20080308555 | Shipping and storage drum with screw on locking cover - A shipping and storage drum with a screw on locking cover comprises an open end drum, a plastic cover and a locking member. The open head drum comprises a sidewall open at a top end by a threaded plastic chime. The chime comprises an annular wall having a rounded top edge with a plurality of thread segments and a flange extending outwardly from the annular wall below the thread segments and having a flange opening. Each thread segment comprises a plurality of threads extending outwardly from the annular wall. The thread segments are circumferentially spaced by non-threaded portions. A circumferential length of each non-threaded portion is similar to a circumferential length of each thread segment. The plastic cover has a central circular wall surrounded by a downwardly opening generally U-shaped wall for receiving the chime. The U-shaped wall comprises an outer annular sidewall and an inner annular sidewall connected by a rounded channel for sandwiching the chime. A flange extends outwardly from the outer annular sidewall and has a flange opening. The outer annular wall has a plurality of inwardly extending thread segments each having a plurality of threads. The thread segments are circumferentially spaced by non-threaded portions. A circumferential length of each non-threaded portion is similar to a circumferential length of each thread segment. The cover is selectively screwed onto the chime with a fractional turn of the cover with the chime rodded top edge being sealed in the rounded channel. The locking member is insertable through the flange openings to prevent the cover from backing off of the drum. | 12-18-2008 |
20090101649 | Drum with sidewall threaded to plastic base or chime - A shipping and storage drum comprises a unitary base of synthetic resin comprising a circular center wall connected at a peripheral edge to a connecting ring having an upwardly opening threaded annular channel. A tubular fiberboard sidewall defines a peripherally closed space having open opposite upper and lower ends. The tubular sidewall lower end is threaded into the threaded annular channel to close the sidewall lower end. The shipping and storage drum may also comprise a chime of synthetic resin comprising a connecting ring having a downwardly opening threaded annular channel receiving the upper end of the tubular sidewall, the chime for removably receiving a cover. | 04-23-2009 |
20090152271 | High pressure drum cover - A unitary cover is used with a tubular container having an open end with a cylindrical connecting bead at the open end. The unitary cover comprises a central circular wall. An expansion region surrounds the central circular wall. An annular flange has three concentric cylindrical walls defining an E-shaped wall. An outermost and middle cylindrical walls define a channel receivable on the cylindrical connecting bead. An innermost cylindrical wall defines a hinge and is connected to the expansion region. | 06-18-2009 |

20120111864 | DRUM COVER WITH CENTER SUPPORT - A unitary cover is adapted for use with a tubular container having an open end with a cylindrical connecting bead at the open end. The unitary cover comprises a central circular wall. An annular flange is at a periphery of the central circular wall comprising a downwardly opening U-shaped channel receivable on the cylindrical connecting bead. A bung opening is provided through the central circular wall. A rib network depends downwardly from the central circular wall surrounding the bung opening. | 05-10-2012 |
20120112476 | INTEGRAL HANDLE LOCKING BAND - A locking band for use with a container having an annular end portion defining a top opening and a removable cover overlying said opening. The locking band comprises a split circular ring, generally U-shaped in cross section, having first and second ends and including an outer circumferential wall. The second end is of a larger size than the first end to define a handle. A first notch opens outwardly proximate the first end and a second notch opens inwardly proximate the second end. Circumferential spacing between the notches is a select amount greater than a circumference of a cover. A band link has a first end and a second end, each end including a shaft receivable in the respective first and second notches. Spacing between the shafts is substantially similar to the select amount. In use, with the split circular ring surrounding the removable cover and annular end portion, the handle is forced inwardly toward the first end until the handle overlies the first end to secure the cover on the container. | 05-10-2012 |
20130009085 | Ball Valve With Anti-Backflow Device - A bulk container anti-backflow ball valve is adapted for use with a bulk container having a tubular spout. The valve comprises a housing having an interior spherical chamber connecting an inlet port to an outlet port. The housing includes an inlet fitting about the inlet port for connection to the spout, in use. A valve element is rotationally supported in the interior chamber of the housing for movement between a valve open position and a valve closed position. The valve element comprises a spherical ball having a through bore defining a cylindrical interior passage. A wall extends across the interior passage separating an inlet side of the passage from an outlet side of the passage. The wall includes a through opening. An anti-backflow device is received in the outlet side of the passage aligned with the through opening and is movable between a seated position and a spaced position relative to the wall. Flow from the inlet side to the outlet side moves the anti-backflow device to the spaced position to open the through opening. Flow from the outlet side to the inlet side moves the anti-backflow device to the seated position to close the through opening. A handle is provided for selective rotation of the valve element in the housing. | 01-10-2013 |
20140076889 | CONTAINER WITH SIDEWALL AND CLOSURE - A container is provided. The container includes a sidewall, a bottom closure, and a chime. The chime is coupled to a first end of the sidewall by adhesive. The bottom closure is coupled to a second end of the sidewall by adhesive. | 03-20-2014 |
20140097186 | CRATE - A container is provided. The container is configured to receive other containers containing materials to be held and/or transported. | 04-10-2014 |
20140263338 | DRUM WITH SIDEWALL - A container for shipping and/or storage includes a cylindrical sidewall extending from a first end to a second end and a bottom closure. The bottom closure is configured to be coupled to the second end of the cylindrical sidewall to close the second end of the cylindrical sidewall. | 09-18-2014 |

20130116555 | System and Method of Radiation Dose Targeting Through Ventilatory Controlled Anatomical Positioning - The system and method of the present application includes an image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) system, combined with a medical ventilator, to form a closed-loop system to optimize treatment of a tumor for patients who cannot comply with a normal respiratory management procedure. The ventilator may be used to generate respiratory maneuvers to facilitate clean images for dose planning, so that clinicians can more clearly visualize a target with fewer of the image artifacts associated with respiratory motion. The combined IGRT and ventilation systems approach facilitates treatment of specific organs most susceptible to respiratory motion artifact, and helps minimize the doses to the heart in left-breast treatments. Improved positioning of the anatomical target structures for exposure to external beam radiation may be accomplished through combinations of respiratory-gating, respiratory pause, and selective right or left lung mechanical ventilator techniques. | 05-09-2013 |
