20080238941Adding custom content to mapping applications - Digital maps can be composed of a series of image tiles that are selected based on the context of the map to be presented. Independently hosted tiles can comprise additional details that can be added to the map. A manifest can be created that describes the layers of map details composed of such independently hosted tiles. Externally referable mechanisms can, based on the manifest and map context, select tiles, from among the independently hosted tiles, that correspond to map tiles being displayed to a user. Subsequently, the mechanisms can instruct a browser, as specified in the manifest, to combine the map tiles and the independently hosted tiles to generate a more detailed map. Alternatively, customized mechanisms can generate map detail tiles in real-time, based on an exported map context. Also, controls instantiated by the browser can render three-dimensional images based on the combined map tiles.10-02-2008
20100302236EXTENSIBLE MAP WITH PLUGGABLE MODES - An extensible map module allows facilitates development of new map styles and presentation elements. Projection and presentation functions are at least partially separated, so that new styles or modes can be developed without impacting existing presentation element features. Similarly, new presentation elements can be developed independently from a particular mode or style implementation.12-02-2010

20100003439POLYETHYLENE COMPOSITIONS, METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME, AND ARTICLES PREPARED THEREFROM - The invention is related to compositions suitable for the fabrication of pipes, and other articles, with excellent performance properties. The invention provides a composition, comprising a blend, wherein said blend comprises a high molecular weight ethylene-based interpolymer and a low molecular weight ethylene-based interpolymer, and the high molecular weight ethylene-based interpolymer is a heterogeneously branched linear or a homogeneously branched linear ethylene-based interpolymer, and has a density from 0.922 g/cc to 0.929 g/cc, and a high load melt index (I21) from 0.2 g/10 min to 1.0 g/10 min, and the low molecular weight ethylene-based interpolymer is heterogeneously branched linear or a homogeneously branched linear ethylene-based interpolymer, and has a density from 0.940 g/cc to 0.955 g/cc, and a melt index (I2) from 6 g/10 min to 50 g/10 min. The blend has a single peak in an ATREF profile eluting above 30° C., and has a coefficient of viscosity average molecular weight (CM?) less than −0.0032 in the log(calculated Mv) versus elution temperature, said CMv calculated in the range of elution temperatures from 70° C. to 90° C. The Mv is the viscosity average molecular weight.01-07-2010
20120178888ROBUST SPRAY-DRIED ZIEGLER-NATTA PROCATALYST AND POLYMERIZATION PROCESS EMPLOYING SAME - A Ziegler-Natta procatalyst composition in the form of solid particles and comprising magnesium, halide and transition metal moieties, said particles having an average size (D50) of from 10 to 70 μm, characterized in that at least 5 percent of the particles have internal void volume substantially or fully enclosed by a monolithic surface layer (shell), said layer being characterized by an average shell thickness/particle size ratio (Thickness Ratio) determined by SEM techniques for particles having particle size greater than 30 μm of greater than 0.2.07-12-2012

20140272443HIGH-SLIP STRETCH FILM - A multi-layer stretch wrap film has three or more layers, including at least one outer non-cling layer, at least one inner core layer, and at least one outer cling layer, where the film displays enhanced non-cling properties after being stretched.09-18-2014
20150061198PROCESS FOR FORMING FILM - A method of making and using a stretchable film includes an extruding operation where molten plastics materials are extruded into a tube and a blowing operation in which the tube is blown to expand a diameter of the tube and form a blown-film tube. The blown-film tube is slit to form a film sheet that may be deformed elastically in a machine direction.03-05-2015
