20110121030Container for Sequentially Dispensing Multiple Fluids onto an Applicator Device - A structure and system are described which include the use of a combination container for sequentially dispensing multiple fluids onto a removable applicator device. A preferred application of the invention is with the sequential dispensing of a quantity of disinfecting solution over a toothbrush, followed by the dispensing of a measured quantity of toothpaste onto the toothbrush. The device is constructed in a double walled cylindrical (circular or non-circular) configuration with a hollow plunger component coaxially positioned within the cylindrical walls. Beneath the plunger component is contained a quantity of disinfectant solution such that when the plunger is directed downward the disinfectant solution is forced upward between the walls of the double walled container and through dispensing ports directed into the interior where the applicator is positioned. The contained motion of the plunger component downward under the directed force of the applicator brings the base of the hollow plunger into contact with the base wall of the container and causes the collapse of the hollow plunger. A second liquid/gel contained within the hollow plunger is then directed up and out of its enclosed volume through ports aligned with the applicator. The design is intended to accommodate a wide variety of compounds and applicators. Wherever the dispensing of two different compounds (liquids/gels) is required in a sequential manner, the present invention finds applicability.05-26-2011

20110064571Secondary Inlet Cone for a Plenum Fan - A plenum fan comprising a fan wheel disposed within a box-like enclosure includes a secondary inlet cone, a primary inlet cone, and a flexible duct. The two inlet cones convey air to the mouth of the fan wheel. A frame supports the fan wheel and the primary inlet cone such that the frame, the fan wheel and the primary inlet cone comprise a fan assembly. If the fan assembly shifts due to fan thrust or vibration, the fan assembly moves as a unit. The flexible duct connects the primary inlet cone to an inlet of the enclosure while isolating the fan assembly's vibration from the enclosure. The secondary inlet cone extends from the inlet of the enclosure, protrudes into or toward the primary inlet cone and provides a smooth airflow path over the abrupt shape of the flexible duct.03-17-2011

20130288711TIMED FINGERPRINT LOCATING IN WIRELESS NETWORKS - A location of user equipment (UE) in a wireless network is determined. Geometric calculations are leveraged for an overlaid bin grid framework mapping the wireless network area to store differential values for each frame of the bin grid framework for each pair of relevant NodeBs. A timing offset can be determined, such that when a time value from a target UE is accessed, the location can be quickly determined. The target UE time value can be searched for in the pre-computed differential value data set indexed by a relevant NodeB site pair to return a set of frames (forming a hyperbola between the site pair) that can be intersected with a second set of frames for a second NodeB site pair for the same UE. The intersecting frames can represent the location of the UE in the wireless network and timing in the network is correctable based on the data.10-31-2013

20130030494Mobile Applications and Methods for Conveying Performance Information of a Cardiac Pacemaker - Devices, systems, and methods are disclosed for relaying information from a cardiac pacemaker to an external device. Logic on the pacemaker modulates a heartbeat clock of the pacemaker to encode information onto a blood pressure sequence. This is accomplished by adding or subtracting a small subinterval to or from a pulse repetition interval of the pacemaker. A muscle stimulator beats the heart according to the modulated sequence. A monitoring device external to the body monitors the blood pressure to retrieve the encoded information, or message. The encoded information is then decoded to determine the information in the message. This information may concern the pacemaker as well as other devices within the body that are in communication with the pacemaker such as blood monitors, etc. Since the message is conveyed via simple modulation of the heart beat intervals, no separate transmitter is required in the pacemaker which would otherwise increase cost and decrease battery life.01-31-2013
