20090086204 | Fluorescence Correlation Microscopy with Real-Time Alignment Readout - This invention relates to a confocal fluorescence correlation microscope with real-time alignment read out. With this instrument it is possible to do confocal imaging together with the particle size determination at a chosen location in the specimen. In particular, this invention relates to a detector module with a fixed aperture and detection electronics that can be conveniently connected to an existing confocal or multiphoton microscope, near the base of the objective lens of the microscope. This detector splits a part of the signal and uses it to generate a spot on the confocal image. This shows the spot where an FCS measurement can be carried out, and the same signal can then be used to perform a fluorescence correlation measurement after parking the excitation beam of the confocal to that spot. No alignment step is necessary for obtaining the measurement. | 04-02-2009 |

20090265683 | METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SUPPORTING MULTIPLE DEPLOYMENT MODELS OF ENTERPRISE BUSINESS APPLICATIONS - This disclosure describes, generally, methods and systems for supporting multiple deployment models for enterprise business applications. In one embodiment, the method may include designating pillars associated with an enterprise business application. Each pillar may include application units which comprise logical groupings for application units used in the enterprise business application. The method may further include determining which of the application units are dependent to more than one of the pillars. Furthermore, based on the determination of the dependent application units, the method may generate deployment code associated with the dependent application units which is configured to be deployment model independent. The method may then receive, at deployment time, a deployment model designation indicating a type of deployment model selected to be used for the enterprise business application. Then, the enterprise business application may be deployed according to the deployment model designation. | 10-22-2009 |
20110093781 | DECLARATIVE TASK-BASED USER INTERFACES - In one embodiment, a method for building wizard-style user interfaces (UIs) for a business task includes identifying a collection of metadata associated with the business task, and processing the collection of metadata to provide a set of wizard-style UIs pertaining to the business task. | 04-21-2011 |
20120136826 | LONG-LIVED DATA TRANSACTIONS - In one embodiment, a method for facilitating long-lived data transactions includes starting a data transaction during a first user session, storing data associated with the data transaction in a temporary storage table, and ending the data transaction during a second user session using contents of the temporary storage table. | 05-31-2012 |
