODETECTOR, IMAGE SENSOR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING - The finding that with a reasonable effort a layer thickness and/or refractive index variation may be acquired which realizes different internal optical path lengths for impinging radiation whereby fluctuation of spectral sensitivity of the photodetector is reduced is used to provide image sensors with a less fluctuating spectral sensitivity with respect to different wavelengths, or photodetectors with a small fluctuation of the spectral sensitivity from photodetector to photodetector with respect to defined wavelengths, with a reasonable effort. | 11-01-2012 |
