20080229691 | Thin brick and tile drainage system - A sheet is provided for placing a brick or tile facing on a support structure that has an arrangement of apertures for the passage of fluids such as water. The sheet has an approximately rectangular conformation that includes a front and a back. The sheet defines channels between longitudinally aligned parallel partitions that are separated by a wall. Each channel receives the thin bricks or tiles. The structure of the partitions varies and can include an upward facing first portion that has an arrangement of apertures and a downward facing second portion. A liquid, such as water, that drains down the front of the sheet passes through the apertures in the first portion to the sloped second portion and is then redirected to the back of the sheet. The apertures also provide for the circulation of air. A method is provided for the drainage of liquid from the front of the sheet to the back of the sheet by providing a partition in the sheet that has at least one aperture that passes liquid from the front to the back of the sheet. | 09-25-2008 |
20100088987 | VENTILATED SIDING SYSTEM - A lap siding system for use on an exterior of a building that includes a plank having a length and a complementary member, such as corner trim, door trim, etc. The lap siding system further includes a flashing disposed between the plank and the complementary member. The plank, the complementary member, and the flashing are adapted to be coupled to an exterior of a substructure of a building. At least one of the plank, the complementary member, and the flashing is adapted to create at least one ventilation channel between the substructure of the building and at least one of the plank, the complementary member, and the flashing. | 04-15-2010 |
20100132288 | Top Sided Vented Trim for Exterior Cladding System - A trim member for an exterior wall cladding system of a residential or commercial building is provided. The trim member includes a nailing flange, a top flange extending perpendicularly from the top of the nailing flange, a front leg extending downwardly from the exterior end of the top flange, a vent leg projecting inwardly from the front leg, and a return leg extending upwardly toward the top flange. The vent leg may be perforated to allow the passage of air and moisture out of the trim member and oriented so that rain water cannot enter directly into the trim member. The trim member permits the wall cladding system to drain and ventilate, thereby removing unwanted water and moisture vapor or condensation from within the cladding system. The trim member may be installed on an exterior building wall beneath the soffit prior to the application of a wall cladding system. | 06-03-2010 |
20110239568 | COMBINATION FLASHING AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM - A combination through-wall masonry flashing/drainage device having a flashing membrane with at least one reinforcing cloth adhered to at least one side of the flashing membrane. A wicking cloth made of a synthetic wicking material is then adhered to the device. The wicking cloth material is selected for wicking ability, life expectancy, mildew resistance, and strength characteristics. | 10-06-2011 |
20120023848 | ROOFING SYSTEM AND METHOD - A roof mounting system can include a roof substrate and flashing supportable on the substrate and including an outwardly extending projection having a concave interior side and an aperture extending through the projection between top and bottom surfaces of the flashing. A seal can extend through the aperture and contact at least a portion of the top surface and at least a portion of the bottom surface. The seal can be conformable with the concave interior side and can define a seal aperture substantially aligned with the flashing aperture. A mounting bracket can be supportable on the flashing and can define an aperture sized to receive at least a portion of each of the seal and the projection. A fastener can extend through the mounting bracket aperture, seal aperture, and flashing aperture to inhibit fluid flow through the flashing aperture. | 02-02-2012 |
20120216474 | CORNER PATCHES AND METHODS FOR TPO ROOFING - An outside corner patch for TPO roofing is formed from a circular piece of TPO membrane material being vacuum formed to define an array of flutes that extend from the center of the piece toward its edges. The flutes form ridges and valleys that generally are shaped as conical sections with the apex of the conical sections located at the center of the patch. The number and size of the flutes is optimized in such a way that, when the flutes are stretched flat, the patch conforms to and fits flat against the surfaces of an outside corner formed by the intersection of a roof deck with an upward protrusion from the roof. The TPO outside corner patch is applied over the corner and thermally welded to surrounding TPO membranes on the roof deck and the protrusion to form a watertight seal at the outside corner. | 08-30-2012 |
20120255250 | THROUGH-WALL MASONRY FLASHING AND DRAINAGE DEVICE - A combination through-wall masonry flashing and drainage device has a flashing membrane made of stainless steel sheet and a reinforcing cloth affixed to a first side of the flashing membrane. The flashing membrane has a thickness between 0.001 and 0.007 inch. When installed between an inner wall and an outer wall, water between the inner wall and outer wall is diverted to the outside of the outer wall by the through-wall masonry flashing and drainage device. | 10-11-2012 |
20140202096 | DRAINAGE SYSTEM FOR USE IN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION - A flashing and drainage system for use in a cavity wall construction, including a flashing member, is disclosed. The flashing member includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The flashing member may be provided in the form of a continuous roll. | 07-24-2014 |
20150128516 | Dual pitched, square, low profile, galvanized metal roof flashing for rigid tubular daylighting systems. - A galvanized metal flashing for the rooftop portion of a rigid tubular sunlight system, consisting of a flashing assembly (det. | 05-14-2015 |
