20150068161 | Residential Recycling Bin - A bin and method for its use in recycling residential recyclable materials are described. The bin comprises a left and right sidewall, a base, and front wall; the front wall is lower than the other three walls, and when two bins are stacked in a 0° stacking configuration, the lower front wall of the lower bin and a sloped surface on the lower portion of the upper bin create a recyclable receiving chute that accepts recyclable materials freely. When in the stacked configuration, the upper bin is substantially securely held to the lower bin by a combination of a channel on the lower rear portion of the base that fits over a handle that rests upon on upper portion of the rear wall. Furthermore, a lower lip on the lower portion of the rear wall aligns with the handle and substantially prevents front-wards and backwards motion of the upper bin. The handle can facilitate retention of the liner as well, by holding the liner against the upper portion of the rear wall. The rear wall comprises a top open portion within which a portion of the handle can fit, thereby forming a substantially planar surface among the upper portions of the left and right sidewalls, and the handle. A plurality of inverted “V” shaped liner retainers secure liners to help prevent their being dragged into the interior portion of the bin. | 03-12-2015 |
20140326728 | Refuse Container - A refuse container has a bin defining a cavity and a lid selectively inhibiting access to the cavity. A pair of opposing brackets is located below the lid. The brackets are in laterally spaced relationship such that a space is located between portions of the brackets. Each bracket has opposing inner and outer face portions with an interior gap formed between therebetween. The interior gap is fluidly isolated from the cavity. A rib is located within the interior gaps such that each rib extends inwardly relative to the space between the brackets. A retention bar is coupled to each bracket and spans the space from one bracket to the other bracket wherein opposing ends of the retention bar extend into the interior gap of each bracket, and an exposed portion of the retention bar spans the space between the brackets. The end portions of the retention bar abut the ribs. | 11-06-2014 |

20100300912 | Beverage Crate with Constant-Diameter Pockets - A nestable crate or container for holding bottles. The crate has a floor portion substantially in a first plane having a plurality of bottle seating areas, with each bottle seating area being adapted to receive a lower portion of a bottle. The crate also includes a peripheral wall surrounding the floor portion and extending upward from the floor portion, a plurality of central columns extending upward from the floor portion and oriented proximate to a longitudinal centerline of the crate, and a plurality of pylons extending upward from the floor portion along the periphery of the crate. Each central column includes at least one first bottle-contacting surface and each pylori includes at least one second bottle-contacting surface. Both the first and second bottle contacting surfaces are substantially orthogonal to the first plane. | 12-02-2010 |
