20100236747 | Brush Roll for Casting Roll - A metal strip casting apparatus and method of casting metal strip include assembling a pair of counter-rotatable casting rolls positioned laterally forming a nip between for casting, and assembling a pair of brush rolls, each of the brush rolls associated with one of each of the casting rolls. Each brush roll includes at least one spaced apart brush line extending substantially along the axial length of the casting roll. The brush lines may form a spiral, zigzag, wave or crisscross array about the brush roll. The brush roll may include one or more staggered rings with regularly or irregularly spaced apart bristles which form the brush lines. The brush lines may be between 10 to 50 mm apart and separated by between 2 mm to 45 mm of open space. The brush lines may be one line per 10 mm to 90 mm of axial length of brush roll. | 09-23-2010 |
20100314879 | HIGH-TEMPERATURE RADIATOR STORAGE YARD GENERATING APPARATUS - A chimney has a lower portion substantially in the shape of a pyramid and an upper portion forming a cylindrical portion that extends with a predetermined dimension upwardly and is provided in a ceiling portion of a building of a coil yard that is used for temporary storage of the hot-rolled coil which is an intermediate iron and steel product acting as a high-temperature heat radiator that is manufactured using the hot-rolling equipment of an iron and steel mill. A power generating turbine is provided at a predetermined position in the cylindrical portion. An intake duct is provided on a lower end portion of the side walls of the building. Hot-rolled coils that are in a high-temperature condition after manufacture are successively imported into the coil yard and accumulated and stored until transfer to a subsequent processing step. An ascending airflow is generated by sequential heating of air introduced into the building from the intake duct using heat retained in the hot-rolled coils. The power generating turbines are rotated by the ascending airflow passing through the cylindrical portion of the chimney to thereby execute wind power generation. As a result, the heat retained in the high-temperature heat radiator manufactured by introduction of heat can be efficiently used. | 12-16-2010 |

20140352100 | VACUUM CLEANING DEVICE - This vacuum cleaning device is provided with: a vapor chamber in which vapor of a hydrocarbon-based cleaning agent is generated; a condensation chamber; a first heat exchanger in which heat exchange between the vapor and a heating medium is carried out; a cleaning chamber in which a workpiece can be cleaned under vacuum by the condensed cleaning agent that has been generated in the condensation chamber; a compressor that adiabatically compresses and further heats the heating medium that was heated by the first heat exchanger; a second heat exchanger that carries out heat exchange between the heating medium heated by the compressor and the hydrocarbon-based cleaning agent in the vapor chamber; and a vacuum unit that further cools the heating medium that has been cooled by the second heat exchanger by forcing vacuum expansion of the heating medium. The heating medium cycles through the first heat exchanger, the compressor, the second heat exchanger, and the vacuum unit by the heating medium cooled by the vacuum unit being returned to the first heat exchanger. | 12-04-2014 |
20150377553 | CONTINUOUS HEATING FURNACE - A continuous heating furnace includes one or a plurality of closed type gas heaters each having a combustion chamber, a guide section that guides an exhaust gas, a first radiation surface that extends in a direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of a baking object, heated by combustion in the combustion chamber and heat from the guide section and transfers radiant heat to the baking object, and an exhaust hole that discharges the exhaust gas, and at least one of exhaust heat transfer unit juxtaposed with the gas heater in the conveyance direction, each having a second radiation surface that communicates with the exhaust hole and heated by the exhaust gas, and a heat transfer acceleration unit that accelerates heat transfer from the exhaust gas to the second radiation surface at one or the other end sides in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the second radiation surface. | 12-31-2015 |
20160138797 | BOILER WATER SUPPLY PREHEATER SYSTEM AND BOILER WATER SUPPLY PREHEATING METHOD - The present disclosure relates to a boiler water supply preheater system which preheats water (boiler water supply) supplied to a boiler by a predetermined preheating means, wherein the preheating means is a Rankine cycle (thermal cycle) which moves heat of a waste heat source in the boiler to the boiler water supply to perform preheating and drives a generator to generate electric power using a heat medium. | 05-19-2016 |
