20140174702 | HEAT EXCHANGER - A heat exchanger of a type with a collector plate which has a wall in which are formed rim holes which can receive the ends of tubes of a bundle, wherein the wall of the collector plate is designed such that, for the purpose of a soldered or welded connection to the tubes, it forms collars around the rim holes, and wherein the wall has a front side facing toward the tube bundle and a rear side facing toward the collecting tank. Each collar extends in the direction of the collecting tank from a straight base plane on the rear side of the wall. | 06-26-2014 |

20080280107 | Film Comprising a Polymer Layer - The invention concerns a film, in particular a stamping film, laminating film or sticker film, which has at least one anisotropic polymer layer of an at least partially oriented liquid crystal material. The anisotropic polymer layer has one or more first regions which form a first security feature and in which the anisotropic polymer layer has properties which linearly polarise or which rotate the direction of rotation, and one or more second regions which form a second security element and in which the anisotropic polymer layer has circularly polarising properties. The first security feature is visualised when viewed through a first polariser and the second security feature is visualised when viewed through a second polariser responsive to a different polarisation state from that of the first polariser. | 11-13-2008 |

20140218053 | Plastic Film and Touch Sensor - Disclosed is a plastic film and a touch module produced therefrom. The module is constructed from two conductive layers with an insulation layer in between, as are used in capacitive touch pads and/or touch screens, for example. The problem of connecting the respective x or y sensors across two planes in a cost-effective manner employs foldable sensor planes in the plastic film suitable for mass production. The connections and conductor tracks are concentrated on one plane on a sensor side wherein the sensor planes are arranged on flexible materials. The registering of the two planes relative to each other is simplified via a secure mechanical connection of the two planes via a fold in the film. | 08-07-2014 |
20150334824 | Multilayer Body Having Electrically Conductive Elements and Method for Producing Same - The invention provides a large number of possibilities for how, in the case of a multi-layer body with electrically conductive elements which are not visible to the naked eye, the electrically conductive elements can be prevented from excessively reflecting light back. Here, a suitable surface roughness for the electrically conductive elements can be selected, or at least one additional layer ( | 11-19-2015 |

20140328370 | METHOD FOR EXAMINATION OF A SAMPLE BY MEANS OF THE HEAT FLOW THERMOGRAPHY - The invention provides a method for a non-destructive, non-contacting and image forming examination of a sample by means of the heat flow thermography method where the examination consists of evaluating an existence and/or depth distance values of any heat flow velocity transitions below a surface of the sample, wherein the sample is excited by heat pulses of at least one excitation source, and a thermal flow originating therefrom is captured by at least one infrared sensor in an image sequence of thermal images, and wherein the thermal images obtained from the image sequence are evaluated by means of a signal and image processing and depicting a thermal flow with a resolution in time and in space. The method comprises: exciting the sample at least twice independently from each other by means of the heat pulses from the excitation source where a second excitation and any succeeding excitation is delayed with respect to a preceding excitation by a time delay whereby the start of the captured sequence happens at another defined point of time within the time between two images within an image sequence; detecting the respective total thermal flow processes generated by the at least two excitation processes of the sample by the infrared sensor in the independent image sequences containing the excitation as well as the thermal answer signal from the sample, combining all captured image sequences to a total image sequence in which all images are arranged in a sequence which is correct in time with respect to the point of time of the pulse like excitation, and extracting from the total image sequence, in a manner known per se, an indication of the depth distance of a heat flow velocity transition from a surface of the sample. Therein, the heat flow velocity transitions can be a boarder layer of a layered material or defects in a substrate or below a surface of a work piece. | 11-06-2014 |
