20110009654 | 11B-FLUORO-3-ACETOXYESTRA-3,5-DIEN-17-ONE AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF - The present invention relates to 11β-fluoro-3-acetoxyestra-3,5-dien-17-one as a suitable intermediate in the preparation of 11-fluoro-substituted steroids and to the process for preparation thereof. For this purpose, 11α-hydroxyestra-4-ene-3,17-dione is reacted with 1 to 3 equivalents of n-nonafluorobutanesulfonyl fluoride and 3 to 5 equivalents of diazabicycloundecene (DBU) at −40 to −20° C. in an organic aprotic solvent and, after an aqueous workup, reacted with 5 to 10 equivalents of acetic anhydride and 0.01 to 1 equivalent of a strong acid. The desired product precipitates spontaneously out of the reaction solution and is obtained in a very high purity by filtration. The process is notable for the very high yield, avoidance of a chromatographic purification of the product, a reduced proportion of wastes and significantly increased process throughput. The process according to the invention is therefore especially suitable for preparing 11β-fluoro-3-acetoxyestra-3,5-dien-17-one on a large industrial scale. | 01-13-2011 |

20100089473 | Method for checking the operability of an actuator - A method of checking the operability of an actuator is provided. The actuator includes a control valve adjustable via an actuating drive by an actuating element, a position sensor detecting the actual position of the actuating element, and an electropneumatic position controller creating a pneumatic controlled variable depending on an actual position and a target position. The target position is provided to the actuating drive via an activated magnetic valve. The actuating element is moved over a section of an adjustment path for an execution of a partial-stroke test of the actuating element, the adjustment movement being detected. The magnetic valve is deactivated for a short time such that the actuating element is moved over only a section of the adjustment path. To facilitate the monitoring of the operability of the actuator, the partial-stroke test and the test of the magnetic valve are performed in a single test sequence. | 04-15-2010 |

20140167664 | Method and Device for Synchronizing a Rotation Speed of a Rotor with a Rotation Field of a Stator - A method for synchronizing a rotation speed of a permanently excited rotor of an electric motor with a frequency of a rotation field of a sensorless commutated stator of the electric motor during a run-up procedure of the electric motor includes determining a phase position of the rotation field and a phase position of a countervoltage that is induced by the rotor in the stator in order to obtain a phase offset between the rotation field and the countervoltage. The method further includes adjusting a prevailing amplitude of one component of the rotation field using the phase offset to synchronize the rotation speed with the frequency. The amplitude of the component is increased if the rotor is lagging behind the rotation field or the amplitude of the component is reduced if the rotor is running ahead of the rotation field. | 06-19-2014 |
