20160035240 | DEMENTIA THERAPY METHOD AND INSTRUMENT - A dementia therapy method that involves PWD in playing music, particularly as part of an ensemble “performing in concert”, which provides a rewarding and encouraging result of utilizing abilities that they may not even know they had to produce pleasing music. This method utilizes musical instruments adapted for playing by PWD who can utilize procedural rather than declarative memory in playing. By connecting a plurality of the instruments to a central director's console the combined musical sound can be coordinated to make it pleasing. Then several PWD are trained to play components of songs together as an group. An example of our specially adapted musical instruments is an easily played percussion instrument having an organized layout of one or more tone bars that, when struck (or touched) by a player generate a musical tone. The instrument may be further adapted to ease its use by movement restricted players. | 02-04-2016 |

20140259969 | GUTTER LEAF SLIDE BRIDGE - A gutter protecting apparatus includes a plurality of substantially parallel rods extending in a downward slope from near a roof edge to and beyond the far side of the gutter. The rods extend substantially perpendicular to the gutter's length and to a frame to which the rods connect at the upper edge. Preferably, the lower rod ends are spaced above and slightly beyond the far edge of the gutter to allow debris to pass the gutter without catching. Legs can extend down from some rods to the gutter's far edge to provide support. The apparatus can be pivotably mounted to the roof, the fascia or the gutter, permitting access beneath. The apparatus forms a cage-like covering over the gutter to exclude matter and small creatures, while allowing the liquid to flow past. 20140291415 | SPRAY DEVICE - A fluid container spray device having a trigger lock mechanism with trigger tabs extending outwardly from the trigger and cleats extending inwardly from a moveable shroud. The cleats obstruct the tabs when the shroud is in a trigger lock position. A lever extending from beneath the shroud can be depressed, thereby moving the shroud from the trigger lock position to a trigger release position. The movement of the shroud to the trigger release position moves the connected cleats from their obstructive position to a position out of the trigger tabs' path of movement, thereby permitting use of the trigger to pump fluid from the container. The shroud is biased toward the trigger lock position. Thus, release of the container by the user restores the locked configuration, thereby preventing use by children. | 10-02-2014 |
