A producer who utilizes one or more separate manufacturers, operates a remote module that communicates over forward and backward channels with a local module at the manufacturer. Encrypted data transmissions are sent by producer to the manufacturer and are decrypted to obtain sensitive data used in the devices. As data transmissions are decrypted, credits from a credit pool are depleted and can be replenished by the producer through credit instructions. As distribution images are decrypted, usage records are created and eventually concatenated, and sent as usage reports back to the producer, to enable the producer to monitor and meter production at the manufacturer. | 08-12-2010 |
20100312791 | PARTIAL REVOCATION LIST - A partial revocation list and a system and method for using the partial revocation list for tracking the authenticity of replacement cartridges in a manufactured device to inhibit cloning of the cartridges is provided. A revocation pool is maintained by a manufacturer who chooses a partial revocation list from the revocation pool to store in the memory of the cartridge. The device stores its own revocation list, informs the manufacturer of cartridges which have been used and checks when a new device is installed to ensure a cloned replacement is not being used. The partial revocation list distributes enough revocation information to devices to statistically impair the cartridge yield of a cloning operation. | 12-09-2010 |
20110268270 | Method of Public Key Generation - A potential bias in the generation of a private key is avoided by selecting the key and comparing it against the system parameters. | 09-12-2013 |

20110248834 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LOW COST, POWER EFFICIENT, WIRELESS TRANSPONDER DEVICES WITH ENHANCED FUNCTIONALITY - This invention provides a method and system for inventorying wireless transponders, specifically referred to as RFID transceiver devices. The RFID transceiver devices are certifiable by a recognized standards body, such as EPCglobal, or are compatible with recognized standards but have higher functionality than typical passive RFIDs, and yet are implemented with techniques that lower cost and battery requirements. Backscatter techniques of standard passive RFIDs are used to keep cost and battery requirements low. To provide higher functionality, a microcontroller is used in the RFID, along with a battery, but the clock frequency of the microcontroller is adjusted, based on external input, to minimize battery requirements. In one embodiment, the microcontroller initially has a zero or near zero clock frequency. A comparator compares the received RF energy to a threshold, and when the threshold is exceeded, indicating the presence of a probe signal from an RFID reader, the microcontroller clock frequency is immediately increased, and further adjusted based on the received data. In an alternate embodiment, the clock frequency of the microcontroller is adjusted based on data from sensors, to keep the clock speed at the proper speed to adequately process the data while minimizing the power requirement of the microcontroller, and then create an input to modulate the backscattered signal to be transmitted by the RFID. The received data can also cause the microcontroller to request the sensors to generate sensing data at a faster rate, which in turn requires the microcontroller clock to increase to handle the increased sensor data. In an additional embodiment, multiple sensors are multiplexed to provide a single input stream to the microcontroller, reducing the microcontroller clock speed required, along with the overall cost of the microcontroller and sensors. | 10-13-2011 |

20090106920 | SCOURING PAD - The Present Invention is a class of pads used for both cleaning and scouring. The pad has one or more usable faces and may have one or more unusable faces. Alternatively, all faces of the pad may be usable. The pad is sized conveniently to fit into the palm of a person's hand. The usable faces are also sized to enable manual washing of dishes, scouring of pots and pans, and cleaning of surfaces. Each usable face comprises a plurality of diverse materials. At least one of these materials is sponge-like, and at least one of these materials is suitable for use in scrubbing or scouring. However, all of these materials are on the same usable face. The user does not have to turn the pad over to access one material in place of another. All washing, cleaning, scrubbing, and scouring may be accomplished from contact with a single face of the pad. | 04-30-2009 |
20090235933 | ELECTROSTATICALLY CHARGED MASK FILTER PRODUCTS AND METHOD FOR INCREASED FILTRATION EFFICIENCY - A surgical or permeable mask are used to stop contaminants from entering the mouth and nose of patients and, people administering healthcare or working in other areas where there is a potential danger of airborne contaminants such as particulates, pollutants, bacteria, viruses, or other dangerous particles entering the oral and nasal passages. The Present Invention provides increased filtration efficiency of these masks by creating an electrostatic field that attracts and captures oppositely charged contaminants and repels similarly charged contaminants. | 09-24-2009 |
20090246163 | ANTI-STATIC SKIN PRODUCTS AND METHOD - An aqueous or non-aqueous preparation comprising cationic agents to neutralize a negative charge thereby relieving tension in the skin and preventing moisture from escaping. It relieves static-tension in the skin thereby reducing the distance between the pores. The difference between the Present Invention and other water based skin conditioners is the amount of cationic agents used. The Present Invention utilizes much more of these ingredients than other commercial products. This produces the unexpected result of neutralizing the charge on the skin and relieving tension, softening and moisturizing the skin. In its most basic form, it contains no moisturizing or other skin conditioning agents. These products can be added to the Present Invention, or alternatively, the Present Invention may be used as an additive to most currently available commercial aqueous and non-aqueous based skin moisturizers for a synergistic skin softening effect. | 10-01-2009 |
20090258946 | ELECTROSTATICALLY CHARGED NASAL APPLICATION MULTIPURPOSE PRODUCTS AND METHOD - A family of products designed to ameliorate sinusitis and allergic rhinitis, produced by combining certain chemical substances with existing products, thereby producing a synergistic effect and relief. The chemical substances create an electrostatically charged field around the nose and prevent allergens or pollutants from entering the nostrils to cause a reaction, illness, or discomfort for the user. Therefore, the Present Invention comprises products, which are applied to the face, and therefore around the nose and nasal passages, as well as those applied directly into the nose. These products include but are not limited to nasal sprays, rinses, washes, sunscreens, nasal strips, swabs (medicated and non-medicated), tissues, towelettes, cosmetics, and fragrances. Common nasal sprays often comprise saline solutions. Cosmetics comprise camouflage paint or theatrical makeup. The principle function of the Present Invention is to prevent harmful airborne particulates from entering the nose when either sprayed into the nose or applied to the face, nose, or nasal passages. | 10-15-2009 |
