20100180765 | CONTINUOUS DROPLET GENERATOR DEVICES AND METHODS - Continuous droplet generators and methods are provided. In one embodiment, a continuous droplet generator includes an outer housing that defines a working liquid reservoir configured to maintain a working liquid. The continuous droplet generator also includes one or more heaters configured to change the phase of the working liquid and an evaporation-condensation tube positioned at least partially within the outer housing. The evaporation-condensation tube includes a gas inlet configured to receive a particle-containing gas flow, a gas outlet configured to export generated condensed droplets, a wall, an outer wall surface configured to be in contact with the working liquid, and an inner wall surface in contact with the particle-containing gas flow. The vapor is transported to the particle-containing gas flow through the evaporation-condensation tube by diffusion and vapor pressure difference to increase a relative humidity and grow particles within the particle-containing gas flow by nuclei heterogeneous condensation. | 07-22-2010 |

20100073535 | SYSTEM, METHOD, AND APPARATUS FOR VARIABLE RATE PIXEL DATA TRANSFER AND STORAGE - A variable rate image sensor outputs pixel data at a variable rate using lookup tables to selectively read out particular rows at particular times. The readout rate is not constant, allowing for a smaller image buffer in the overall system. | 03-25-2010 |

20130012486 | COMBINATION STEROID AND GLUCOCORTICOID RECEPTOR ANTAGONIST THERAPY - The present invention provides compositions of an anti-inflammatory glucocorticosteroid and a glucocorticoid receptor (GR) modulator useful for inhibiting glucocorticoid receptor induced transactivation without substantially inhibiting glucocorticoid receptor induced transrepression. Also provided are methods of treating a disorder or condition and reducing the side effects of glucocorticosteroid treatment, using the compositions of the present invention. | 01-10-2013 |

20160108108 | INFLAMMATORY DISEASE DIAGNOSIS AND METHODS OF TREATMENT USING LIPOPOLYSACCHARIDES-RESPONSIVE BEIGE-LIKE ANCHOR - Anti-cytokine therapy has revolutionized immunological disease treatment, but is not always effective and subject to treatment resistance as the cytokine cascade is highly redundant and multiple cytokines are involved in inflammation. Targeting a critical common regulator of inflammatory effectors is desirable. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-responsive beige-like anchor (LRBA) is a master regulator of multiple genes important for inflammation. Subcellular localization shows that LRBA translocated to the nucleus upon LPS stimulation and colocalized with multiple proteins associated with the endosome membrane system, indicating a critical role in membrane/vesicle trafficking essential for deposition, secretion and signal transduction of immune effectors. Deregulation, deficiency, down-regulation and overexpression of LRBA causes defective trafficking and signaling of immune effector molecules, resulting in immunodeficiency and autoimmunity diseases associated with a broader spectrum of severe symptoms when compared to other CVID genes. Modulating LRBA through antibodies, dominant negative mutants, or small interference RNA can be used to treat inflammatory diseases. | 04-21-2016 |
