20130240673 | ENABLING MULTIPLE AUTONOMOUS CARGO DELIVERIES IN A SINGLE MISSION - Some embodiments of the invention provide methods and apparatus enabling multiple unmanned cargo deliveries in a single mission. An assembly having multiple hooks may be coupled to an unmanned vehicle via a cable. Prior to a mission originating at a starting location, multiple cargo loads may each be loaded on to a respective pallet, wrapped in a cargo delivery net, and attached to one of the hooks. A ground controller may instruct the unmanned vehicle to deliver the cargo loads to separate locations. The unmanned delivery vehicle may navigate to a first delivery location, perform delivery of a first cargo load by causing the hook on the assembly to release the first load, autonomously exit the first location and navigate to a second delivery location without returning to the starting location, and perform delivery of a second cargo load by causing the hook on the assembly to release the second load. | 09-19-2013 |

20120277597 | APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR NON-INVASIVELY MEASURING PHYSIOLOGIC PARAMETERS OF ONE OR MORE SUBJECTS - Improved apparatus and methods for non-invasively assessing one or more physiologic (e.g., hemodynamic) parameters associated with a living organism. In one embodiment, the invention comprises an apparatus adapted to automatically and accurately place and maintain a sensor (e.g., tonometric pressure sensor) with respect to the anatomy of the subject. The apparatus is comprised of a sensor device removably coupled to a host device which is used to position the sensor during measurements. Methods for positioning the alignment apparatus and sensor, and operating the apparatus, are also disclosed. | 11-01-2012 |

20110213255 | APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR NON-INVASIVELY MEASURING HEMODYNAMIC PARAMETERS - Improved apparatus and methods for non-invasively assessing one or more hemodynamic parameters associated with the circulatory system of a living organism. In one aspect, the invention comprises apparatus adapted to accurately place and maintain a sensor (e.g., tonometric pressure sensor) with respect to the anatomy of the subject, including an alignment apparatus which is separable from an adjustable fixture. The apparatus moveably captures the sensor to, inter alia, facilitate-coupling thereof to an actuator used to position the sensor during measurements. In a second aspect, improved sensor apparatus is disclosed adapted to minimize the effects of shear during sensor movement and monitoring as well as maximize the lateral and proximal search area available to the sensor within the apparatus. Methods for positioning the alignment apparatus and sensor are also disclosed. | 09-01-2011 |
