20130199073 | DOT SIGHT DEVICE HAVING POWER SAVING FUNCTIONS, THE CONTROL METHOD THEREOF - A dot sight having power saving functions and a control method thereof are disclosed. The dot sight, which includes a battery, a dot visual chart generator, and a reflector disposed therein and which is mounted on a portable gun, includes a controller which selects an operation mode in which power of the dot visual chart generator is turned on and a power saving mode in which the power of the dot visual chart generator is turned off, and a timer which measures a time from when the operation mode is started, and the controller converts a mode into the power saving mode after a predetermined time using a time measured by the timer. Accordingly, if the dot sight is not used in the operation mode, the dot sight automatically converts the operation mode into the power saving mode, and, if a movement is sensed in the power saving mode, converts the power saving mode into the operation mode, so that battery utilization efficiency can be improved. Also, if a movement is sensed by a vibration sensor when a user grips a gun or aims at a target, the power saving mode is released and thus power saving functions are achieved without any inconvenience. | 08-08-2013 |
20130263491 | DOT-SIGHT DEVICE WITH POLARIZERS - Disclosed is a dot-sight device with polarizers. The dot-sight device with polarizers includes: a reflecting mirror; a first polarizing unit provided in front of the reflecting mirror; a dot indication generator emitting a ray to the reflecting mirror to form a the dot virtual image; and a second polarizing unit provided in front of the dot indication generator, the first polarizing unit and the second polarizing unit being arranged so that a ray of the dot indication generator is passed through the second polarizing unit but blocked by the first polarizing unit. Thus, there is provided a dot-sight device with polarizers, in which a ray emitted from a dot indication generator is not discovered by the other party and thus a dot-sight observer is not discovered by the other party. | 10-10-2013 |
20140096428 | DOT-SIGHTING DEVICE - A dot-sighting device includes a light source, a beam splitter and a reflective element. The light source emits light. The beam splitter includes a surface that reflects at least a portion of a first light component of the light and transmits at least a portion of a second light component. The reflective element reflects at least a portion of the first light component reflected by the surface of the beam splitter toward the beam splitter. The light reflected by the reflective element includes the second light component. | 04-10-2014 |
20140109456 | SMALL ARM DOT SIGHT DEVICE - A dot sight includes a base, a housing, a reflective element, an emitter, a horizontal adjusting portion and a vertical adjusting portion. The housing is coupled to the base. The reflective element is coupled to the housing. The emitter provides a reticle image to the reflective element. The reflective element reflects at least a portion of the reticle image. The emitter is coupled to the housing. The horizontal adjusting portion adjusts a position of the housing relative to the base. The vertical adjusting portion adjusts a position of the housing relative to the base. | 04-24-2014 |
20150204636 | AUTOMATIC CORRECTION APPARATUS FOR TRAJECTORY OF A PROJECTILE AND CORRECTION METHOD USING THE SAME - Disclosed is an automatic correction apparatus for a trajectory of a projectile from a firearm of which a sight and a gun barrel are installed in parallel, the apparatus including: a distance measurer which is installed in parallel with the sight and measures distance from a target to be hit; a central processing unit which calculates a correction value for parallelization between the gun barrel and the sight so that a trajectory curve and the target can intersect with each other on the basis of the distance measured by the distance measurer; and a parallelization adjuster which connects the sight and the gun barrel and adjusts axial parallelization between a sight line of the sight and the gun barrel on the basis of the parallelization correction value calculated by the central processing unit. With this, the trajectory of the projectile is automatically corrected in accordance with the distance from the target, and thus quick and correct aiming and firing are possible. | 07-23-2015 |
20150268002 | LOCKING MECHANISM FOR A SMALL ARM ACCESSORY - A fixing mechanism includes a mounting plate of a small arm accessory, a fixing member and an adjusting member. The mounting plate has a surface that faces the small arm when the mounting plate is fixed to the small arm. A first direction is defined as normal to the surface. The fixing member extends from the surface of the mounting plate in the first direction. The fixing member includes an aperture defined therein having an axis that defines a second direction different from the first direction. The adjusting member provides a fixing force to fix the small arm accessory to the small arm when inserted into the aperture of the fixing member. | 09-24-2015 |
20150308788 | DOT-SIGHTING DEVICE - A dot-sighting device includes a light source, a beam splitter and a reflective element. | 10-29-2015 |
