20080197569 | Inverse Chess - This invention describes a game of inverse chess, with a pre-identified start position, and end position and arbitered moves chosen amongst a set of possible moves, played between two opponents on a chess board. This differs from normal chess in that it is played backwards in time where the objective is to reconstruct the pre-identified start position, from the pre-identified end position. While the pieces used in the game are essentially the same as that of regular chess, the moves they make are reversed. Since the state-space of this game is much larger in the potential moves, an arbiter is used to validate possible moves that one player might choose to make. Using either a regular or modified chess board, the pieces on the board move backwards. Three such moves are described in the I-castle, spawn and I-check moves. A variant of the game is the two-knight game wherein two knights play each other and the piece reaching the pre-identified start position, win. | 08-21-2008 |

20150135061 | SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PARALLEL TRAVERSAL OF DOCUMENT OBJECT MODEL TREE - Systems and methods are disclosed for traversing a DOM tree in parallel by utilizing a multi-core processor to expedite webpage layout process. The contents of an HTML webpage may be parsed into a Document Object Model (DOM) tree including nodes representing the contents of the HTML webpage. A Cascade Style Sheet (CSS) selector is used to select one or more HTML elements for styling. The DOM tree may be divided into a plurality of sub-trees. The plurality of sub-trees are traversed simultaneously to search for element nodes representing HTML elements that match the CSS selector. | 05-14-2015 |

20150052402 | Cloud Deployment Infrastructure Validation Engine - Embodiments of the invention provide a set of validators that can be used to determine whether an installation is operating within desired parameters and is in compliance with any requirements. The validators may be provided with a software application or release, for example, and may be run during and/or after installation to test the application operation. A set of self-healing operations may be triggered when faults are detected by the validators. This allows a software application to auto-diagnose and auto-self-heal any detected faults. | 02-19-2015 |

20110039345 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL DETECTION OF BIOLOGICAL COMPOUNDS - The present invention relates to an electrochemical method for detecting a target polynucleotide. An electrode comprising an electrode surface is provided. The electrode surface includes at least one probe molecule reversibly immobilized with respect to the electrode surface. A first electrochemical signal indicative of an amount of probe molecule immobilized with respect to the electrode surface is obtained. The electrode surface is contacted with a liquid comprising the target polynucleotide. Upon the contacting step, at least some of the probe molecule immobilized with respect to the electrode surface dissociates therefrom. A second electrochemical signal indicative of an amount of probe molecule immobilized with respect to the electrode surface is obtained. The presence of the target polynucleotide is determined at least partially on the basis of the first and second electrochemical signals. | 02-17-2011 |
