20140370515 | METHOD OF CO-CULTURING HUMAN ENDOMETRIAL STEM CELLS AND RAT EMBRYONIC TOOTH BUD CELLS TO OBTAIN AMELOBLAST CELLS - The various embodiments herein provide a method of co-culturing human endometrial stem cells and rat embryonic tooth bud cells to obtain ameloblast cells. The human endometrial stem cells are isolated from human females between the ages of 18-40 and cultured. The hEnSCs are identified using flowcytometry. The rat embryonic tooth bud cells are isolated from rat embryos and cultured. After the hEnSCs and rat embryonic tooth bud cells reach a desired level of cell growth, the hEnSCs are transferred to culture plate inserts and the rat embryonic tooth bud cells are transferred to a culture plate. The hEnSCs and rat embryonic tooth bud cells are co-cultured to obtain ameloblast cells. Immunocytochemical analysis is used to characterize the differentiated ameloblast cells. Quantitative real time PCR (qRT-PCR) is used to detect the presence of Ameloblastin, Amelogenin, Amelotin and Cytokeratin 14 proteins in differentiated ameloblast cells. | 12-18-2014 |

20140330968 | METHOD AND TREND ANALYZER FOR ANALYZING DATA IN A COMMUNICATION NETWORK - A method and apparatus for performing analysis of client related data obtained from a communication network. A trend analyzer analyzes a trend of a client segment, which trend has been detected by a data stream analysis of the client related data. The trend reflects a change over time of at least one feature derived from the client related data. The trend analyzer then requests a batch based deep analysis when the trend fulfils a trigger condition, to find a cause for the trend. A result of the deep analysis is then provided to a result consumer. Thereby, the deep analysis may be performed only when a trend has been detected thus being more responsive to trends by the stream analysis and reguiring less resources, as compared to when data is always subjected to deep analysis regardless of whether a trend occurs or not. | 11-06-2014 |

20140325036 | Defining Disjoint Node Groups for Virtual Machines with Pre-Existing Placement Policies - Disjoint node groups are generated for a node cluster to guarantee hardware redundancy for each service group to be configured on the node cluster. Each service group includes service units, and each service unit is a unit of redundancy for services provided and protected by the service group. Hardware dependency is identified between virtual machines in the node cluster and hardware elements to host the virtual machines. A first node group set (NG set) is formed using a first criterion to select the virtual machines into different node groups based on the hardware dependency, such that there is no common hardware element between any two node groups in the first NG set. The first NG set is mapped to a first set of service groups. Different node groups of the first NG set are mapped to different service units in each service group of the first set of service groups. | 10-30-2014 |

20160140584 | EMD-Spectral Prediction (ESP) - A data prediction method to apply to a time series. In some embodiments, the data may be decomposed into a superposition of two or more components, which each represent different facets of the data. In further embodiments presented herein, the data may be decomposed into components representing: slowly-varying oscillations; cyclical and known instantaneous (non-stationary) disturbances; and background stationary noise effects. Each component may then be subjected to its own prediction algorithm. The predicted values of each component may then be composed to obtain a final prediction of the original data. | 05-19-2016 |

20120071741 | SLEEP APNEA MONITORING AND DIAGNOSIS BASED ON PULSE OXIMETERY AND TRACHEAL SOUND SIGNALS - Detection of apnea/hypopnea events to calculate an apnea/hypopnea index is obtained by analysis of breathing pattern of a patient from breathing and snore sounds and a finger probe recording the SaO2 signal. A detector analyzes microphone signals to detect breath, snore and noise sounds in response to a detected drop in the SaO2 level greater than 2% and to extract and analyze the breathing sounds from a limited time period starting prior to the drop of the SaO2 signal and ending at least at the end of each drop. Separated time periods are divided phases with snore sounds and those with breathing sounds and an estimated breathing volume adjacent to a snore phase is used to estimate the airflow of the snore phase. The relative and absolute energy and duration of the sound periods is used to classify the sound periods into the three groups of breath, snore and noise. | 03-22-2012 |
